Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

His favorite distraction

When you woke up again, Bucky was carrying you out of the hot tub and Steve handed him a towel for you. You gave a small yawn and wrapped your arms around his neck, and nuzzled in as he set you on your feet and dried you off. You saw Nat give you a smirk while she dried off beside Steve. Once you were fairly dry, Bucky started working on himself. Daisy gave a small bark and you giggled as she jumped at Bucky as if she wanted to be picked up. He smirked and dipped down to pick her up and she danced away.
"I think someone wants to play" you giggled.
"I'll go take her out for a bit" Nat smirked. "The boys have a sparring match from my understanding"
"And I have baking to do" you sighed and headed towards your locker. You put your clothes back on top and Bucky came over to kiss your cheek.
"I'll be in the gym" he warned you. "In case you need me"
"I always need you" you flirted and he flushed a bit.
"In that case, I always need you too" he leaned in looking you up and down slowly. You started blushing, knowing what he was thinking about.
"Come on Jerk" Steve called to him as they started heading out the door. Bucky started pouting and decided to follow, but not before giving you a lingering kiss on the lips. You followed him out and started towards the kitchen, taking your phone out of your pocket and looking forward to making some more treats.

Once you were in the kitchen you turned up your music loudly as you started pulling out all the supplies that you needed, deciding to start with cookies first since those went so quickly. You made a batch that would make over a hundred cookies again and started putting them on pans while you sang and danced easily around the kitchen. Once they were in the oven, you started on pie crusts and the fillings again. You lost track of time as you went from one task to the next, making sure none of the cookies burnt. You didn't bother checking the time. Once you had almost ten pies ready for the oven, you started on another batch of salted caramel cookies, since they had seemed popular. You barely registered as Happy came into the room with a grin on his face. You set everything out on pans, waiting on the oven to be ready for the last of the chocolate chip cookies.
"I think we need another oven with you around" Happy chuckled looking at the kitchen completely covered in items ready to go in the oven.
"When did you get home?" you asked in surprise.
"Not too long ago" he sat down on one of the stools and you sipped at your coffee as you watched the oven. "I'll help you with this tonight, we already ordered in some Greek food instead" he warned you, and you nodded going to the fridge to grab your protein drink and gulping it down quickly.
"I almost forgot" you admitted.
"I'm glad you didn't, I almost asked you" he grinned.
"I remembered this morning" you yawned a bit, and pulled cookies out of the oven, and put in the last of the batch, putting the cooked ones on the cooling rack.
"Lets get some of these into the freezer" Happy went and started grabbing Tupperware containers and filling them. "I'll leave a bunch out though; they go pretty fast" he smirked and you gave a small giggle. "Did you want to put the pies in next or the rest of the cookies?" he asked quickly.
"I was hoping to have some of the pies ready for dessert" you admitted. "But I lost track of time. I guess I'll continue with the cookies, and save the pies for tomorrow night"
"Looks like we are almost out of flour again" Happy looked amused. "I'll order more ingredients to be dropped off tomorrow. Supper should be here in twenty minutes, why don't you leave this with me, and go have a seat"
"Thank you Happy" you gave a smile, and Daisy followed you out onto the balcony and you laid across the swing, looking down and watching the grass. She easily went down the stairs and went to pee before she came back up to snuggle into you on the swing. You just started dozing off when you heard the door open, and you sat up quickly to see Steve standing there grinning.
"Buck's on his way, he had to go get changed" he informed you. "You ready to eat?"
"Yeah" you nodded and followed him inside.

You barely were in your chair, when you felt someone push you in and turned to see a smiling Bucky wearing jeans and a red t-shirt and you smiled at him.
"Thank you" you flushed. "You look handsome" you observed.
"I'm taking my best girl out for a drive" he winked at you.
"Who's that?" you teased.
"Only you" he got in his seat and leaned over giving you a kiss.
"I don't remember anything being planned" you giggled.
"Since I had to share you today, I had to come up with something" he teased and you flushed.
"I'm already taking care of the rest of the baking" Happy announced.
"Those heathens got into the fresh cookies again" Nat growled.
"There's over two hundred cookies, there should be plenty" you shook your head in surprise.
"We might have stole some and brought it into the lab when you had your back turned" Bruce grinned.
"Its fine, I made plenty. We are almost out of flour, so that's going to be it for baking for a while" you admitted.
"Did you remember to make pie for Laura and the kids?" Clint looked up expectantly.
"I made two for them" you nodded. "I made ten pies this time, so there's no way we are going to go through that many"
"I'll bring it home Friday" he grinned. "They'll love it"
"So, where is the big date going to be Friday?" Loki asked you directly and you blushed.
"It's a secret" you glared at him, knowing he was already in your head finding all the secrets he wanted.
"Don't forget there's always the paparazzi" he warned you. "You may want to try to keep a low profile"
"I'll keep that in mind" you gave a small smile.
"Yeah, we had to keep your first date photos out of the paper. You looked cute kissing the café" Tony brought it up and you blushed a deep red.
"How did they get pictures of us?" you stammered.
"People always have their phones" he shrugged.
"Can you send me those pictures?" Bucky grinned.
"Me too" you continued to blush. "I'd like to see them"
"I want to put one up in my bedroom if it looks good" he winked at you. "Maybe your room too" he added and you almost dropped your fork.
"Its not a secret he hasn't been sleeping in his room for a while" Loki shrugged.
"That's true, but its been helping with your nightmares" Wanda added.
"We have a couple suite ready for you two, when you're both ready" Tony added and got a swat from Pepper.
"Let them move at their own pace" she admonished him.
"Its something to talk about later" Bucky nodded to them, his cheeks slightly red.
When you finished your meal, Happy put out enough cookies to satisfy the entire team, and you took one while you saw everyone else taking a few and munching happily on them. You had a sense of pride that they liked them.
"You ready?" Bucky looked at you expectantly.
"I need to change" you admitted. "I'm still in my swimsuit"
"I can wait" he shrugged, grabbing both your plate and his own before coming back and pulling out your chair for you. You got up and waved to the others while following Bucky back to your room. He went to his room, and you knew instinctively there was flowers coming again. You took a quick shower, seeing as he did say he could wait, and put on a pair of tight blue jeans and a low cut white top with matching powder blue lace bra and panties. You put on your leather jacket and a pair of red sneakers, changing your earrings to white again. When you came out of your closet Bucky was waiting with another vase full of blue roses this time and he gave you a grin.
"They're beautiful. You're spoiling me" you walked over and kissed him softly.
"Only the best for my dame" he took your hand and kissed your knuckles. "Come on, we are taking the motorcycle since your wearing jeans" he grinned.
"Where are we going?" you peered at him curiously.
"It's a surprise" he shrugged taking you hand and leading you out. You saw Daisy was playing in the hallway with Steve who just waved to both of you as you walked out the front door.

Bucky went through the city again, and you grinned as he stopped at central park near the ice cream truck again. You took off your helmet as you jumped off, and he went to get you both your ice creams. You couldn't help the smile on your face as he handed you yours, and held out his arm for you to take as you both started walking along the path eating your ice creams.
"I figured you might be getting stir crazy being inside for so long" he finally spoke out loud.
"You were right, you seem to know me well" you blushed.
"You looking forward to starting in the gym again on Monday?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, very much so. And a morning jog, I miss those terribly" you nodded.
"Well, it's a good thing I can be your alarm clock now" he winked at you and you flushed a bit. "I heard about a possible long term mission that Steve was talking about. They are thinking of sending a pair out for recon, but they have to pose as a couple in this small gated community. There seems to be someone who might be trafficking weapons there. The mission is to infiltrate and figure out who it is. They have a few suspects" he looked to you. "It would be after the base takedown, but the mission might be for a month or so"
"I wonder who they will pick" you hummed to yourself.
"I thought we could volunteer" he had a small blush on his cheeks. "It's a married couple gig, but it could be fun. We already have the dog to make it look legitimate"
"I've never brought Daisy on a mission before" you admitted softly.
"I've never brought Alpine, but it might be fun" he pulled you in closer as he finished his ice cream.
"It could be fun" you nodded. "I've never posed as a married person before, its always been bases. This would be undercover?" you looked to him. "What if we get caught?"
"They'll pull us out pretty quickly. Wanda and Vision did it once, same with Bruce and Nat" he gave a smile.
"It would be a good disguise if we have pets" you nodded.
"So, do you mind if I put our names in?" he looked to you expectantly.
"I don't mind, like you said, it could be fun" you finished your ice cream and leaned more into him. "What would our cover be?"
"You would be the loving housewife, I'll probably get some undercover office job or mechanic job" he shrugged. "Whatever Tony finds"
"Will there be camera's in the house?" you arched an eyebrow.
"They'll regret it if there is" he chuckled. "It would be nice to have you to myself, without people coming in and out of the room all the time"
"You mean visitors?" you giggled.
"I can't believe that punk interrupted us this morning" he shook his head.
"He knew you would wake up" you smiled. "He came to get you and Daisy, you were running behind"
"I didn't want to go for a run this morning" he pouted and gave you a cute face and you leaned up and kissed him on the cheek.
"You always enjoy your morning run" you reminded him. "You must have been doing them for years" you added.
"You are my favorite distraction" he chuckled, pulling you closer and giving you a soft kiss on the lips.
"Would that mission be such a great idea, if I'm so distracting to you?" you nipped at his bottom lip.
"I can concentrate on a mission" he promised, and leaned in to deepen the kiss. "Especially if its you I get to come home to" he pulled back when he was done, flirtatiously licking his top lip and biting his bottom lip. "So are you going to tell me about this surprise date?"
"I can't, it's a surprise" you grinned. "You should like it" you smiled at him, taking his hand and kissing him on the knuckles. "I want it to be special" you reached up and touched his cheek.
"Every moment I spend with you is special" he grinned. "You ready to head back?" he gave you a wink, and looked you up and down slowly and you clenched your thighs together.
"I'm always ready for you" you flushed, knowing it was a double entendre.
"That's the way I like it" he leaned down and kissed you hungrily, pulling you closer by the hips. You hummed appreciatively, and heard him do the same. He started to kiss a trail down your neck and nipped on your earlobe. You giggled and pulled back.
"We are in public" you reminded him.
"I can't help it, have you met you?" he grinned.
"Let me take a picture" you took out your phone and took a selfie of the two of you smiling. Before you put your phone down, he leaned down and started kissing your cheek and making his way down again. You slightly closed your eyes looking back at him with a smile and took another few photos before you managed to kiss him on the lips again.
"Let me get you home, I'll run out Daisy if she hasn't been out already" he sighed and started leading you back to the motorcycle.
