The voice of Summer Walker's Body blared through the speakers of the crowded vicinity, bouncing off of every wall that enclosed each individual who stood around while the time read 11:18 am.

Amerie's lips latched onto the rim of her Daiquri glass, taking a slow sip as her eyes trained on the stripper entertaining their section. She eyed her every movement sharply, unconsciously finding herself critiquing the movements of the girl others might not have noticed. But she couldn't help it, not knowing if the over criticalness came naturally, or if it stemmed from that same woman showing excessive attention to the man who sat along the couches just across from her.

"Y'all dragged me out the house for me to do what, stare at my ex be surrounded by other bitches the entire night?" She finally broke her own stare to look towards her friends who were already all watching her.

The tension was felt by everyone, but nobody said anything about it. There wasn't anything to be said, except for questions and inquiries they knew wouldn't be entertained.

"No...we dragged you out the house to have fun. You've been cooped up in your house for weeks now." Samariah smiled, but Amerie struggled to reciprocate that same energy.

"Have fun while feet away from what's keeping me from having fun?" She raised an eyebrow, taking another sip from her drink before her eyes landed on Syre whose eyes merged to lock on hers. His tongue shot out to run along his lips slowly, not trying to hide the smirk that spread along his face.

He didn't leave her alone, not once in the last couple of weeks they went without being anywhere close to on good terms with one another. It seemed as if as the days went on, whatever remained of their relationship became less and less. One day things were fine and Syre was showering her with gifts he'd send, then the next they were at each others throats. Fighting one another both physically and mentally, with the end goal being to cover up their bruising hearts.

She didn't understand herself, and it upset her to no end. Because even with the terms they were on, within the last week they somehow found themselves in one another's beds by the end of the night constantly. She tried to cut it off, staying away for three days, but it came crashing down again just the night prior. Repeating the cycle of doing the act off of a heavily intoxicated mind, before waking up the next morning with nothing but regret and the declaration that she was "really done."

"Aight, everyone get a glass! A shot!" Kj yelled out, gaining everyone's attention.

"Little boy, you don't got school in the morning?" Shay raised an eyebrow, letting off the question everyone else was thinking.
