Getting rid of the bugs

Once you got home you went straight to the kitchen to put the pie pans in the sink, and turned to see Bucky looking at the new camera.
"Honey, what's this?" Bucky made a show of looking confused. He pulled it down and showed it to you and you masked your face in complete confusion.
"Looks like some kind of camera!" you exclaimed. Bucky came into the kitchen and pulled out some duct tape from the drawer and put it over the lens. "What kind of pervert is trying to watch us in our own house?" you demanded.
"Maybe we should call the police" Bucky looked around, speaking closely to one of the microphones.
"Just get rid of it" you pretended to stumble on one of the bugs and pulled it out. "There's little microphones around here too" you added aghast. You looked to Bucky and you both shared a smile.
"Let me look around and see if there's anymore" Bucky spoke loudly while you got out a baggy for evidence and you both went about collecting all the bugs. You both put them in the baggy as you went. You did a little dance as you got them all, and you both went down to the basement to start setting up your evidence collection. Bucky found the safe that Tony had left for you both, and he put it all in before locking it up. You both went up the stairs and looked at each other. Bucky pulled out the bug sweeping device and checked the rest of the main floor and you waited for him to nod to you that you were both in the clear.
"Well that was a good performance" you smirked at him.
"Good performance indeed" Bucky leaned into you and kissed you softly on the lips. You hummed happily and ran your hands over his shoulders. "Now tonight, I'm sneaking in his basement..." he started and you put one finger over his lips.
"No, tomorrow while you are at the farmers market because I'm hurting with morning sickness, you are going to text me when they are both there and I'm sneaking in the basement" you shook your head.
"Doll..." he shook his head.
"Its my mission too" you reminded him. "And I'm the perfect cover"
"But what about your crepes and waffles?" he looked at you worriedly.
"Bring them home to me" you wound your arms around his neck and leaned into him. "You know what I want for fruits and vegetables"
"Make me a list so it looks good" he grinned. "I can't seem to say no to you" he leaned forward just enough to clasp his lips to yours and you eagerly kissed him, trying to show him without words how much you loved him. His hands trailed down to your hips and he pulled you in closer to him so you could feel his entire body pressed against you and his erection pressing into your lower belly. He started to get more animated with the kiss, and squeezing more on your hips while you rubbed yourself against him. He started kissing along your jawline making his way to your earlobe. He let out a hungry moan and you sighed happily, loving the affection that he was giving you. You heard your phone go off, and you both groaned at the interruption. You pulled back and opened up your purse to see it was the burner phone. It was from Tony saying the team didn't need to see that.
"Well, that ruined the mood" you sighed showing it to Bucky. He pulled back and flipped off one of the camera's that he knew was in the room. "I'd better take out Daisy" you sighed.
"I could hit Tony right now" Bucky growled.
"Mission first my love" you winked at him. "We need to ask him for the house blueprints" you started texting into the phone, giving Ron and Stephanie's address specifically. Tony texted back he would email them once he had them. You nodded to yourself and grabbed two glasses and poured both yourself and Bucky some lemonade. "Come on, lets go enjoy the sun" you smiled brightly, and Bucky nodded, following you outside with Daisy in tow. Alpine meowed pitifully from the living room, and Bucky went back in the house to go get him to bring him out with you both.
"Bring the crossword with you" you called to Bucky and he nodded in agreement.

By the time you both had finished a few crossword puzzles, Daisy and Alpine were sleeping together in the sunshine. You gave a small smile, and kissed Bucky on the cheek, leaving him to keep working on them while you went inside to make supper. You decided on bar-b-que chicken, and to make a salad. Bucky seemed up for the task of making the chicken, and you went about making a salad with the last of the vegetables you had, and added some feta to it. You also made a fruit salad with the last of the fruit for dessert. You danced around the kitchen and smiled to Bucky as he came in the house with the finished chicken.
"My beautiful dame" he grinned and kissed you on the cheek.
"The table is set, we just need the drinks" you pulled out a bottle of water for you, and a beer for Bucky. He grinned and sat down. "Falling like the stars" by James Arthur came on, and Bucky stood up quickly and grabbed your hands as you were setting down the drinks and he pulled you close. "What?" you asked, looking at him adoringly.
"We haven't danced in a while" he started slow dancing you around the room. "We don't know how much longer this mission is going to be, or how much more alone time we are going to have... I want to take advantage of it while I can" he whispered and put you into a turn. When you got back to him, he quickly put you into a dip and smiled as you slowly came back up. He continued to twirl you around the room, almost making you feel dizzy. You felt so full of love for this man, and couldn't imagine anything better. The song slowly finished, but another slow song came on, and Bucky didn't miss a beat, and continued to dance with you around the room. You leaned into him when you could, loving the feel of the beating of his heart steadily in his chest. He put you into a dip towards the end of the song again, and brought you back up to softly kiss you on the lips again. You hummed happily and leaned into him more. "Come on, the babies need to eat" he grinned and put a hand on your stomach, regardless there was no baby bump yet. You giggled and he led you back to the table where he pulled out the chair for you to sit down. He kissed you on top of the head once you were seated, then took his chair again. You both served yourselves what you wanted and ate silently, looking to one another once in a while with a secret smile.
"What about God-parents?" Bucky asked as you were both finishing dessert.
"Maria and Steve" you shrugged.
"I'm not going to fight that" he chuckled. "I was hoping that would be your answer. For both of them?" he asked for clarification.
"I don't see why not. They would both protect them no matter what, and share the responsibility. To be honest, I'm surprised that Maria was never asked to join the Avenger initiative" you looked at him with a small smile.
"That's on your dad, and you know it" Bucky chuckled.
"He does like to keep her close" you nodded. "I remember when she first started, she put a lot of the male agents on their ass before he fired all of them and kept her as my only security detail. She was fierce. Then she helped train me once I started. She never gave me a break, no matter what anyone else thought. I remember her face the first time I put her on her back. She was in shock, but she just told me that I did a good job, but not to get cocky. We've been close friends ever since" you giggled. "Then when I actually started on missions, she was almost always my partner. Did you know, she didn't even know about my powers until we knew each other for like three years?" you smirked.
"How did she take it?" Bucky asked, seeming to be enjoying the fact you were talking so much.
"She was in shock for a hot minute, then all the sudden just shrugged and demanded to know why I didn't use them before. I couldn't really answer it. She told me to get over it and start using it or else she would kick my ass" you giggled again. "I remember growing up, I spent so much time trying to figure out how I was going to outsmart Fury with my abilities training at night. Every night when he got home from work, if he wasn't out on a mission he would work hard on my abilities, but always told me to keep them a secret. I remember when I told Maria as much, she marched into his office and told him off" you smiled at the memory. "It was shortly after that, that I moved out on my own into the dormitories. Dad visited a lot in the beginning, so I learned to have beer waiting for him once he was done work. Maria kept me stocked up until I was legal age to buy my own. She also is the one that got me drunk the first time, on wine of course" you smiled at the memory. "Dad came into my apartment, and we were both drunk and dancing around like fools. He wasn't impressed, but he was happy we did it at home instead of some club"
"Did you go clubbing a lot when you were younger?" Bucky leaned forward, seeming invested in the conversation. You shook your head quickly.
"Not really. I was more focused on missions and getting them completed. There was a few years that dad had pulled Maria to work on a special project so we could only text or call one another. That's when I got lonely and went and got Daisy. I just couldn't sleep anymore, and the nightmares were getting worse. Maria fell in love with Daisy right away, but dad wasn't happy. He expected me to get rid of her, but I just couldn't. I promised her a forever home, and that's exactly what I'm giving her" you smiled at the memory and Bucky gazed at you lovingly.
"You know what, I think you are an amazing woman" he leaned across the table and kissed you softly on the lips. "I think I should show you how amazing I think you are" he wiggled his eyebrows at you.
"Its not bedtime yet" you grinned happily, thinking of the little surprise you had come up with while you had been cooking in the kitchen.
"We can call it an early night" his voice went a little deeper as he stared pointedly at your lips.
"Reports first, soldier" you winked at him. "Then I have a little surprise for you"
"What kind of surprise?" he seemed curious, and smiled softly.
"Oh you'll see" you stood up to put the dishes in the sink.
"I'll wash the dishes, you do your part of the report. See if those blueprints are in" he stood up and got behind you. He leaned down and kissed you softly on the side of your neck. "Mine is going to be a quick one tonight, I'd like to see how tomorrow goes" he nipped at your skin. You giggled and secretly grabbed your apron and ran up the stairs to send off your report to the team.
