I paced nervously around Peter's room as I waited for him to come back from work.

"Sweetheart," aunt May's soft voice came from the hallway as she knocked on the door, "can I come in?"

I took a deep breath, "yeah, of course."

May came through the door and gave me a small smile, "I made you some tea," she handed me the cup, "you looked really nervous, I thought you might have needed it."

I smiled at her and pressed a kiss to her cheek, "thanks May, you're a life saver," I mumbled as I sipped my tea.

May looked at me for a second before sitting down on Peter's bed and patting the space next to her, "come sit down with me," she smiled encouragingly at me.

I did as told and she wrapped an arm around my shoulders, rubbing my arm comfortingly.

"What's bothering you, sweetheart?" She whispered gently.

I sighed and leaned my head on her shoulder, "there's something I need to tell Peter but I'm not sure how he'll react," I explained.

May kept hugging me to her side, "you want to tell me first so I can help you tell him?" She suggested.

I smiled at her caring nature; May had always been more of a mom to me than my mother, Pete and I had been best friends ever since he had moved in the neighborhood when his parents had gone away when he was 8 years old.

I trusted May more than anyone on this earth, but there was still a nagging feeling in my stomach.

I took a deep breath, "promise you won't be mad?" I whispered.

May pressed a kiss to my temple, "of course I won't," she squeezed my shoulders.

I took in a shaky inhale and reached into my hoodie's pocket, or Peter's hoodie, and showed my hand to May.

May gasped softly and took the pregnancy test in her hands, "you're pregnant?" She whispered.

I nodded, "I'm sorry," I mumbled, "I promise, we've always been safe, we've always used protection, I don't know how this happened, I'm really sorry May," I trailed off.
