Dawn's Destiny

"TURNTABLE!!!" ~ Chapter 135

"Let's cut this simple and short alright? I just want to kill you all and take over Dawn!" Magnus laughed as he threw the dagger. Chrom dodged it as Magnus took out a phantom lance in the process.

"That's been the only goal that has been in your mind, we're here to erase that and make sure you die..." Chrom grumbled. Then the trio dashed in to attack Magnus. Magnus swept his lance against them but they were able to dodge and hit him on the back.

Magnus shouted, "OH GOD THAT ACTUALLY STUNG!!" He fell onto the ground but threw his lance. It hit Alear in the leg but she had to fight through the pain. She got over and slammed her sword against Magnus. Magnus looked down and started to giggle hysterically.

Chrom suggested, "DON'T HURT HIM TOO MUCH! HE FEEDS ON THE PAIN!" Alear and Byleth nodded as they dashed over to Chrom. Byleth healed Alear's foot as Magnus kept on laughing from the pain he just received.

Magnus laughed, "That pain... What a beautiful feeling to have. Imagine being stabbed in the leg by a sword... I think I'm in love. AHAHAH! GAHAHAH!! HAHAHA!!" He kept on laughing as the three gathered back with each other.

"You're insane in the head..." Chrom whispered, as Byleth kept on healing Alear. Then Magnus stopped laughing and took out the sword from his leg. He stared at the sword for a moment before throwing it away.

Magnus ordered, "You think you're so smart huh?! Thinking about doing things like this?" Magnus grabbed tight on his lance as the heroes got themselves ready to attack him again. Magnus on the other hand had another plan in mind in order to eliminate all three of them.

"I'm not smart at all, I'm just manipulating the way you act," Chrom explained. Magnus stared at him and smiled. He took a deep breath and threw a dagger at Chrom. Chrom barely dodged it but it hit a tree and released a poisonous gas.

Alear yelled, "GODS THERE'S A POISONOUS GAS!" Chrom looked back at Magnus and dashed at him. He slammed his sword against his lance as Alear and Byleth joined him. Magnus fell backward and hit a tree.

"We have to get out of here as fast as possible," Byleth suggested. The two nodded as they dashed on ahead. They kept on running and looking back at themselves. Magnus was barely getting up and got ready to chase after them. The heroes got together as Chrom led the group.

Chrom ordered, "WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LET HIM TAKE YOU!!" The two nodded as they jumped over the debris in the way. They made it back into Dawn city as Magnus kept on chasing them.

Magnus laughed, "YOU CAN RUN ALL YOU WANT BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!!" Chrom looked back and threw a dagger directly into Magnus' eye. He fell onto the ground and then ripped the dagger out.

Chrom grunted, "We need to keep running as long as I keep him distracted." Alear and Byleth paused as Chrom stopped to catch his breath. They both shook their heads as they each grabbed one of Chrom's shoulders.

"We're not leaving you behind Chrom," Byleth said with a firm tone. Alear nodded in agreement as Chrom looked up toward them, still trying to gather his breath together.

"YOU GUYS HAVE TO LEAVE BEFORE HE HURTS YOU GUYS! DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME!" Chrom ordered. The two looked at Chrom in worry and then admitted defeat. They dashed away from the scene as Chrom held tight on falchion. He felt his sweat moving down his face as Magnus slowly got up.

Magnus sighed, "You pathetic sad being, you really think you stand a chance against me? You must be very stupid to even remotely think that..." Chrom looked at him as he got his posture fixed, pointing the sword closer to Magnus

"That may be stupid to you but I'm going to stay here until my dying breath, I don't want you to hurt anymore of my friends..." Chrom replied. Magnus stood there staring at Chrom and then smiled. He took out a dagger and then got ready to throw it at Chrom.

Magnus sighed, "Well then, I suppose you won't mind if I kill you here and now with my dagger, hm?" Chrom kept on staring at him as he took a long deep breath. Magnus moved closer as Chrom started walking backward

"STAY BACK!!" He kept his sword pointed toward Magnus as Magnus kept on walking closer and closer to Chrom. Chrom felt his entire body shaking from fear but he knew he had to do something in order to fend for his life, he was not going down with a dagger.

"MAKE ME!!" Then he threw the dagger directly at Chrom. "AHAHAH!"

"NO!!"Chrom put his sword up trying to block it but he knew it wasn't going to work...
