I was currently sitting on my bed, Andrew's body touching against mine as he laid down, his fingers skimming over the pages of his book as I finished grading one of my student's test.

I sighed as I put down the last of the tests, taking off my glasses and rubbing my eyes tiredly.

Andrew looked up at me and sat up lightly, his hand reaching out and resting gently on my tight, "are you alright darling?"

I nodded, closing my eyes and sighing softly, "I'm just tired," I shrugged lightly.

Andrew shook his head, "darling, I know you," his hand rubbed circles on my skin, "you can certainly be tired, but I hardly think that is all."

I sighed softly, "see this is why I hate we were friends before we started dating," I chuckled, "Andrew, can I talk to you about something important?"

Andrew nodded immediately, sitting up and closing his book, resting it on the beside table, "of course," he smiled, his hand squeezing my tight gently.

I sighed softly, "I understand if after this conversation your thoughts on our relationship might change," I assured him, my fingers toying gently with his rings, "I know that we've only been together for a few weeks but I know that for some people this is a deal breaker so I thought I'd tell you now."

Andrew nodded, "I'm listening," he assured, his hand caressing mine.

I took a deep breath, "listen Andrew," I sighed, avoiding his gaze, "I'm a virgin, but you already knew that," I started off, "but mine isn't an unfortunate series of events, is purely a decision," I shrugged, "since I was a teenager I knew already that I wanted to wait until marriage, I just never realized how much of a problem it would be for others," I mumbled, "it's not like I'm opposed to other intimate things, but I just want to experience such intimate moments with someone I'm in love with, not with someone I've been seeing for just a couple of months," I admitted, "I understand if now you want to call it quits, to be honest I kind of expected that," I chuckled wetly, my eyes stinging sharply with unshed tears, "I don't want you to stay with me just because you feel bad though, so please be honest with me."

Andrew didn't say anything, he simply moved his hand to cup my face, turning my head around to look at him, "that's alright, you know?" He smiled softly, "I understand that for a lot of people it might be a deal breaker, but not for me," he assured me, "I'm with you for who you are, not for what you look like, and even though I love your body, your body is not the reason why I'm with you."

I looked up at him, my eyes glossing over, "you don't have to say that just to make me happy."

Andrew shook his head, "I care about you too much to lie to your face, especially about something that I know is so important for you," he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to my forehead, "darling, I've held you in my arms as you cried countless of times because of jerks that couldn't understand that there's more to a relationship than sex, it pained me to see you so hurt simply because you decided to be yourself and do what's best for you, I don't ever want to see you like that again, and I especially don't want to see you like that because of me," he brushed his nose against mine, his beard tickling me slightly, "you are the most beautiful person I've ever met in my entire life, your soul is the purest on earth and your heart is the biggest," he smiled softly at me, "I've always accepted you for who you are, I don't ever intend on changing that, but I do want to help you to learn how to truly accept yourself without settling."

I looked up at him and smiled back, "Andrew Russel Garfield, you might just be making me fall in love with you."

Andrew chuckled and pecked my lips gently, "that was the plan," he laughed lightly, "but don't worry," he assured me, his arms wrapping around my waist protectively, bringing me as close to him as humanly possible, "I'm falling in love with you too."
