"You said who...?" Corbin slowly raised his head once I finished telling them everything that'd happened in the last 24 hours. Syre calling me early around 2 in the morning with his only instructions being to call them over and talk to all of them.

"Aaron Bligh- what's the issue? Who is he?" I furrowed my eyebrows, tired of these niggas repeatedly keeping secrets. If it wasn't Syre, it was them. And you would think after everything, the smarter decision would be letting me in on everything rather than keeping me in the dark so I could know why I had to be from around him. Even if I wasn't planning on letting him back in to begin with.

"Come" Leon nudged his head towards the front door as him, Isaiah, and Corbin all stood up. Furrowing my eyebrows, I looked between all of them weirdly while getting up to follow behind, not understanding why everything had to be so dramatic.

"Are y'all going to tell me what's going on, or are we just about to stand out here staring at each other the entire time?" I raised an eyebrow, placing my hands on my hips as soon as we stepped outside.

Corbin and Leon leant up against opposite porch posts, while Isaiah sat down on one of the little chairs out there. They all just looked spaced out, as if they were trying to formulate the right words yet failing each time.

"...Has yo boyfriend ever told you the story of his two friends? Red and Aaron?" Isaiah looked up towards me, and I slowly shook my head no, those names not ringing a bell at all.

"No, not that I can remember." I looked around at them weirdly, confused at all of their facial expressions that gave away this whole thing was a lot more than what I knew about. Grabbing the seat closest to me, I sat down also with my legs crossed, just waiting for someone to actually say something rather than beating around the bush.

"A couple years ago, he partnered with this couple, I ain't gon say their names cause it ain't important. But they was basically the enemy, however business was always cool with them and it was making him good money and all that. At the time, his two right hands were named Red and Aaron. Both were both allegedly killed during the last encounter Syre had with them, before taking both their lives himself." Leon explained, keeping his eyes out towards the road at the cars passing by.

Meanwhile, I sat frozen for a minute, trying to make sense of something that clearly made none considering Aaron was well and alive. Had been well and alive for years, I couldn't even remember ever seeing a scratch on his skin.

"Dead?! How long ago did that happen?" I sat up, eyeing Isaiah who shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Going on 3 years now." He nodded, and my eyes nearly bulged out of my head because that wasn't true. At all.
