Max's pov
Billy and I first went to the grocery store to buy, chocolate and candy. "can I get a mix of roses and tulips bouquet please" Billy said
I put Billy to ask for flowers because pretty sure the worker there would ask why a girl would buy flowers since the boys are usually the ones who buy flowers for girls.
The worker smiled and prepared the bouquet. "thank you" we thanked the worker and left the florist. "alright" Billy said getting in the car sighing. "is that all?" he asked as I nodded.
We went back at home. It was like 11 am or something. My mom was surprisingly up when we got back home.
"oh! Hey, where were you two?" she asked but paused when she saw me. She saw what I was holding. I hid them behind my back but it was too late. I knew she wouldn't mind but she gave me money for other purpose
"what are you holding" she asked confused. "uh-nothing" I said. "maxine, was that a bouquet?" she asked laughing slightly. Why is she laughing. So did Billy.
"what's so funny?" I asked frowning. "are those for el" she asked raising her eyebrows. "maybe" I quietly said blushing.
She smiled. "that's not what I gave you money for but I don't mind now,its fine, can I see?" she asked smirking at the end. Billy looked at me and I showed her what I bought.
"woah.." she whispered. "that's so cute maxine" she said looking at me in awe. I smiled nervously. "are you gonna ask her to be your girlfriend?" she asked. Wasn't it obvious?
I nodded smiling, blushing. "aww" she said pinching my cheek as I shoved it away playfully. "stop" I said laughing, still blushing. "alright I'm gonna go upstairs and make the sign" I said as Billy and my mom smirked at me. I sighed.
"stop looking at me like that and stop mocking me" I said as they laughed. I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs. I started writing 'will you be my girlfriend' on the white sign. With hearts in both sides of the sentence and smiley faces. The sign wasn't so big but not so small either. I put a card in the flowers that said:
'You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen in my life, you make me happy, you're the first thing I think of when I wake up. I've liked you for a long time, I just didn't really realise it. And I was scared to tell you. I never thought you would feel the same way as me. You're kind, sweet, gorgeous, cute adorable, beautiful and so damn protective over the ones you love, so strong and brave and many more things but I would have to make a list haha... I love hanging out with you, I could listen to you all day, I promise I will always be by your side whenever you need me. I've never felt so happy in my life, my face lights up whenever I see you and my mood changes immediately I would love you to be my girlfriend... love, max. :) ♡ ' (a/n: Mike s4 take notes, jk jk, sorry I'll shut up)
