Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Little moments**

"They seem like a lovely couple" you smiled at Bucky while you started taking the asparagus and steak out of the fridge for supper. You spied a cold beer and opened it, and smiled as you handed it to Bucky. He smirked and took a drink of it. You pulled a bottle of wine out and poured yourself a glass while you started prepping supper. Bucky took a spot at the counter and just watched you with a grin on his face.
"Daisy probably needs to go pee" you smiled at him while you started searing the steaks on the stove.
"I'm busy, did you know your ass looks great in that dress" he quipped and you turned to grin at him. He chuckled and called for Daisy to bring her to the back yard. You made quick work of supper, adding mushrooms and onions for flavoring as well as some spices, and finished the asparagus the way you liked it. You had also boiled the potatoes and mashed them while Bucky was still outside. You could hear him talking to Dean next door about his gun collection and rolled your eyes. He was so into character already. You tried to seem as meek as possible when they came to the door. You weren't sure if you sold it or not. You took the time to set the table and put everything on serving dishes, noting he still wasn't back yet. You drank down your wine, and poured another glass and set it on the table before going into the back yard. You saw Daisy waiting by the back door, but Bucky wasn't visible.
"Come on Daisy, I'll put your food down" you brought her in and filled both her dishes and Alpines. You started moving towards the front of the house, and heard Bucky in the garage with Dean and it sounded like he was bragging about his guns. You opened the door from the house into the garage and saw with satisfaction there was cabinets everywhere, Bucky already had them open and was showcasing his vast collection and explaining each piece like a pro.
"I'm so sorry my rose, I forgot about supper" Bucky looked up at you, and gave you one of his big smiles.
"I know how excited you get about your guns and your cars" you bit your bottom lip. "Supper is getting cold"
"We should talk again soon, I have a collection too. A lot of the guys in the neighborhood do. They would love to see this" Dean waved as he left. Bucky quickly locked everything up and closed the garage door.
"You left my Daisy in the backyard alone" you crossed your arms.
"She was playing with her ball, and I didn't think we would be that long. I'm sorry" he came over and hugged you. "I promise, I wont do it again" he gave you a kiss on the cheek.
"Come on, supper really is getting cold" you led him back inside and he went and took his spot at the head of the table.
"I'll do dishes" Bucky volunteered, and you looked at him for a moment.
"Is the mask waterproof?" you whispered.
"I'll just take it off, if someone comes to the door just buy me time to get it back on" he whispered back. "This is really good, I'm going to love living here" he hummed happily as he dug into his meal. You flushed a bit and started eating as well. "I'm the luckiest man alive" he groaned as he ate quickly. You flushed a little and continued eating slowly. You took a sip of your wine and saw that he went for seconds.
"Do you know how to use a bar-b-que?" you finally whispered.
"Yes doll, there are some things that Tony lets me cook. I just can't seem to do well in the kitchen" he whispered back. You giggled remembering him trying to make you soup and he smoked out the kitchen when you were injured.

As soon as you were done eating, you put all the dishes in the kitchen and brought out the cupcakes for you both to share. Bucky fed you one, purposely getting icing on your face, then leaned forward and licked it off with a huge grin. You couldn't help but giggle at his antics. You both finished the cupcakes together, and Bucky went into the kitchen to do all the dishes while you went and turned on the news while still sipping your second glass of wine.
Once Bucky was done he came in and smiled at you proudly, and you noticed that he had his arm mask back on.
"Want to take a walk around the neighborhood?" you asked, gesturing to the dog leash hanging up by the front door.
"We do need to make ourselves known" he said after a moment. You knew he wanted to stay in, but you both knew you had to set a routine early while on the mission.
"Was I meek enough?" you whispered.
"Yes, you did it perfectly. Dean asked if you were always that shy" Bucky whispered back with a wink.
"Come on my sexy husband" you giggled standing up. Bucky stood up quickly and grabbed you by the hips and pulled you back against him. He leaned down and kissed you on the side of the neck.
"Just a reminder, we are going to bed early tonight" he spoke in a deep voice.
"You do have work in the morning" you breathed.
"I don't plan on sleeping" he growled a bit, and nipped at your earlobe. You giggled and squirmed out of his hold and went to get the dog leash.
"Come on Daisy" you called and she came running over. You easily clipped on the leash, and grabbed the doggy bags and Bucky took them, and put them in his pocket.
"I'll get that" he kissed your cheek again and you leaned into him. He grabbed the housekeys and followed you outside.
