THE POWER OF CHOCOLATE AND CUDDLES- REMUS LUPIN

I groaned as I pulled my knees up to my chest, my stomach screaming in pain from the mere movement.

"Are you okay?" Remus' soft voice came from beside me on the bed, his hand coming up to my head to run his fingers gently through my hair as an act of comfort.

I shook my head, "I'm on my period," I whined, "my stomach is killing me Moony, I can't even sleep."

Remus cooed and I felt the bed dip beside me as he laid his big, warm body behind mine, his arms wrapping around my own, one of his hands sneaking in between my knees to gently press against my stomach, the heat coming from his skin dissolving the pain just a bit; perks of dating an overly warm and built werewolf.

"Would you like some chocolate?" He questioned in a whisper, smothering his hand over my hair.

I shook my head, "no, you need it."

Remus shook his head, "no sense," he mumbled, his harm already reaching out towards his drawer where a stash of dark chocolate was, "it more than two weeks till the full moon, I've got plenty of time to restock it."

I shook my head, "Moony you don't have to do this," I turned my head to look at him, "you don't have to take care of me."

Remus pressed his lips to the back of my neck, "it's alright," he whispered, "you always take care of me during my time of the month, it's only fair I do the same for you during yours."

I snorted, "I'd hardly compare period pains with the pain of turning into a big wolf every full moon," I shook my head, "whatever makes you happy," I shrugged.

Remus pressed a kiss to the back of my neck, "would you like to take a shower? A bath perhaps?"

I pondered the offer for a moment or two, "only if you come with me," I conceded, "if you won't get grossed out, that is," I added as an afterthought.

Remus shook his head, "course I'll come," he smiled, "bath or shower?"

"Shower."

Remus nodded, "alright love, stay here, I'll get some things ready."

I smiled as I felt his weight lift from the bed, his silhouette moving towards the bathroom.

I heard the shower running and grunted as I sat up, fetching new clothes for both me and Remus.

"Moony," I said as I entered the bathroom, "are you sure one of your dorm mates won't barge in?"

Remus snorted, "James has quidditch practice, Sirius is in detention - as usual - and Peter is with Mary in the greenhouse," he informed.

I nodded, "help me with this?" I pouted as I held my arms out towards him.

Remus laughed and scooted closer to me, slipping his sweater off of me, taking off his own right after.

I took off my pants and underwear and threw them in the hamper, shamelessly checking my boyfriend out as he did the same.

He held his hand out towards me and I grasped it in my own, letting him guide me into the hot shower.

Remus wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and brought us both under the steam of the shower.

Remus grabbed a shower gel bottle and started leathering it over my body, his calloused hands running softly along my skin.

"I love you," he whispered softly in my ear as he wrapped his arms around me once more.

I smiled up at him and pressed my lips to his jaw, "I love you too."

We were now cuddling in Remus' bed, his arms wrapped around my middle, our legs intertwined, "thank you for today Moony," I whispered as I turned around and pressed my lips softly to his, "I love you."

Remus smiled against my lips, "I love you too."

The dorm door suddenly burst open, "my eyes!" Sirius yelled at full volume, "my poor eyes! My poor innocence!"

Remus snorted and pulled away, "as if you have any of that left Pads."

I laughed as well, leaning my head on Remus' chest.

Sirius gasped, "you wound me Moony," he said dramatically, "what are we doing."

I glared at him, "we," I said as I gestured between me and Remus, "are going to cuddle and get some sleep, and you," I pointed to him, "are gonna get your ass out of here before I kick you out myself, and I wouldn't want to cross me today if I were you," I threatened, "women on their period are more dangerous than any of the spells they teach you here."

Sirius held his hands up in defense, "alright I'm out," he said as he stepped out of the door, "use protection!" He yelled before slamming the door behind him.

I grumbled under my breath, "I'm gonna kill him someday," I mumbled in my boyfriend's chest.

Remus chuckled and kissed my forehead gently, "and I'll help you hide the body."

"This is why I love you."
