Andrew's pov

I sighed softly as I came into my apartment, shutting the door softly behind me.

I was instantly greeted by my dog, Padfoot, jumping at my legs; I crouched down to pet him and kissed his snout gently.

I looked up, seeing the living room empty and so deciding to make my way to our bedroom, Padfoot following me loyally.

I saw y/n sleeping soundly on my side of the bed, her hair half up in a messy bun, legs thrown aimlessly on the mattress, her bangs sticking to her forehead.

I tiptoed to the joined cribs next to the bed and peeked inside; the twins were sleeping soundly as well, Lynn lying on her stomach, her pink hippo pacifier captured in between her small lips.

Looking in the other crib, I saw Jay sleeping as well, lying somewhat on his side, his green dog pacifier thrown next to him, his tiny fist pushed between his pouty lips.

I smiled down at my babies and made my way back to my girlfriend; I leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead, moving to the other side of the bed.

I sat down on the mattress and kicked off my shoes, throwing them on the floor.

I laid down next to y/n, feeling the bed dip as Padfoot laid down at my feet.

I reached my hand out and brushed some hair from my girlfriend's face, her skin warm under my touch.

She opened her eyes slowly, a soft yawn escaping past her lips; she looked up at me, her expression tired.

"Hey," I greeted her. I pressed a soft kiss to her lips, "are you okay?" I questioned.

I brushed her hair away from her face once more, "yeah," she sighed as she leaned her head on my chest, "the twins fell asleep and since I've had a killing headache all day, I thought I'd take advantage of that and rest for a moment," she explained.

I put the back of my hand on her forehead, checking for a temperature, "you're a bit warm, maybe you have a fever," I examined her expression, "have you taken anything yet?" I questioned.

She nodded, "yeah, just some tables."

I pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head, "did you manage to get some sleep love?"

She shrugged, "yeah, a bit," she muttered in the fabric of my shirt.

"Sorry," she mumbled softly.

I looked down at her, "sorry for what?" I whispered.

She sighed softly, "I know tonight we were supposed to go out, and then have some time just the two of us, but I don't think I'm ready yet."

I smiled softly and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, "I get it," I assured her, "just because the doctor told us to wait at least three months before having sex again doesn't mean that just because we've reached those three months we automatically have to have sex," I wrapped my arms tighter around her, "is there any specific reason as to why though? Cause I feel like there's something you're nervous about."
