"Run, Before It's Too Late" ~ Chapter 130

Chrom explained, "As much as a big help you are to us Elfilin, you're going to die here... just run before you die..." Chrom looked away as he thought about the promise they made to one another...

"Thanks guys, I know you will forever stay at my side too..." Chrom smiled gently at them as they all hugged together. "Promise you guys won't leave me?" The two nodded as Elfilin put his hand in the middle. They all smiled at one another as Alear stretched.

"The promise is sealed! Now let's go ahead and find a place to stay, it's getting very late now and I'm so exhausted,"

"B-But I want to help you guys!" Elfilin cried as he looked at everyone. Chrom shook his head as his anger was building up more.

"YOU HAVE TO RUN!" Chrom yelled while in tears. Elfilin looked at everyone and nodded. He got up and then flew further away from the heroes.

Elfilin asked, "Do you really want me to run away? I can always help you guys go to freedom! Besides, we made that promise just as you said!" Chrom shook his head as more tears came rushing down from his eyes. He turned away from Elfilin as Alear took over.

"I'm sorry Elfilin but we have no choice, we love you dearly and we would rather give up our lives than to see your hurt and die in our hands," Alear explained. Elfilin looked at the ground and flew to the heroes. He hugged them all tightly.

Elfilin cried, "I don't like this war at all! I don't like that we have to keep saying goodbye to each other! I don't like it at all! I miss when we were all happy!" The others looked at him and soon they began to cry. Elfilin flew into their arms as Chrom hugged him tightly.

"I miss that too Elfilin, but we have to do it for your safety..." Chrom explained. Then out of nowhere he heard a gunshot. Chrom dodged the gunshot but he had let go of Elfilin, leaving him vulnerable... The heroes fell onto the ground as Elfilin also fell onto the ground.

Byleth asked, "What the hell was that?!"

"AHAHAHAH! YOU WILL DIE HERE AND NOW YOU LITTLE CREATURE!" Magnus laughed in the distance. Chrom looked at Elfilin who was bleeding again. Chrom looked down in horror as the others glared at Magnus.

Alear shouted, "DON'T YOU GO NEAR US!!" Then another gunshot happened. Alear looked over and saw... Elfilin's dead body. "NO!!!" The three gathered around his corpse as Magnus vanished from the scene. Chrom attempted to attack him but he was gone right as he appeared. He dashed over to Elfilin and saw his bleeding body.

Chrom screamed, "NO!!! YOU COULD'VE LIVED! THIS WOULDN'T HAD HAPPENED! YOU COULD'VE LIVED AND SAW A BETTER LIFE IF WE DIDN'T!! WHY?!" Chrom slammed his hand on the ground as he laid Elfilin on the ground again.

"ELFILIN!! ELFILIN PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE NOT DEAD!!" Alear cried. The three were in tears as they stared down at Elfilin's dead body. There was no telling but... it seemed the truth was sealed. HJe was dead.

Byleth cried, "Why am I so bad at saving everyone from death!? WHY AM I SO BAD AT THIS!?" The other two looked at Byleth and hugged him tightly as they all continued crying and crying.

"I DON'T LIKE THIS AT ALL!! WHY ARE WE SUFFERING SO MUCH!? WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS HELL?!" Alear cried. The three of them couldn't stop crying. They felt themselves getting more and more miserable by the second.

Chrom cried, "I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! I JUST WISH I WASN'T SUCH A COWARD TO HURT MAGNUS! NOW THEY'RE ALL DYING BECAUSE I REFUSE TO KILL MAGNUS!"

"Chrom... this isn't your fault. Magnus is literally impossible to kill... I think now we have to accept our fate that we're going to die..."

"WE'RE NOT GOING TO DIE!!"

"Chrom..."

"I WILL NOT ALLOW US TO DIE! I DON'T WANT ANYMORE SUFFERING FROM ANY OF US! IF WE ALL DIE TOGETHER SO BE IT! I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE MAGNUS IS INJURED TO THE POINT OF NO RETURN!!" Chrom cried as he put his hands on the ground. He had lost complete control of himself.

He kept on crying and crying. The others couldn't stop crying either. They were sick and tired of everything Magnus did. Sick and tired of his stupid little crimes he was so proud of. That's all that mattered to them was Magnus was going to die one way or another.

Byleth screamed, "EVERY SINGLE DAMN DAY, MY ANGER FOR MAGNUS GROWS STRONGER EACH DAY! I WANT HIM DEAD! I WANT HIM TO BE BURNED ALIVE! I WANT HIM TO DIE A VERY PAINFUL DEATH!!"

"We're all on the same boat here Byleth, we want to see Magnus dead. Nothing is going to change how we feel about Magnus, that monster doesn't deserve to be breathing the same air as us," Alear replied while agreeing. Chrom cleared his tears and took a deep breath.

Chrom sighed, "I'm done. No more taking lives. Magnus has driven me insane and I will drive him insane as well. Not again... I don't want any more lives taken away. We will either win together or we die together."

"Yes..." The other two mumbled.
