Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Tea party

By the time you had gotten out of the shower, finished doing your hair, and your makeup it was after eleven. Bucky had come into the bathroom and washed up while you were finishing up, and you chanced a quick kiss on the side of his neck as you walked by. He groaned softly and you felt his eyes following you as you made your way into the bedroom naked. You made sure to put more sway into your hips as you moved, and looked over your shoulder to see Bucky standing there looking at you hungrily. You gave him a wink and went to the closet to pull out your dress and put it on the bed.
"There are things you do to a man" Bucky was suddenly behind you, and tracing his fingers along your sides. His head dipped down and his lips brushed against the flesh of your shoulder and he gave it a gentle kiss, with his small bit of beard leaving a scratching feel on your skin.
"We have to get ready" you whispered looking over the same shoulder, and giving him a soft kiss on his stubbled cheek. You didn't want to get ready, you wanted to jump into bed with him just that moment, but the mission came first.
"I know" he gave a resigned sigh and took a step back letting you go to the dresser to grab your panties and bra for the day. You saw a garter and stockings in the drawer and contemplated putting them on for a moment. You knew that would distract you both too much, especially with the way Bucky would look at you when you wore them. You slowly got dressed, and could feel Bucky's eyes on you while you pulled your clothes on. You finally looked over your shoulder and saw him standing in all his glory, half naked in the closet in just a pair of black jeans and watching you hungrily. "I'm taking that off of you tonight" he announced.
"Promises, promises" you giggled, biting your bottom lip, knowing you were baiting him. His eyes staring at you were full of those promises, and you knew he would fulfil it. He reached into the closet and grabbed a white button up and tucked it into his jeans after he put it on. You took slow steps towards him and he gazed at you hungrily. You reached past him, barely inches from his face and you smiled at him. You found the belt you were looking for blindly and pulled it out of the closet and handed it to him. He barely flicked his eyes away from you to take it, and you gave a soft grin. "I'm helping with taking that off tonight" you looked him up and down slowly and he chuckled deep in his chest.
"I'll hold you to it" he whispered leaning forward and kissing you softly on the lips, making you hum happily.
"One thing" you put your hand on his arm and he looked at you questioningly. You leaned forward until your lips were beside his ear and whispered softly "I want the bugs and the camera's out of our house". You pulled back and he looked you in the eyes and nodded in agreement. Last night would have been a better time to get rid of them, but you both had gotten carried away.
"I'll find them tonight then" he whispered in your ear, and gave your earlobe a quick nip and tug before his lips danced along the side of your neck, peppering it in kisses. Your eyes fluttered shut in appreciation for the moment, and you sucked in a breath.
"We don't have enough time" you sighed in discontent.
"It's a dress, I can make time" he spoke huskily in your ear.
"We have to be there soon" you pulled back and pouted slightly.
"Fine, but tonight..." his eyes looked in yours and you knew you were in for another very good night.

"Hello! We are so glad you both made it!" Penelope called over as soon as you and Bucky got to their driveway. Bucky was carrying one of the pies, while you carried the other. You gave a brave smile and a blush while Penelope came over and hugged you quickly. "We just finished setting up lunch and the tea, there's so much to talk about"
"There is?" you asked quickly and looked over your shoulder at Bucky who gave you a gentle smile.
"I'll be out here with the guys my rose, don't worry" he reassured you while Penelope started pulling you towards the front door. You followed her blindly and she led you to her backyard where you saw they had a few flower gardens with daisies, some ground covering, tulips, and one pink rose bush. There was a picnic table set up on their patio ready with sandwiches, four tea cups, and a pot of tea. She took the pie from you and set it on the table and excited pulled you to the table to sit down beside Stephanie, and across from Laura.
"You look so cute" Stephanie cooed to you. You saw they also were wearing dresses. You liked Penelope's which was pink and covered in butterflies, while Laura went with a cream colored dress and Stephanie went with a soft pink dress.
"Thank you, I love all your dresses" you looked down shyly.
"Laura spilled the beans, your having twins?!" Penelope asked quickly and you flushed again.
"I'm just in the first trimester. I'm about six weeks" you admitted gently.
"That's so exciting" Laura smiled happily, and leaning forward. "I'm so glad I had gossip for once" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Laura surprised me with news about the Avengers this morning" you admitted quickly.
"Unfortunately, that might just be gossip" Penelope rolled her eyes. "Newbie and Bucky look like a cute couple though. It's a surprise they kept her a secret for so long"
"Ron hates when we talk about the Avengers in the house" Stephanie pouted. "I like the work that they do to help the world. He says they are all just a bunch of big headed jerks"
"I think what they do is amazing, I mean they fight for the world. I'm not scared about earth being invaded with them on our side" Laura shook her head. "And now they have more on their team. That's pretty exciting"
"You missed it at our last tea party when she was first announced" Penelope giggled. "Laura brought the newspaper just to point out all the pictures. We both think she's secretly started a scrap book she's such a big fan"
"I wanted to, but Dean laughed at me. I keep all the news articles anyways" Laura shrugged. "I'd love to meet Captain hottie" she giggled.
"Captain hottie?" you repeated, wanting to snicker. If only Steve could be here to hear this conversation.
"He's got the nicest ass" Stephanie announced quickly. "I wouldn't mind having Tony's money"
"I'm more a Falcon girl myself, have you seen him?" Penelope giggled and handed you a plate with some sandwiches on it.
"I think Bucky's the cutest of them all" you blushed, knowing Bucky could also probably hear this conversation. "He's got those dreamy eyes"
"I wonder what he could do with that metal arm" Stephanie giggled and you blushed, knowing exactly what all he could do with that arm and how talented it was.
"He also has a very nice body, but he seems like the shy type" you added gently.
"You seem to go for a man that's more outgoing" Penelope looked at you knowingly.
"James is all I'll ever need" you cooed softly.
"We've heard it" Stephanie and Laura said at the same time, and you could feel the blush on your chest, cheeks and ears. They both started laughing while you looked away.
"I didn't know we were that loud" you whispered.
"You left the windows open a few times, the sound travels at night" Stephanie giggled.
"Oh to be young and in love" Penelope sighed happily.
"I am very much in love with my husband" you smiled and took a bite of your sandwich. You chewed on the bread carefully, enjoying the light lunch for a change. The girls continued to talk about gossip from around the neighborhood but you didn't hear anything that really sparked your attention or sounded suspicious enough to warrant an investigation. You pondered silently how Bucky was doing with the boys, and if he was making any headway with finding out about the guns. You waited until dessert to go back into the conversation. They were complimenting your baking skills and you flushed a bit while muttering a thank you. You were trying to find a way to bring up guns into the conversation.
"Melody, what's eating you?" Stephanie asked.
"I've been trying to find a new gun for my James for his collection. I've looked online, and I've looked in the store, but I can't find something unique" you sighed heavily.
"Wrong company to bring that up honey, that's the boy's shop talk" Penelope grinned.
"I just wanted to surprise him before the babies come. He loves his collection" you sighed a little loud.
"Ron has a pretty big collection, but I don't know where he gets it all from" Stephanie shrugged. "I can ask him. Maybe he knows some good websites, or stores to go to" she gave a smile.
"I'd love that, thank you so much!" you nodded appreciatively. She didn't know it, but she just made him more of a target for you and Bucky to look into. "You know, you look familiar" you looked at Stephanie.
"She's from a rich family, maybe related to your uncle" Laura grinned and took a sip of her tea.
"Ron and I keep separate bank accounts, its part of our pre-nup" she shrugged. "So, I know I married for love, and he didn't marry me for my money" she gave a smile.
"Interesting" you finished your pie and went to sip at your tea.
"Are you looking forward to the farmers market again tomorrow?" Penelope asked quickly.
"We are!" you sat up quickly. "We ate all of the fruits and vegetables we bought last week. The fridge is starting to look empty. James likes to go eat at the food trucks instead of eating at home, so I really look forward to that. I can eat as many strawberry flavored things I want" you giggled.
"Is he allergic to strawberries?" Penelope seemed confused.
"No, its just a going tradition that I go for strawberry and chocolate flavored things. James normally gets the same thing as me" you gave a dreamy look.
"How's our ladies doing?" Morgan came into the backyard and went and kissed Penelope on the cheek.
"Just finishing up, talking about the farmers market tomorrow" Penelope let him know quickly.
"Are you ready, my rose?" Bucky's eyes studied you closely as he came over. You shivered in anticipation of his touch, and he leaned down and gave you a swift kiss on the lips. You had the good sense to blush a bit and smiled broadly at him.
"You have an interesting husband" Dean went to Laura and looked at you with a soft smile.
"He keeps me on my toes" you cooed and kissed Bucky on the lips for good measure. He chuckled and reached for the pie plate.
"Did you enjoy your tea?" he spoke gently, but you knew everyone was listening. You nodded and bit your bottom lip, and your gaze went to his lips.
"I did" you breathed.
"Good, lets do this again next week" Penelope piped up.
"Maybe our house next time" Bucky offered. "My rose works on her garden all the time we would love to have you all over"
"Oh and we can see miss Daisy and mister Alpine, you'll just love them" Laura cooed and you saw Ron grimace. He was moving with a bit of a limp, and wanted to give Daisy more treats just for the effort.
"Are you sure your okay with it?" Penelope asked you quickly and you nodded with a broad smile.
"I'd love to show off my garden my loving husband got for me" you stood up. "I'll make some pie again"
"Great, I'll bring the tea" Laura smiled. "Earl grey next week ladies" she grinned.
"I'll bring the sandwiches" Penelope announced.
"I'll find something to bring" Stephanie grinned.
"You always do" Penelope giggled.
"I'd better get my rose home" Bucky started leading you away, and you waved at the group before you both left. "Ron is our target, I'm pretty sure" he whispered in your ear as you started walking across the street to your house.
"You're damn right" you nodded and leaned into him as you continued walking.
