Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Getting ready

You had giggled at the thought that he had wanted to kiss you for as long as you wanted to kiss him, but made no comment. He helped you get your laundry out, and helped you fold your clothes without asking, standing closer than necessary however you didn't mind.
"How about we go for a drive tomorrow?" Bucky asked gently and you looked at him with flushed cheeks. "A date" he cleared his throat. "We can go get a coffee, or some ice cream... take a walk"
"You sure you want to go on a date with me?" you raised an eyebrow, thinking this was too good to be true.
"Yes doll" he nodded, and turned to touch your cheek with his flesh hand gazing into your eyes. "Very much so"
"What if you decide this isn't what you want, and it makes things awkward here with the team?" you bit your bottom lip uncertainly.
"I already decided on what I want" his eyes darkened. "I'm not about to change my mind now that I've had a taste of it"
"I'll go" you finally nodded. If anything, it would be better than the disappointment you were used to, and he didn't seem like the kind of guy that would stand you up. He was a gentleman.
"I would wear your jeans, we are taking the motorcycle" he leaned down and kissed you on top of your head.
"I'm looking forward to it" you grinned looking up at him, and you saw his eyes trained on your lips again. He groaned slightly and went to go get the rest of the laundry that was still in the dryer. You both folded your laundry in silence, and when you were done yours, you helped him with his. You carefully put everything in to your baskets the way you sorted them in the first place so you would have an easier time putting it all away. Bucky carried two of your three baskets and he carried his own bedding while leading you back to your room. When you opened your door he walked in and set your baskets down close to the closet and gave you a smirk.
"Right after lunch tomorrow, don't forget we have a date" he grinned at you.
"I'm looking forward to it Bucky bear" you flushed biting your bottom lip and he groaned again.
"Its hard to not kiss you when you do that" he took a few steps away with his eyes darkened. "I'm trying to be a gentleman"
"You're doing a fine job Handsome" you winked at him, licking your lips.
"I'm going to go before I get myself into trouble. Don't forget me doll" he winked at you and strode out of the room.

After putting your laundry away, your brain was in a damn tizzy. That's right, a full set of squirrels were running around in your brain and in your stomach, and it was all thanks to the gorgeous man next door having kissed you and asking you on a real date. You appreciated a man that took charge, but damn... he really knew how to play you like a fiddle. All you could think about was the way his hands felt on your skin, or the way that he held you during the movies. Maybe it was the way that he kissed you, and you had enjoyed it so much that you actually moaned. The fact that he moaned too was just out of this world. You wanted to hear it again, so badly. You wanted him to kiss you again, that was for damn sure. You thought about the date, and couldn't even decide on what to wear. It was the first date you actually wanted to go on in a very long time.
You went to lunch, and could barely talk the entire time your brain was on high alert. You noticed Bucky kept looking at you with a large smile on his face. You sat a little closer to him than you normally would and listened aptly when he would talk to anyone, but kept conversation to yourself. You kept thinking about the way he kissed you, and the way it felt so good. Once you were done you hurried back to your room.
Trying to get your head straightened out you went and started to fill the tub, your mind was still on Bucky. You really hoped he didn't stand you up. He didn't seem like the type, but your self doubt started to creep in. You got in and soaked thoroughly before shaving and then jumping in the shower to wash down and make sure your hair was washed and conditioned. You jumped out and went and started on nail polish, going with a dusty rose to match the dress the girls had brought up earlier. You waited for them to dry before styling your hair in long loose curls with large hoop earrings. You went for a night time dramatic look for your eyes, and a dark red for your lips. You put on some body spray that left some sparkles along your chest before going into your closet and putting on your satin and lace dress with a pair of black pumps and your black leather jacket. You looked in the mirror and made sure you looked presentable before realizing that it was supper time. You kicked off your heels and the leather jacket realizing you also had to take Daisy back out and rushed to supper.
Bucky stood up as you came in, pulling out your chair and his jaw went slack.
"Wow doll" he grinned looking you up and down.
"Someone cleans up nicely" Nat grinned.
"I wanted to make sure I was ready" you flushed. "I forgot I need to take out Daisy after supper"
"I can take her out for you" Bucky offered immediately.
"No, I can't ask you to do that" you shook your head, blushing a little.
"It's no trouble, I wanted to take a walk after" he smiled.
"You can come with me; I just have to put on sneakers. Maria will probably be up in my closet forever anyways" you shrugged.
"It's a date" he grinned, and flushed a bit when Steve and Sam looked at him quickly. Nat, Wanda and Pepper made eyes at each other.
You ate supper as quickly as you could, knowing Maria would just show up at any point.
"We are coming to your room to finish getting ready" Nat stood up in a short black dress, and you saw Bruce smile as he checked her out.
"I brought my makeup bag" Wanda stood up as well dressed in a knee length red halter dress.
"You can use some of mine too" you offered as you stood up.
"I'll come with you so we can grab Daisy" Bucky stood up quickly and took your plate as well as his putting them in the kitchen.
"Thank you handsome" you winked at him.
"I see this kitten doesn't scratch everyone" Loki teased. You flushed a little, and turned to lead the girls back to your room. You went into the bathroom to quickly re-do your lipstick and when you came out Bucky was standing there with Daisy's leash. Nat and Wanda rushed into the bathroom, while Maria just came in, gave you slap on the ass on her way to your closet.
"Lookin hot babe" Maria teased.
"Just taking out Miss Daisy" you smiled at her. "Bucky bear is coming with me"
"I'm raiding your closet, as usual" she announced, and you could hear her filtering through all the hangers already.
"Shall we?" Bucky asked as you tied on your running shoes.

You followed Bucky down the stairs, and Daisy seemed to be excited to get down to the grounds. Bucky reached down and unclipped the leash and Daisy took off. You both started walking around the track, and Bucky held out his arm for you to take. You bit your bottom lip, and linked your arm through his as you walked together.
"Are you excited for girls night?" he finally asked.
"Not really" you admitted. "It means too much drinking, and dancing and Maria trying to make me talk to different guys, or sending them my way"
"You can tell her you're going on a date with someone already" Bucky gave you a sly grin.
"I'd rather see how this goes, telling Maria will only make things complicated if it doesn't work out and you change your mind" you spoke softly and gently. "I wont hold it against you, I'm used to it"
"I'm excited to show you I'm not like those other guys" Bucky pulled you in closer, and put his arm over your shoulders.
"Well you are a dying breed of gentleman" you looked up at him.
"You push my limits doll, but I'm trying to stay a gentleman" he winked at you.
"Oh please" you giggled. "I doubt that"
"What if I told you I wanted to kiss you again?" he stopped and turned to face you.
"You wouldn't, we haven't been on our first date yet" you flushed a deep red.
"Its all I'm thinking about" he admitted. "You look perfect all the time, and those lips look kissable"
"I am not against it" you continued to flush. "But I guess you'll have to wait" you winked as you ran your hand across his chest as you walked past him.
"Is that a promise?" he took your hand with his flesh hand and pulled you back to walk beside him.
"I guess we will find out tomorrow" you smiled at him flirtatiously.
"I'd better get you back upstairs before I try to get you to start the date early" he winked at you. "So where is it you're going again?"
"I don't know yet" you shook your head.
"I should find out so I can come buy you a drink" he teased.
"I doubt you can get it out of them" you giggled again as he started leading you back to the stairs. He clipped Daisy back on the leash as he waited for you to lead the way up the stairs.

"You don't wear this enough" Maria came out in a black halter dress that was short and a slit up to her hip. She had already finished her makeup.
"I don't wear it because it shows so much, babe" you shrugged as you came in and Bucky unclipped Daisy's leash as she jumped up on the bed.
"You should show more, you'll get more dates" Maria slipped on a pair of your nude pumps. You smiled at Bucky and he winked at you before walking towards the door.
"Where did you ladies say you were going again?" Bucky paused for a moment.
"That new club they've been advertising" Wanda said offhandedly and let out a yelp when Nat slapped her on the butt.
"No, no showing up" Nat warned him.
"Who said I was showing up?" Bucky grinned. "Besides, wouldn't you ladies prefer to have a few of us there to keep an eye out for you"
"No, if you show up none of us will meet any guys. Aka Y/N and I" Maria huffed.
"I'm not opposed to it" you gave a shy smile.
"Good to know" Bucky slipped out the door with a grin.
"Pepper is on her way" Nat announced as you slipped on your black stilettoes and grabbed your small handbag that was big enough to hold your id, some make up, and money.
"Happy is driving us" Pepper came into the room. "Did you guys keep the location a secret?"
"Wanda let it slip" Maria frowned a little.
"Sorry, not sorry" Wanda smirked and started leading the way out of the bedroom. You saw Bucky was talking to Steve and Sam across the hall, and Sam was already on his phone.
"Lets hurry" Pepper took your hand and led you out of the room.
