Tremble Nightmare ~ Chapter 11

"What... What happened!?" Kirby asked. Then he realized that Kazuha and Yae Miko's motorcycle broke and Kazuha was severely injured. "KAZUHA! YAE MIKO!"

Kazuha grunted, "Oh... my god... I wasn't... suspecting a boulder to be thrown at us." The heroes looked over and dashed to their aid.

Sonic asked, "How are we going to get there in time?! We're down one motorcycle!" Mario tried thinking of an idea, and suddenly Byleth summoned a hoverboard on his communicator.

Byleth sighed, "Just installed this, it may not function properly but it's for backup purposes. Spawn a hoverboard and GET MOVING!" Marianne finished healing and looked over at Byleth. Then she was given a communicator.

"F-For me?"

"You're a team member now, take it," Byleth gave the communicator to Marianne and she placed it on. She grabbed Kazuha and got on the hoverboard. Yae Miko joined Byleth's ride and the others got on the motorcycles.

Mario grunted, "Let's hurry on out of here, this is just... horrible." The heroes nodded and sped up again. The chaos appeared to be dying down around the area they were in.

"What's going on!?" Link questioned. The heroes looked around and then they realized there was a portal ahead. It teleported them to a safe space and that's where Jade and Ruby were.

Jade cheered, "You all returned! It seems like some of you- technically all of you, were injured."

"The cuts were on purpose; on the other hand, Kazuha did in fact get injured," Hornet explained. Jade walked over and went to assist him. Ruby was looking over the security footage.

"The sky has turned red big time... people are polluting the air around us, it's horrifying," Ruby explained. The heroes looked at one another and then back to the projected security footage.

Mario muttered, "It's horrifying... Why must this be happening right now?" The heroes nodded in agreement while Ruby stood there staring at the screen.

"We must close off the borders to prevent people from the neighboring planets from entering," Zhongli suggested. Ruby nodded and ordered Jade to shut off the borders.

Shez asked, "Wait a moment, the neighboring planets can come visit us at any given point and time?" Zhongli nodded while Jade was using the control panel to close off the borders. Soon the cave was blocked off and the borders that connected to Dawn shut off.

Sonic laughed nervously, "I'm going to be completely honest, I didn't know the realm borders existed."

"It's probably for the best, we don't want people coming over here after all," Ruby explained. Jade nodded and looked back at the footage. People were killing each other, nothing but blood thrown across the place.

Eula muttered, "This... is sickening..."

"Those poor people didn't stand a chance... they're all innocent but..." Marianne gasped. She ran off and soon Shez followed after her.

Kirby asked, "Is there even a cure to all of this?! It just began out of nowhere without any explanation!" Jade thought for a moment and then an idea came into her mind.

"Someone can go ahead and check the libraries around the city, unfortunately I do not have the directions to the Dawn Library yet..." Jade explained.

Link questioned, "But isn't that still placing all of us in danger of some type?"

"I... I don't know any way around this..." Jade explained. Ruby looked at the gadget in his hand and back at the heroes.

Ruby ordered, "I want someone to attempt to go to the Dawn library! Make sure you come back alive! That's an order!" The heroes nodded and got into a circle.

"Is there anyone who's willing to get into the disaster and try to find one library?" Mario interrogated. The heroes looked at one another and then Chrom took a deep breath.

Chrom described, "I'll go in under one condition, someone joins me." Link then raised his hand. Chrom nodded and the circle disbanded.

"Make sure you two come out of this alive," Sonic replied. The two looked over and nodded, soon Chrom turned on the motorcycle. Ruby opened the portal and the two looked back. "Please..."

"We'll be fine!"

"You better be," Ruby then sent them on their way. Chrom drove out of the portal and noticed that there was chaos surrounding the entire area.

Link asked, "Are we going to go through this alive?" Chrom looked down at the engine and looked at the chaos. The people were distracted by attempting to murder each other. Then data appeared on Chrom's screen on the motorcycle.

Chrom analyzed, "With this data I have in my hands, we can drive around the area. Let's just pray nobody tries touching us." Link nodded while Chrom drove off avoiding as many people as possible.
