Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Interrupted Morning

When you woke up in the morning, you were still encircled in Bucky's arms with Alpine laying above both of your heads purring loudly, and Daisy was curled up against your stomach snoring softly. You could hear Bucky letting out a soft snore as well, and decided to just let him sleep. He definitely earned it after last night. You nuzzled in a little more before you heard a soft knock at the door which woke up Bucky and he pulled you closer. The knock came again and he growled softly.
"What is it Punk?" he finally called out, and you heard the balcony door open a fraction, and felt Bucky pull the blanket up on you a bit more.
"You're late for your run, and Daisy needs to go for her pee. Hurry up jerk" Steve chuckled, and you looked up with a flushed face seeing Steve standing there looking uncomfortable.
"I'm coming, gimme a minute" he growled from behind you. "You woke her up"
"I was already awake" you offered timidly. "Good morning Helpful" your voice was a bit raspy this morning.
"I'll wait for you on the track jerk. Come on Daisy" Steve called, and she jumped off the bed. Bucky leaned forward and gave you a kiss on the back of your neck.
"Good morning doll" he nipped at the skin, giving it another kiss.
"Good morning handsome" you purred.
"I'm gonna kick his ass in sparring today" he announced as he rolled out of bed.
"You'll do no such thing. He worries about you" you giggled watching him walk into the closet. He came out a few minutes later and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. You sat up on the side of the bed with the blanket still wrapped around you and gave him a soft smile as he came out.
"I'll see you at breakfast" Bucky came over and gave you a leisurely kiss on the lips.
"I'll see you at breakfast" you gave a full smile and stood up. He groaned and pulled you in for another kiss, which he automatically deepened. "Steve is waiting" you giggled as the kiss broke.
"So is Sam, probably" he sighed holding you closer and tighter, seeming to try to make the moment last longer. "Okay, I'm going" he finally pulled back and gave you a kiss quickly on the lips. He seemed to pause for a moment wanting to say something more, but thought against it before going out the balcony door.
You hurried into the closet and put on your bikini with a pair of leggings and a white t-shirt with Bucky's brown sweater on top. You hurried down the hallway to the kitchen with your phone in your pocket and walked in and Happy was standing there waiting with a smile on his face. You went and grabbed a cup and made yourself a coffee and sat on one of the stools and watched Happy while he cooked.
"Turn the music on" Happy looked at you with a grin. You pulled your phone out of your pocket and turned up the music a bit louder and he came over handing you the spatula. You saw he was making scrambled eggs and toast, and it smelled like bacon in the oven. You went to finish the eggs while he went to work on the toast. You started singing softly to the music and Happy came over and whispered in your ear.
"A little louder" he teased, and you flushed shaking your head. "Its just us, come on" he grinned, and you started singing a little louder as you cooked. "That's our girl" he went and refilled his own coffee and sat down watching you with a smile. You danced a bit as you went, and didn't notice anyone else come in the kitchen, however Nat had come in with Bruce and they both had big smiles on their faces watching you. Happy shook his head to not interrupt you, and they nodded in understanding. You added scrambled more eggs, putting a bunch into a bowl like Happy always did and continued on. You were almost done with making enough eggs for the entire team when you felt a pair of arms wrap themselves around you and you jumped. You immediately recognized the embrace and leaned back smelling the leather and pine.
"Breakfast smells great" Bucky whispered in your ear.
"Happy likes the help in the morning" you flushed, and cleared your throat.
"I've got the rest Sunshine" Happy came over and took the spatula from you and Bucky kissed you on the cheek. He quickly took your hand and you turned around to see Bruce and Nat seeming to be watching for what looked like a while and you flushed again.
"You're not getting out of karaoke" Nat grinned. "I also spy with my little eye, a bikini" she winked at you.
"I wore it yesterday, and it wasn't as bad as I thought" you were blushing a bright red.
"I can see why Barnes wants to go swimming instead" she chuckled and got up, quickly followed by Bruce.
