Once you were done breakfast you headed through the farmers market taking more time to look at some of the crafts they had for sale as well. You found some cute necklaces for the girls back home, and earrings. You made sure to put them directly in your purse after purchasing, knowing this might very well be your last farmers market outing for a while. Once you got back to the compound, you weren't sure what to expect. It has been almost a month, and as much as you missed home, you were anxious about going back as well. You felt like the mission had changed you in a way. Not only that, but also carrying two babies made you think about all the decisions you have made in the past, and how much more careful you were going to have to be until the first trimester is over and done with. You felt like the mission had changed Bucky in a way too, you knew he was trying to prove he was a good man and not Hydra's weapon anymore. He had been trying to prove that for a very long time, but you only see him as a hero. In fact, he was your hero. You felt like he needed to know that, but you needed to choose the right time to do it. You needed him to know from the bottom of your heart you were sincere, and you also wanted him to take it to heart.

You paused while you were walking to look at some cupcakes, and saw they were decorated with little heart sprinkles. They were advertised to be strawberry flavored and wanted so badly to buy them. You heard a deep chuckle from beside you and Bucky took out his wallet and bought a six pack for you both.
"You'll have them gone by the end of the night" he winked at you lovingly, and you felt yourself flush a little bit. You had already sent him home with a bag full of fresh strawberries alone, and a few bags of other fruits for the week.
"They just look really cute" you cooed to him, and he took the box from the merchant. You noticed he seemed to be getting laden down with packages again, and decided it was probably best to head home. You were enjoying yourself this morning, and Bucky seemed a lot more relaxed while you were both just walking around. "We should probably head home and go to the grocery store" you sighed hesitantly.
"Are you sure? You look like you are having a lot of fun" he smirked at you.
"I am, but I don't want to miss out on getting you your lunch meats, and our supper meats for the week. We also need more eggs for breakfast, and especially if you want pies" you nodded.
"Alright, come on my rose" he started leading the way back home.
You fell a bit behind him as he strode confidently back to the house, and you stopped to look around. This neighborhood was about to get hit with some bad news, and you hated the fact that you knew it was the outcome of the mission. A lot of the people around you were good people, and blind to the darkness in the world. You had learned from a young age how to be resilient in both worlds, but a lot of the people you had come to know weren't privy to that kind of life and you hated that Ron had brought it to them. You wondered silently if it was going to be a big blow to Penelope, Laura, Dean, Stephanie, and Morgan. Stephanie deserved so much better than she was getting. Morgan was a police officer, so it might bother him that something like this was happening right under his nose. You wondered if this little community would thrive, or be devastated by the news. Once you had the banking information you were also going to have the names of all of his buyers, who likely had no idea what they had would be illegal. You silently wondered how many people had fallen to his schemes. You knew Tony would follow all of the money trails and be through about it before giving the information over to Shield. You wondered who was going to come in to do the arrest, and silently wished it could be you and Bucky, but also knew that would be an impossibility if they wanted to keep your cover. Then again, what would you need the cover for anymore once Ron was arrested. You supposed you had to wait for your orders, and would find out what was going to happen and when.
"Rose?" Bucky called back to you. He was standing in front of the door, and you were still at the end of the driveway. You shook your head from your musings and sped up to get to him, and unlock the door.
Once you were inside, you let Daisy off of her leash and put it up before heading into the kitchen to help put everything away.
"What were you thinking about?" Bucky looked at you curiously.
"Just... normal things" you shrugged and pulled out your burner phone and didn't see any text messages. "Can you do a little sweeping for me?" you asked carefully, trying to hint at wanting him to sweep for bugs again. He nodded and went to grab the device and started on the main floor while you put the fruits and vegetables away. You put the cupcakes on the table for later, hoping Bucky would do his usual order of pizza tonight. You were feeling a bit off still since this morning, and had been getting steadily more tired all week. You knew it was a sign that Loki's spell was wearing off, but you were glad for it in a way. You needed the full experience, it was only fair. You were just surprised, that's all. Another reason you didn't fully want to go back to the compound was because you craved strawberries all the time, and you knew you couldn't keep those in the kitchen back there. You saw Bucky go upstairs to do an additional sweep to make sure and you sighed internally to yourself. You hoped there were no cameras or bugs on the top floor. That would be too invasive for your liking. Then again, Ron had done this to multiple houses already, and you had to wonder how many people had found the cameras or microphones so far, if at all.
"All clear" Bucky came back with a smile on his face.
"Basement?" you asked softly.
"Forgot that one" he nodded and went down the basement stairs. You slowly made your way to the top floor and took the little trinkets you had bought, and put them away so you knew you would make sure to bring them back with you to the compound. You sat on the side of the bed and took your mask off for a moment, wanting to just be yourself for a moment. You threw it on the charger and thought again about what was going to happen when you got back to the compound. You heard Bucky's feet on the stairs and turned slightly on the bed to watch him as he walked in.
"Doll? We are all clear" Bucky gave you a smile.
"Until we get home again" you gave a soft sigh. "I don't trust Ron"
"I don't trust him either" Bucky sat down beside you and let out a small groan.
"Bucky, what are we going to do? All those people are going to be devastated when they find out what's been going on in their little community" you asked in a worried whisper.
"That's not for us to worry about" he looked at you for a moment.
"But what about Stephanie, Penelope, Laura, Dean and Morgan. We've gotten to know them so well, and I would hate to just up and leave them with no explanation" you bit your bottom lip feeling dejected at the thought of leaving everyone.
"We can give them an explanation, but once the mission is done. Besides we will have to wait a few days once Shield is done with the arrest for Tony to finish going through all the data, and follow the money trails" he spoke softly. "We can even invite the team down, Laura would love that. I think Penelope would too" he gave a small grin.
"I know they would, they both think Steve is hot" you giggled.
"I heard, they like his ass" he chuckled.
"Penelope also like's the Falcon" you leaned into Bucky's side. "That should make Sam's day"
"Too bad Maria's got him already wrapped around her finger" Bucky put his arm around you. "You seem to be worried about a lot of things" he brought his voice down slightly.
"I am, I'm just thinking about the outcome of everything. I also kind of dont want to go back, I like the life we started here. Even if it was under false pretenses. I just really love the rose garden, the strawberries, and the whole farmer's market on Sunday's date" you looked down a little sadly.
"You're rambling" he chuckled.
"We can't have strawberries back at the compound" you pouted slightly. "And no one would have time to plant or prune the roses"
"Tony hires people to pick up dog poop, you don't think he wouldn't plant a few rose bushes for you?" he chuckled.
"I don't want to ask him" you shook your head.
"I will, I mean, why not?" Bucky kissed you on the cheek. "We can put rose bushes in those little pots right outside our balcony door" he smiled at you. "Problem solved. Now, are you ready to go grocery shopping?" he asked a little more softly.
"I just wanted a moment without my mask" you nodded. You reached over and grabbed it, putting it back on and looked in the mirror briefly to make sure it was on correctly.
"I'll do a sweep when we get home again, don't worry" he kissed you on the cheek as you stood up.

You had more fun than you thought you would as you went out and finished doing the grocery run for the week. Bucky playfully threw different items and gummies into the basket. You found yourself giggling as you went. Bucky would sometimes hang back and hold your hand when you would pause for a moment to look at the nutritional value of some of the boxes. He even went so far as to give you a playful spank when you were alone in the aisle.
"I miss being able to do things like that" Bucky whispered to you after he slapped you playfully.
"I miss you doing things like that" you giggled to yourself and continued down the aisle.
"Are we still on for pizza and cuddles tonight?" he slung his arm over your shoulder.
"I love our pizza and cuddles night" you looked at him.
"We can work on our puzzles tonight, instead of watching a movie for a change" he offered.
"I'd like that" you cooed looking up at him. Making your way to the check out and beginning your journey back home.
