Clash Blast at Vivin City ~ Chapter 68

"Don't you DARE get anywhere closer to the citizens!" Kirby shouted. Magnus smiled and shot electrical shocks at everyone. The heroes dodged the attacks and Alear managed to slam her sword against Magnus.

Alear shouted, "TAKE THIS!!!" Magnus fell backwards and looked at all the heroes in anger. The heroes walked closer to him getting ready to attack but Magnus used an ice lance to sweep them away. They were launched backward and some of them hit the ground harshly.

"You think you can beat me?! I want to believe that all of you are wrong!" Magnus laughed. Then he sent out an attack. The heroes were launched and slid against the ground. "You're all nothing but pathetic little weaklings..."

Kirby shouted, "I'LL SHOW YOU PATHETIC!!" Then Kirby slammed his hammer against Magnus. He slammed against a wall and felt like his shoulder shut off. The heroes helped one another get up. Magnus kept trying to heal himself as the heroes gathered around him.

"You think you're going to defeat me!? I want to see you all give it a try..." Magnus giggled. Then he sent out a beam. Link dashed in and shielded everyone away from them. "What the hell?! How come none of my magical attacks aren't working against them!?"

Chrom yelled, "YOU WILL NEVER TAKE US ALIVE MAGNUS!!" Then all of the heroes went in for an attack. Each of them paired up with one another and did as much damage as possible. One by one each of them did all they could. Within a flash they managed to injure Magnus to a core.

Magnus grunted, "A pair up ability, eh?" Then he slowly got up and giggled. Then he shot off another beam. However, Eula dashed over and used her sword to deflect the beam. Magnus barely dodged the beam and it hit the wall.

"What is going on..." Claude whispered as he saw each of the heroes fighting Magnus with all their strength. Kazuha dashed in for an attack and hit Magnus; however, right as his sword hit Magnus it blasted him away against a wall.

Magnus shouted, "YOU LIARS!! YOU HAVE ABILITIES THAT WERE GRANTED BY THAT DAMN TREE!!" He felt his anger building up as the heroes all stood there in silence. They were beyond pissed off now and they were going to do everything they could to make sure Magnus was finally killed. But at the same time, the heroes were confused about the claim that was just made...

"The World Tree?" Chrom questioned. Magnus fell onto the ground in agonizing pain and sent out his sword at the heroes. However, Niko jumped in and the sword slammed onto Magnus.

Byleth laughed, "Look at us being able to harness such interesting abilities." The heroes nodded as they witnessed Magnus slowly get up on one foot. Both of his eyes were now harmed but that didn't stop him at all. The heroes were starting to get more irritated with Magnus.

Chrom thought, "When does this man think about losing!? He's trying to do everything in his power to stay alive?!" Magnus looked at the heroes and back at his fist. Magnus began to chuckle and looked toward Chrom who kept his grip on his sword.

"I'll make sure none of you smile ever again... especially you Mr. Lowell. I know you're hiding something deep within yourself..." Magnus grunted. Chrom's face turned into horror as he tightened the grip on his sword. "Did I scare you? I hope I did." Then Chrom dashed in for an attack. Magnus felt the sword against his face and fell backward.

Eula whispered, "The whole entire wall... it's all ruined..." Chrom looked down at the dust and saw that Magnus was seemingly... gone? The heroes searched the area around for a moment before hearing laughter in the distance.

"LOOKING FOR SOMEONE!?" Magnus asked. Chrom turned around and saw Magnus trying to keep Claude in his grip. "COME AND GET HIM YOU LITTLE COWARD!" Magnus then began laughing hysterically as the heroes witnessed Claude trying to break free.

Chrom yelled, "CLAUDE!" Then he dashed after Magnus the heroes didn't know what to do but also followed after Magnus. Within a flash they were thrown onto the ground and slammed into water that was on the ground.

Byleth asked, "DAMN IT! Where is he taking them now?!" The heroes cleaned themselves off and looked ahead. There was no sign of Chrom or Claude anywhere. "Forget it! We need to go find them!"

"He makes a point! Come on!" Kirby ordered. The heroes nodded as they dashed over. Meanwhile Chrom was dashing over chasing Magnus. Magnus didn't seem to want to let go of Chrom, as he kept swinging his sword trying to avoid hitting Claude.

Chrom yelled, "LET GO OF HIM!"

"GO AHEAD AND MAKE ME!"

"I'LL MAKE SURE YOU LET GO OF HIM!!!" Chrom then threw a dagger at Magnus. He got hit in the face hard and fell back. Dropping Claude in the process. Chrom slammed his foot on Magnus' back hard. "You don't want to mess around with me that way..."

"You..."

"Are you pissed off that I managed to defeat you? Because in reality Magnus... you are nothing..." Chrom grunted as he glared down at Magnus. He laid there staring up at Chrom as Claude got himself adjusted, trying to understand what was going on.

Magnus laughed, "You're insane in the head Chrom! You're actually INSANE IN THE HEAD!" Chrom rolled his eyes as he kept his foot on Magnus' back. "You... you..."
