"Daddy could I have some more juice please?" Lynn questioned as she held up her empty glass.
Andrew smiled and took the glass from her, "of course baby," he blew her a kiss as he filled up her glass with her favorite juice, "there you go munchkin," he grinned as he passed her the glass, "I like your braid baby, it looks really good."
Lynn grinned and looked back at me, "thanks daddy, y/n made it!" She exclaimed, "she even said she'll teach me how to do it!"
Andrew chuckled at his daughter's excitement, "that's great baby," he smiled and turned towards me, "maybe you could teach me as well," he chuckled against, "Ellie forced me to help her style her hair in college, but I'll admit I'm a bit rusty now."
I laughed as Lynn stared clapping excitedly, "daddy you could practice on y/n, her hair is beautiful!"
Andrew smiled awkwardly and pet Lynn's head affectionately as I laughed, "that's a good idea baby," I smiled, "how about we go and brush your teeth, get you ready in your pjs and then you can help me with the laundry, I'll fold the clothes and you can pair the socks," I laughed as I booped her nose, getting a laugh in response.
As Lynn got down from her stool and tried to pull me down as well I turned to Andrew, "give me fifteen minutes, then il clear the table and load the dishwasher."
Andrew shook his head, "nonsense," he waved his hand in dismissal, "you're a babysitter, not a maid, I can do my own chores," he smiled, "I'll take care of this, just go with her before she pulls your arm out of its socket," he laughed.
I huffed in response, "she might be a three year old, but she has the strength of a thirty year old rugby player."

"Lynn's all set, she's clean, changed, and completely and utterly exhausted," I chuckled as I sat back down, "poor thing was so tired I didn't even need to read her a story."
Andrew smiled, "no offense, but you look a bit exhausted as well, are you sure you're feeling alright?" He questioned as he sat down in front of me.
I smiled and let my hand grab his atop of the table tentatively, "I'm okay," I assured him, "I'm just a bit tired, that's all."
"If you're tired we can rain check, I do t want you to feel obligated to do this," he whispered as he squeezed my hand gently.
I smiled at him and shook my head, "nonsense," I said as I turned my hand around and intertwined our fingers, "I still feel like I'm only dreaming you asked me on a date," I chuckled, "I'm not about to let that go this easily."
Andrew chuckled and brought our hands up to his face, pressing a kiss to the back of my hand, "trust me, I'm the one only dreaming you said yes," he laughed softly that angelic laugh of his, "I've been wanting to ask you on a date for months," he confessed.
"Then why didn't you?" I questioned, catching him off guard.
Andrew sighed, "like I said before, Lynn loves you, you're the only babysitter who actually knows what the hell working with a child means," he chuckled, "you're sweet and gentle, but stern when you need to be, you are kind and funny, you're extremely smart and you are the most beautiful person I've ever met, both inside and out," he declared, "whenever I come back from work she goes on and on about what an amazing day she had with you," he smiled, "I don't want to risk jeopardizing that."
