A letter arrives for Megumi, one with no information on it. Megumi isn't even sure if he should open it but curiosity gets the best of him. He opens the envelope, looking at the letter.

Megumi drops the letter in complete shock. He grabs the letter again, turning it over and seeing there is a meeting address written on it. Out of all the letters he could've received, he didn't expect a letter from his biological father. Megumi pulls out his phone, dialing the first person that came to mind. "Megumi, what's going on? Is everything okay? Awh, did you miss me? Don't worry, I'm on my way." Itadori questions.
"No. No, Yuji, I mean I love you and I love spending time with you but that's not it." Megumi rushes out, feeling completely flustered. What can he say? How does he explain this? "Itadori, I got a letter."
"Ooh, cool, hey Megumi I hate to break your heart but I get mail too. I'm a pretty popular guy, and tons of places are expecting my attention. Car payment, rent-"
"Yuji, shut up." Megumi interrupts, waiting for Itadori to stop laughing. "I got a letter from my biological father." He informs which instantly silences Itadori. "He wants to see me, he's been trying to see me but my parents have been stopping him. Yuji, I want to see him. This could be a fake, I know there is always a possibility but I-"
"I'll go to the place. If anything goes wrong, I can be there." Itadori instantly offers. Megumi smiles, feeling a sense of relief knowing that. Megumi tells Itadori about the details to make sure that he doesn't get there before Itadori. This is perfect knowing he has some back up or an excuse to leave.
