"Byleth! Okay, so Kirby told you to follow him, right?" Mario questioned before smiling at Byleth. Byleth nodded slowly while staring at him confused but then Link came driving by on a motorcycle. Byleth stood there still confused. Link got up and the heroes showcased the motorcycle.

"We got your dream motorcycle!" Kirby cheered. Byleth was absolutely stunned by how the motorcycle looked. It was so nice looking and it was beyond stunning. He was in so much awe of how the motorcycle looked.

Chrom clapped, "That looks like a great motorcycle, you deserve it." Byleth blushed at Chrom and then stared at the motorcycle again.

"We got this one for you since you've always been trying to save for a motorcycle like this," Yae Miko said with a smile.

Byleth thanked, "Thank you... it's absolutely perfect... It's all I could've ever asked for! Thank you guys so much!" The heroes smiled at him as Byleth hugged Mario tightly. "Gods you heroes are just such a gift."

Shez said with a smile, "That's a nice motorcycle! I know how to ride a motorcycle and honestly I'd kill to ride in that."

"You really like it that much? I can let you borrow it if you want," Byleth replied.

Shez giggled, "Oh you first test it out on your own, after all it is your motorcycle." Byleth nodded as he looked toward Chrom who was looking at the motorcycle as well.

"I taught Claude how to ride a motorcycle, anyways the motorcycle is really nice looking," Chrom laughed. Byleth stood there and smiled, but then his smile turned into a frown.

"Is something troubling you?" Hornet asked. Byleth looked at Chrom and saw him staring at a necklace.

Byleth replied, "No, it's... nothing." He stared at the motorcycle and got on. "Hey Chrom, do you want to drive around the city with me?"

Chrom questioned, "Why me specifically?"

"Well it's just... I want to invite you for my first ride on this motorcycle," Byleth replied. Chrom stared at him and then nodded. They got on and put their helmets on.

Mario shouted, "Be careful you two! Don't get hurt!" They nodded and Byleth drove off.

"Wow, this motorcycle is crazy fast!" Chrom yelled. Byleth looked at Chrom and smiled. They continued to drive around the city and then they arrived at a bridge. Chrom looked over the bridge as Byleth slowly took off his helmet. He took a deep breath and looked toward Chrom.

Byleth sighed, "Chrom, I wanted to bring here for an important meeting." Chrom looked up and turned toward Byleth in confusion.

"Why?"

"I guess... my feelings for you have increased and I can't handle it anymore," Byleth explained. Chrom stood there staring at him and then looked down at the necklace he was wearing. "I don't understand why you fell in love with someone like Claude."

Chrom argued, "Byleth, you don't realize why I love him so much."

"Well, then, tell me already..." Byleth muttered. Chrom stood there and took a deep breath.

Chrom explained, "When I was at my lowest point after Emelia's death Claude was there. He and I were close friends and so he came back from Almyra to take care of me. I was so done with myself I felt like everything was shutting down one by one. However... when he helped me out... I felt like something inside of me sparked.

He was going to be the one... I felt every emotion inside me stirring around. This is for my mental health, I can't be living like this... Emma would want the best from me... so we started dating. He gave me this necklace as a gift, he said he ordered it just for me."

"Ah... I understand..." Byleth whispered. He stared at the necklace Chrom had, he was wearing two necklaces. A black one and a blue and yellow one. "I'm... curious, what's that black necklace about?"

Chrom immediately panicked and asked, "What do you mean black necklace?!"

"You're wearing one right now, what does it symbolize?" Byleth questioned a little concern now. Chrom looked at him and took off the necklace. He put it away in his pocket and got on the motorcycle.

Chrom sighed, "That doesn't concern you. For now... let's go back to the heroes, they're probably getting worried about where we are."

"But we're taking a ride around the city? Why would they be worried about where we are located?" Byleth questioned.

Chrom sighed, "Maybe they want to know if the motorcycle works?"

"But they bought it for me, and plus it works just fine? What are you so worried about?" Byleth asked. Chrom looked at his black necklace and slowly turned slightly away from Byleth. "Chrom, I'm your best friend, don't feel afraid to tell me anything." Chrom lifted his head up slightly and took a deep breath.

Chrom explained, "Byleth, the problem isn't that I don't trust you. I trust you with so much stuff, but maybe someday I'll get the courage to tell you what this necklace symbolizes. But as of right now, I just... don't have the courage to."

Byleth sighed, "I see how it is... well I respect your wishes. Let's get back to the heroes like you said. Get your helmet ready." Chrom nodded as he put on his helmet. Byleth looked down at his motorcycle in defeat and took a deep breath. Driving off with Chrom behind him.

"Sorry for the trouble Byleth, I really didn't want it to end up this way," Chrom apologized.

Byleth replied with a small smile, "Don't apologize Chrom, you're just doing the best you can to protect yourself from unwanted stuff. I get what you're trying to do. You're just trying to be weary of others." Chrom smiled at Byleth as they started driving closer and closer to where the heroes were located.

"Dawn City, what a beautiful place..."

"Indeed, what a beautiful place it is, anyways we made it!" Byleth cheered. Chrom nodded as the heroes all waved at the two. They waved back and smiled gently at one another.
