The heroes were all asleep. None of them had any idea of what was going on in the distance. However, Chrom was writing in a journal documenting everything that happened over the couple of years. He had a very clear memory of what happened. Suddenly in the very far distance he saw storm clouds sending absurd amounts of electricity.

"What is going on..." Chrom put his journal away and walked up a hill to see what was going on in the distance. He couldn't tell what was going on but it seemed serious. Chrom watched in horror as the storm clouds were going out of control. All he knew was that it was coming from Dawn City.

He stood there staring at the entire chaos that was going on. Feeling himself became more and more uneasy as it continued on. He felt himself just wanting to do something, no reason to stand around!

Chrom grunted, "Damn it! What are they trying to do now!?" Chrom looked over and noticed there was someone walking in the distance. Walking towards Chrom, a black tall figure. They weren't super tall but tall enough to look like a human. Yet something was off-putting about how the figure was.

Chrom kept his sword out as he sweat, he couldn't help but feel afraid in some form. No idea why it came to him in that way but that's what came across him. Anxiety and nothing else. There were no words... Silence overwhelmed him whole, yet he couldn't stop and back down...

"Mr... Lowell..."

"How do you know... my name?"

"I want you to meet the new Magnus..."

"But he's... dead..." The person revealed themselves to Chrom. Both of them stood there staring at one another. One deadpan and the other shaking in fear. "No... I thought..." Chrom tightened his grip on his sword as he walked a few steps backward as they grinned at him.

The person laughed, "Do you like the new look? I learned that perhaps maybe since the look I had didn't work so I decided to dye my entire hair white and change my entire color scheme to dark colors. There's no more red. Just white and black..."

"You're alive Magnus..."

"HELL YEAH I AM LOWELL! YOU HAVE NOTHING AGAINST ME!!" Chrom looked Magnus in the eyes. Swirls filled him as he noticed his body looked pale. So much had changed about him. He was no longer the same dictator man Chrom once knew. This was someone new, a demon to be specific...

Chrom gasped, "There's no logical reason as to why you're alive!" He felt himself sweating a lot more as Magnus glared at him. He clapped his hands together and then smiled widely at Chrom. Chrom felt himself feeling beyond terrified as Magnus walked closer to him.

"Oh yes there is Lowell, I know there's a logical reason behind everything!"

"YOU'RE LYING!! MAGNUS HAD RED HAIR, AND RED EYES! YET HERE YOU ARE WITH WHITE HAIR, SWIRLY EYES!?" Chrom shouted as he pointed the sword. He couldn't help but feel afraid. His hands were shaking. Nothing was helping him fight this fear, he was beyond terrified. The despair scared him to death, Magnus was no different.

Magnus laughed, "Well the power I gained ended up changing who I am entirely. You ran over my dead corpse and I was rebirthed into this madman as you like to call me. Don't you think it's the most amazing thing ever?"

"ARE YOU INSANE?!"

"If anyone is insane, it has to be you. You cannot face the beauty of who the new Magnus is now. I rebirthed thanks to you and now... nothing will stop me..." Magnus shot a beam at Chrom and he fell directly onto the ground. His face felt a slight burn against it.

Chrom grunted, "Why... why have you returned?" Chrom walked backward as he raised his sword even higher. Glaring down at Magnus as he stood there staring at Chrom. "TELL ME!"

"Why wouldn't I come back to haunt your dreams? You're so afraid of me it's hilarious!"

"YOU TRAUMATIZED EVERYONE THAT SURROUNDED ME! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR WHATEVER YOU HAVE DONE TO US!!" Chrom screamed in tears. Magnus looked at him and smiled. Chrom felt his face becoming red with rage but he couldn't let the anger consume him. He had to take this in a strategic way.

Magnus laughed, "And thank goodness I did. I would be so afraid if I didn't inflict any emotional/mental damage to you and all your allies." Chrom fell onto the ground holding onto his chest as Magnus' laughter echoed through his ears. Nothing was going to save him from this moment.

"Chrom... don't lose yourself yet..." Chrom whispered to himself as he looked up to Magnus. Magnus shot another beam at him as Chrom barely dodged.

Magnus sighed, "One way or another, one of us is going to die. I wonder if that will be you or... you..."

"FACE IT MAGNUS! WE WILL FIND A WAY TO MURDER YOU! I GUARANTEE THAT! YOU WILL NEVER FIND A WAY TO CONQUER ALL OF DAWN! YOU WILL LOSE!!"

"Wrong..."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WRONG?!"

"You little dumb asshole... when will you learn... you can never save your home... Not again. Not ever again, your home is lost... thanks to me.

Thanks for playing my game..." Chrom eyes widened in shock. He stood there as he lowered his sword.

Chrom muttered, "Thanks for... playing... your... game?..."
