"There She Blows!" ~ Chapter 7

Sweetheart took a deep breath and attacked the heroes. Alongside her were an army of... Sprout moles?

"GAH WHAT THE HELL?!" Link asked before being toppled over by the sprout moles. Sweetheart smiled and then attacked the heroes again.

Sweetheart laughed, "OHOHOHO! YOU DO NOT COMPETE WITH ME! I AM THE TRUE PRINCESS OF THIS REALM!" The heroes looked over at her and noticed that she was really powerful. Suddenly she swung her mace at the heroes.

RIGHT IN THE HEART! Kirby was hit and launched afar. The heroes looked at one another and stared back at Sweetheart. Kirby tried to sit up but failed miserably. What were they fighting?

"OHOHOHO! YOU CANNOT COMPETE WITH ME! HOW DARE YOU EVEN TRY!" Sweetheart insulted. Then the heroes' emotions turned angry. Zhongli was able to strike at Sweetheart and she fell backward.

Albedo asked, "Anyone feel like... there's an uncontrollable anger within you?" The heroes all stood there staring at Albedo in confusion as Byleth suddenly understood just what Albedo was saying.

"The emotion system is in play. Hang on, I think I know how we are able to beat her," Byleth noticed before pulling up his communicator. The heroes looked over and noticed an emotion chart.

Chrom asked, "Sorry to be a bother but... What is that?" Byleth smiled at Chrom and got himself ready to explain about the new system in play.

"It's like... a system of emotions, she makes us angry and she has the advantage against us. However if we are sad, then we have the advantage against her," Byleth explained. The heroes nodded and looked over toward Sweetheart.

Sweetheart laughed, "OHOHOHO!" Suddenly Hajime came dashing by and used a move called, 'Rain Cloud.' Then everyone went from angry to sad.

"Looks... like we have the advantage... here," Byleth explained while sounding miserable. The heroes nodded and attacked Sweetheart.

Albedo pointed out, "Seems like our defense... is higher, but our speed is lower..." The heroes looked over and then soon Sweetheart swung her mace once again. The heroes all fell onto the ground but luckily they weren't too harmed after the attack.

"AH!!" The heroes shouted. Then they reverted back to neutral emotions again after being hit. They all looked to one another to check if everyone was alright. After checking everyone was fine, they got up and took a look at Sweetheart.

"OHOHO! YOU CANNOT COMPETE WITH NATURAL HAPPINESS!" Sweetheart laughed. Then she went from happy to ecstatic. "I CANNOT BE SAD OR ANGRY ANYMORE! OHOHO!"

Byleth groaned, "Great, how are we going to beat her?" Then they turned over to Chrom. "Chrom, do you want to be our emotion user?"

Chrom questioned, "Wait huh?! Emotion user?" Byleth nodded and Chrom slowly agreed. Sonic sped over and read a sad poem to Chrom. He turned from neutral to sad. Chrom dashed over and swung an attack at Sweetheart.

"GAH! NONONO!" Sweetheart shouted. Chrom looked at himself and soon Link came dashing by with another sad poem. Turning Chrom sad to depressed.

Mario asked, "Do you think this will be enough?" The heroes nodded and Chrom striked again. He was close to defeating Sweetheart but she wasn't going down so easily. Then she slammed her mace against Chrom. Chrom fell backward slightly and glared at her. He got up slowly and grabbed onto his shoulder.

"DO YOU WANT TO TRY AGAIN?! OHOHOHO!" Sweetheart laughed. Chrom nodded slowly looking down at himself in defeat. However, he knew that he still had the advantage. He just needed to push through to hurt Sweetheart, had the right momentum but he had to push through.

Chrom whispered, "I have this... I can defeat Sweetheart and ensure she leaves..." He took a deep breath and raised his sword. He dashed at Sweetheart at full speed before slamming the sword right against Sweetheart. RIGHT IN THE HEART! It struck Sweetheart right then and there, defeating her at long last.

"No... but... why," Sweetheart grunted. Then she fell onto the ground. Chrom returned back to his regular state and the heroes cheered. They all hugged Chrom as he hugged them back.

Chrom laughed, "That was a rather tough battle but I'm glad we were able to make it out of there in the end!" The heroes all nodded as Byleth looked at the emotion chart in his hand. "What do you got there?"

Byleth replied, " It's a chart based on the emotion system. An emotion system could come in handy for the future..." When the heroes looked over Sweetheart was suddenly gone. The heroes all smiled at one another knowing that at least Sweetheart was nowhere to be found now.

"She left... I guess it's time for us to head home now," Hajime replied.

Mario sighed, "Yep... we can't endanger the people of this city anymore. Now, let's get going so we can protect our own Town." The heroes nodded and Kirby came dashing over. Chrom picked up Kirby as Kirby smiled up at him. Chrom rubbed him on the head for a moment before sighing in defeat.

"I wish we didn't have to leave so soon, but we being here is causing problems," Chrom sighed. The heroes nodded and slowly got onto the bus one by one. That's when suddenly...

"HELLPP!!!" Someone screamed. Kazuha and Shez looked over and saw a person being attacked.

Kazuha ordered, "Shez let's go help them." Shez nodded and they dashed over.
