"Young Master Hu, please follow this servant," said Shu Bo with a polite bow.

I giggled softly when Hu Xuan's manservant gently pulled his sleeves to bring the young master back into reality. He had been standing there frozen in place for a good thirty seconds, his face blank as if he was daydreaming.

I ignored him and continued walking as if I didn't hear. He doesn't need to know my name and I don't want to entangle with him, so why should I be polite?

I heard him chuckle behind me but I did not stop nor turned back to face him. When I got back to my courtyard, I was beyond exhausted. "Bai Mingling, you just reconfirmed my decision. You deserve to die the most painful death as a homage to my deceased parents. Stay here and suffer from the Day and Night poison, the very same one you had made especially for me," said Xiao Wei with a deadly and beautiful smile.

"No, no...kill me...please...not the Day and Night poison!" screeched the bloodied girl.

Xiao Wei was tired of the screaming and flicked her wrist towards the mad woman. Bai Mingling choked when the pill was propelled into her mouth, her eyes watered and she hoped she would choke to death. But no, instead of release she felt a burning pain in every part of her skin.
