Dwellings Worlds Of Darkness ~ Chapter 79

Byleth slowly opened his eyes in some strange darkness. From the corner of his eye he noticed Sothis. She was watching Byleth while on the throne.

"I haven't seen you in a while, what are we doing here?"

"You know exactly what happened, Magnus sent you, Alear and Chrom into this strange interdimensional place. I'm not sure what any of it means but... what the HECK?!" Byleth looked at her in worry and then back down at himself.

Byleth replied, "I don't know what happened nor do I know what exactly is going on. But I will do all I can to make it up to you-"

"Magnus casted a spell that can't allow anyone to escape... you guys are just going to die here all alone... Chrom and Alear are passed out..."

"Yo-You're kidding..."

"Of course not!? Why would I joke about a situation like this?! Do you believe that there is a way out!? Face it, we're going to die here!" Sothis yelled. Byleth looked around the area and then back down at himself. He took a deep breath and sat on the ground in shame.

Byleth muttered, "We acted far too irresponsibly... now the world is going to be destroyed under his hands... I doubt Alear and Chrom are going to be alive for much longer. I will probably die as well..." Sothis stared at Byleth and then took a deep breath.

Sothis asked, "Do you want to die?"

"No of course not?! I want to make sure I find a way to kill that monster ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Byleth replied. Sothis nodded as she got up from the throne "What are you doing right now?!"

Sothis replied, "I think I know of a way to escape from this area. It's been a long wild ride watching you do all of this... but I have no other choice." Byleth looked down at her and took a deep breath.

Byleth sighed, "Whatever you decide is best for me... I will follow through." Sothis smiled at Byleth as she viewed all around him.

"Make sure you use this power for your good, I don't want to see you going rogue and using this for evil. But I know how you are, you wouldn't dare," Sothis replied while giggling. Byleth stared down at her as she took a deep breath.

Byleth asked, "What are you doing?"

"What am I doing? I'm going to fuse with you, giving you my power for the better!" Byleth paused for a moment but followed through. Raising his hand in the process. The two stared at one another as Sothis raised her hand.

"Now... I suppose this is the end..." Sothis felt a little nervous as Byleth reassured her.

"Do what you decide is best..." Sothis nodded as she looked Byleth in the eyes. Byleth was unsure of what was going to happen but he embraced it.

Sothis sighed, "Make sure you bring your allies out of this hellfire after I fuse with you alright?" Byleth nodded as slowly Sothis moved into Byleth's body. Then there was a moment of silence. Sothis was inside of his body. Silence... that's all that surrounded the area. Suddenly there was a rush of energy.

Byleth had received the power of the goddess. His hair turned bright green almost mint, as he felt the power of the goddess flow within his veins. He felt like he could carry the world out with his power.

"HAHHH!!!" He screamed as he took out the Sublime creator sword. He stabbed it through the wall and cut through. Opening the world into the next dimension. Walking through it and coming out to find Chrom and Alear on the ground. They were unconscious but breathing very slowly. "There they are..."

He was unsure what to do but with his new ability he was going to find a way to bring them out of here. He looked down and then back down at the sword.

Byleth muttered, "I know there's something within them that will shine through. I just know there is something!" Then he looked down at the two. Without noticing there was energy flowing through them. Byleth was in disbelief at what he was seeing. Just like that the two woke up again.

"OH MY GODS!" Alear shouted. Chrom rubbed his head unsure of what was going on. Then the two spotted Byleth's hair color. "What... happened?" Byleth looked up at himself and then back toward his sword.

He replied, "The goddess happened."

"I suppose I can reveal this to you two but you promise not to tell anyone alright?" Byleth and Alear nodded in union while Chrom took a deep breath. "Time dwells fully within my body. She gave me some of her strength and granted me the ability to view the future. I am the keeper of Time and it's up to me to save Dawn."

Alear gasped, "Time?! Granted you her powers and... now you can view the future!? That's... crazy! You can prevent so many disasters from happening!" Chrom nodded as he looked down at himself.

"Time resides within all of us, she wants us to win. She granted me a watch and now we have to escape from here!" The others nodded as they put their swords together. Then cutting out the way out of the interdimensional world they were in. All three of them jumped out and landed on the ground.

Magnus gasped, "WHAT THE-"

"IT'S OVER MAGNUS!!"
