Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

The test

When you got home, Bucky insisted on bringing everything in while you put the groceries away. You turned on some music and sang as you danced around the kitchen and Daisy barked happily between your feet while Bucky made multiple trips into the house. When Bucky dropped off the last of the bags he grabbed you and started dancing with you in the kitchen with a huge smile on his face. He put you into a dip and kissed you softly on the lips.
"Do you have to pee?" he looked at you expectantly as he pulled back.
"That was so romantic" you laughed and took a moment to pause and look at him.
"Do you need some water?" he grinned holding both of your hands and licking his lips in anticipation.
"I read online its better to try it first thing in the morning" you giggled.
"Its been two months you haven't had a period" he bit his bottom lip.
"I haven't shown any signs" you shook your head.
"Humor me" he leaned in so he was close to you, and smiled.
"This can change everything" you whispered.
"This will change nothing" he whispered back.
"I'm too nervous" you kept your voice hushed.
"I'm not" he brushed his lips against yours. "I've always wanted kids, since I was a kid. I can only imagine them with you" he kissed you softly. "The only woman I've ever seen taking this step with" he continued. He handed you the paper bag with all the pregnancy tests in it and you gave a small smile to him, and ran up the stairs. You heard him chuckle and follow you up the stairs.
"Check your email, this takes at least five minutes" you went into the bathroom and closed the door.
"I want to be in there with you" you heard him right outside the door.
"You realize if this is negative, you are just going to have to try harder" you giggled as you took out the test and started following the instructions. You finished and put the test to the side with the cap back on, and went to wash your hands. You sat on the side of the tub when the door opened and Bucky came in and sat beside you and put his arm around you.
"Is this the one to two week one?" he asked with an arched eyebrow.
"Yeah, I figured it would be the best one to start with" you nodded.
"Shouldn't you take two tests, just in case of a false positive or negative?" he asked gently.
"You need to leave, it's a good idea" you nodded, and grabbed another test.
"I'm standing outside the door" he announced.
"Stop listening to me pee" you blushed as you closed the door behind him.
"Its not like I haven't heard you pee before" he chuckled. "I have really good hearing" he reminded you and you blushed. You followed the instructions and forced yourself to go before putting the cap back on and washing your hands again. You put both tests down beside each other and opened the door and saw Bucky standing there with a huge grin on his face.
"You really want this" you realized.
"With you" he nodded and came in and wrapped his arms around you.
"We need to time for five minutes" you warned him.
"Already set it on my phone" his voice rumbled against you. You felt him reach down to your thighs and you jumped up wrapping your legs around his waist and you both gazed into each other's eyes. He leaned forward and claimed your lips softly. You loved the way his lips moved against yours, and how he seemed to know exactly how to rub his tongue against yours so naturally. You gave a soft moan, and he sat down on the bed, continuing to kiss you like he would never stop.
You heard the beep of an alarm and Bucky pulled back and grinned at you excitedly. He picked you up and carried you into the bathroom and you both looked down at the tests. One was positive, and one was negative.
"One of them is wrong" you felt your stomach go into knots. You were excited for a moment.
"Tomorrow I'll take you to the doctor's office in the morning, and bring you home by lunch. We will get the right answer" Bucky decided.
"I could just take another test, we bought a bunch" you shrugged, feeling a little let down.
"We both know you'll doubt it until you talk to a doctor" he whispered. "Especially with two different answers"
"Bruce would be able to check so quick" you whispered back and watched as Bucky put the two tests into the trash.
"We will wait until tomorrow" he touched the side of your cheek and gave you a swift kiss on the lips.
"I'll have you back in time for your tea date" he promised.
"I am looking forward to that" you gave a small smile.
"Let me make supper tonight" he took a step back.
"You burned soup" you giggled.
"I'll order in pizza" he decided. "We can snuggle on the couch, watch some tv, go to bed early" he leaned down and kissed the side of your neck and you giggled.
"Okay, order pizza. You have pretty good idea's" you admitted. "I'll check my emails really quick while you order"
"I'll check mine from my phone, why don't you come downstairs and we can just both check on our phones" he shrugged.
"Do I get extra kisses?" you asked expectantly.
"You can have all the kisses you want" Bucky grinned and pulled you close giving you a soft kiss on the lips. "Come on" he picked you up easily and carried you down the stairs. You giggled and nuzzled into him as he set you on the couch.

"Pizza is ordered" Bucky flopped down back beside you on the couch after he had ran Daisy outside. "Now we wait" he continued, and pulled you in close. You were snuggling Alpine, who meowed in protest.
"I feel so naughty ordering in a pizza" you giggled, and opened up your emails reading through them. You had a new one for today from Tony. It was about the roses were wilting which meant that someone had come into the house. You had a feeling that this was going to happen from the way Ron was asking questions. He made sure to also mention blue roses and yellow roses which meant there was only someone on the main floor, and the house was bugged. "Did you check your emails my love?" you looked to Bucky.
"Not yet, I was just about to get to it. I wanted to snuggle my rose for a bit" he pulled you up on his lap and you let go of Alpine who jumped down and went towards the stairs. He started kissing down the side of your neck, and you let out an appreciative moan.
"My uncle wrote to me that his blue and yellow roses are wilting" you wiggled in his lap a bit.
"You should write him back some tips on how to take care of that" he paused for a moment and opened up his phone and you saw him read over an email from Tony about cars. You saw him frown a bit, and nod to you. "Did you want a drink?" he set you to the side, making you pout a little bit.
"Just water" you smiled at him. "If we are trying for a baby, I need to be careful" you blushed a bit. You leaned forward and started feeling around under the coffee table and found one of the bugs. "James, do you think I should fertilize the garden again tomorrow afternoon? I know I have laundry to do, but I want to make sure that there's no more wilting"
"You know what's best my rose. I was thinking about helping to remodel one of the cars down at the shop tomorrow" Bucky smirked from the kitchen, and you saw him pointing to another bug in the kitchen. You saw him checking the dining room and smirked and pointed to another one. You gave a nod and pointed out the one you found.
"If you are going to be late coming home, just give me a call. I know you like a hot supper" you felt Daisy to jump up beside you. "I was looking online for something to add to your collection"
"Rose, you don't need to buy me another gun" he came back and handed you a bottle of water while he opened his beer.
"I wanted to get you something unique. We have the money, and I just want you to have bragging rights with the guys" you sighed heavily, trying to play the part as best you could. You moved away from Daisy and crawled onto Bucky's lap, and he quickly set his beer down, right above where the bug was. You put your hands on his shoulders, and put your legs on either side of his. You tightened your grip around his neck and leaned in and you brushed your lips against his softly. He gave a soft sigh and leaned in more to brush his lips against yours again. You smiled and nipped at his bottom lip and pulled him in more so you could deepen the kiss. He moaned appreciatively as you took charge of the kiss, and you felt your tongues go into a dance. You moved slightly on his lap, grinding in and you felt him pull back slightly to give you a moment to take a breath. He pulled you in more and continued to kiss you with wild abandon.
"Maybe we can forget about the pizza" he pulled back after a while, looking at you hungrily.
"I am pretty hungry" you started kissing down the side of his neck, nipping softly at his weak spots.
"Not as hungry as I am for you" he responded easily and you heard the doorbell. You heard him groan, and you slipped off of his lap and ran to the door. You grabbed the pizza, and handed the delivery man a generous tip before heading back to the living room and putting the pizza on the table.
"Thank you" Bucky grinned at you.
"You paid for it, I just gave the tip" you shrugged and sat back beside him again.
"Did you want to go upstairs instead?" he looked at you hopefully.
"After I eat, you promised a movie tonight" you reminded him and he groaned again. You gave a small giggle and handed him a slice of pizza, before turning on the tv. You selected The hunger games and sat back while taking a slice of pizza for yourself.
"This isn't the most romantic movie" he chuckled from beside you.
"I can get you back in the mood" you winked at him.
"I'm already in the mood, have you seen you?" he leaned over and pinched you slightly on the butt.
"Have you seen you? I'm always ready for you James" you purred.
"Finish your pizza, we can watch the movie tomorrow" he looked at you with promise. You giggled again, and fed Daisy the crust before grabbing another slice.
