Andrew's pov

I opened the door to my apartment and threw my keys on the kitchen counter, pulling off my shoes and letting them fly somewhere in the room.

I sluggishly walked to my living room and saw a pair of blue sneakers at the sofa's foot; I frowned and picked them up to inspect them, knowing they weren't mine.

I threw my coat on the couch and made my way through my apartment, looking around in search of someone, "dad?" I called out, "Ben, is that you?" I saw a dim light coming from underneath my bedroom door and opened it slowly.

What I saw made my heart thump loudly against my ribcage.

Y/n was laying down on the bed, wearing one of my hoodies and a pair of my fuzzy socks, my pillow close to her chest.

She was curled up on herself, her hair falling on her face from her messy bun; my dog was curled up beside her legs, his snout resting on her thigh.

I moved towards them and Padfoot opened his eyes, looking up at me and then yawning, closing his eyes back again and snuggling closer to y/n's tight.

I chuckled and shook my head, moving closer to my girlfriend; I sat down on the mattress by her side and moved her bangs out of her eyes gently, trying not to wake her up.

Noticing how cold the room was, I got up and fetched the warmest blanket I had from my closet, laying it on her body and tucking her sides in.

She snuggled into it and sighed softly.

I chuckled and grabbed one of my extra pillows, sitting down on the other side of the bed, picking up my book from my nightstand.

I was only a few pages into the story when I heard movement from beside me.

I looked down and saw y/n's eyes open tiredly.

I closed my book and placed it back on my nightstand; I turned back around and reached my hand out to cup her face, "hi darling," I whispered.

She looked up at me and leaned into my the palm of my hand, "hey Drew," she whispered back.

She sighed softly and squirmed her way into my arms, throwing her leg over my waist, lacing her arms around my shoulders and laying her head on my chest.

I wrapped my own arms around her middle and pressed a kiss on the top of her head.

"I didn't know you were coming over," I mumbled as I ran my fingers through her hair.

She yawned and shrugged, "me neither," she whispered, "I missed you so I came here, you weren't home and I decided to wait for you," she shrugged, "I guess I fell asleep," she muttered sheepishly.

I chuckled, "before or after the jumper thief inside of you came out and took over?"

She punched my chest gently and huffed as she snuggled more into my chest.
