Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Swimming & Dancing

When you got back to the compound, Happy was first up to start cleaning out the trunk of the larger items, meaning your record player. You grabbed all of your other bags, feeling a bit overloaded and knew you had to make another trip. Wanda, Nat and Pepper looked like they would only need the one trip. Happy passed by you while you were coming in the door, laden down with all your bags.
"Don't worry, I've got the rest" he promised you.
"Thank you Happy" you smiled at him with relief. You hurried to your room and dropped off the bags on your bed unceremoniously and gave a sigh as Happy came in with the last of your packages.
"Thank you Happy" you gave a smile. You quickly went to the record player, and took it out of the box before placing it on the table. You excitedly plugged it in, and went to put in the first record. Music filled the room, and you smiled happily. You heard a yowl and turned to see your balcony door opening as Daisy, Alpine and Bucky came in.
"Hey doll" Bucky took in the amount of bags on the bed, and chuckled coming over to you. The song playing was a slow one, and he grabbed you by the waist, and took your hand putting you into a turn and started slow dancing with you around the room. You giggled and leaned into him with a smile. "I haven't heard music like this in years" his voice rumbled through the room. He dipped you back, and you heard Daisy continue to yip waiting for attention.
"I did what you asked me to do, I spoiled myself today" you smiled at him shyly. He pulled you close and leaned down to give you a soft kiss on the lips.
"Its about damn time" he smiled against your lips. He leaned forward and started to kiss you again before you both felt Daisy jump up and hit you both on the side. You giggled and took a step back and picked her up.
"Did you have a good day with Uncle Bucky?" you asked her giving her a kiss between the ears. She proceeded to lick you all over the face.
"We've been outside almost all day" Bucky admitted. "Steve and I kept throwing the ball, but she didn't want to stop"
"Playing ball is her favorite" you smiled widely at him, and put Daisy down and she ran for a drink of water. You gave Alpine a few pats and a scratch behind the ears.
"Can I look at the records you got?" he asked with a huge smile.
"Of course" you nodded, and went to grab some of the bags to put them away. You were in the middle of hanging up your new night gowns when you heard another record put on, and it was another slow song. You popped your head out of the closet and couldn't help biting your bottom lip watching Bucky enjoying himself going through your records. "You can come in and listen to them while I'm gone" you offered.
"It's just been so long, it brings back some good memories" he looked over his shoulder at you with a smile. You saw Steve coming in the door with a huge grin on his face.
"I haven't heard music like this in years" Steve grinned ear to ear.
"Come on in" you called and went back to hanging up your nightgowns. You put away your new undergarments and sighed to yourself knowing Nat or Wanda would be coming to your room soon. They had said in the car once they were done putting everything away they expected you to come swimming until supper. You went and grabbed some more of the bags and headed back into the closet to put your new clothes away. You were surprised at how much you had spent. You put in a pair of the red rose earrings and looked in the mirror deciding you liked them. You frowned seeing that you would need a jewelry box now that you had so many accessories. The last bag on the bed was your swimsuits and you came back out to go grab it. Bucky seemed to be waiting, and grabbed you for another slow dance around the room. You flushed seeing Steve was looking at the records and patting Daisy. He continued to sway you slowly and hummed happily to the music and leaned down giving you a kiss on the cheek.
"You surprise me daily doll" Bucky whispered to you.
"I like the sound from a record player" you admitted.
"I like the new earrings" he grinned. "What are we doing until supper?"
"I've been promised to the girls, but your free to join" you felt him dip you back.
"After supper, I have plans for us" his eyes glittered with promise. "Especially if I have to share" he chuckled, and put you in a turn. Wanda opened the door and smiled happily.
"You're not changed yet?" she demanded after a moment. She was standing in her red bikini, holding a towel.
"No, I've been busy" you giggled as Bucky put you in another turn, ignoring the fact that Wanda walked in further.
"I told you it was a good idea to get the record player. You've wanted it for so long" she walked over and grabbed the bag for you.
"I'm not wearing that" you shook your head, knowing what she was going for.
"Wear the white one then, but hurry up. We are waiting on you, and the boys are already coming in and taking up space" Wanda handed you the white swimsuit and Bucky finally let you go.
"Come on punk, we gotta get our swimsuits on" Bucky called over, and grabbed Alpine. Steve nodded putting the records down and quickly following him out.
"You should wear the bikini" Wanda sighed dramatically. "But I know your mind is made up. Its not like you can surprise me" you could almost feel the dare coming from her.
"I'll meet you there" you took the bag and went into the bathroom. You took out the bikini and looked at it seriously for a moment. You finally shook your head and put on the red swimsuit. It was plenty revealing enough. The dip itself went below your breasts, and it barely covered your bottom completely. You put on the coverup and walked out to see Wanda grinning.
"You at least considered it" she said in her thick accent before grabbing your hand.
"Come on Daisy" you called, and she yipped launching herself off the bed and following you out the door. You were glad that Steve remembered to turn off the record player before he left.
