Face to Face With Outrage ~ Chapter 148

Chrom slammed his foot on the ground and ordered, "I'M DONE WITH YOU CONSTANTLY PUSHING ME AROUND! YOU WILL FINALLY OWN UP TO YOUR ACTIONS!" Chrom kept his guard up as Magnus clapped his hands together. Chrom didn't seem to care at all.

Magnus mocked, "You really think I'm going to be the one who's owning up to his actions?! You must be stupid as hell to remotely believe that!" Chrom looked at him as he kept his sword up. Still he felt confused about the ordeal, what was he talking about?

"What are you getting at?!" Magnus then revealed had the power of the heroes residing deep within his body. He smiled wickedly at Chrom as he stood there in fear. Still, there was no backing down. Not when the final battle was coming closer and closer.

Magnus asked, "Are you scared yet? I'm so certain you are since I'm using the power of your dead friends..." Chrom looked down at his sword and then back at Magnus. He got himself in a position to attack as Magnus kept his guard up.

"Not to worry... you still have the Chaos sword," Time whispered to Chrom. Soon Chrom took out the Chaos sword as Magnus started to laugh hysterically. He smiled at the sword as Chrom didn't seem to bat an eye.

Magnus laughed, "YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO BELIEVE YOU'RE GOING TO KILL ME WITH THE DIVINE DEVASTATION SWORD?!" Chrom looked at him as he positioned himself to attack Magnus again.

"You have no idea what this sword is truly capable of, you're so gullible it's laughable. Don't make me rethink of everything..." Chrom mumbled. Magnus rolled his eyes as he snapped his fingers; suddenly Zehira appeared.

Magnus asked, "Apparently you have seen Zehira before but have you seen their human form?" Chrom lowered his sword a bit at the complete disbelief of seeing Zehira's human form.

"No... I thought..."

"You thought I was a figment of your imagination?! You're incredibly wrong on that! In fact I'm more than a figment of your imagination. I'm a demigod!"

"You told me you were a demigod when we first met. However, now you're here showing your human form. You and Magnus look awfully identical..."

Zehira laughed, "Awfully identical?! He's now my adoptive son and nothing is going to change that!" Chrom dropped his furious look and went into a calmer state of mind.

Chrom sighed, "You're just all going to die by my hands..." Chrom looked at his sword as he raised them again. The two kept on laughing at Chrom as Chrom kept staring at the two. Anger continued to fill his body, of course the two weren't going to take him seriously but he had to try.

"BOTH OF US!? YOU THINK THAT BOTH OF US ARE GOING TO DIE BY YOUR HAND?! YOU'RE GOING TO BE THE ONE WHO'S GOING TO DIE BY OUR HANDS!" Magnus laughed. Chrom looked at him and then back at his sword.

Chrom replied, "If you want to believe this way go ahead. I'm going to make sure with my strength I am able to destroy you no matter what." Time nodded as she hid behind Chrom. Chrom kept his guard up as Zehira and Magnus got together.

"HAHAHA! GO AHEAD AND TRY!!"

"Go ahead and try? I will gladly do that and we'll see who's laughing on whose grave," Chrom replied as he got ready. Magnus stared at him and yawned, then he began to laugh again. Chrom only thought Magnus was constantly making a mockery of him.

Magnus sighed, "Let's commence this fight against the moonlight?" Chrom kept his eyes locked on Magnus as Zehira walked in front of him. Chrom wanted to attack him but he backed away while rethinking. Zehira looked at Magnus as Magnus looked at him.

"We can't forget about the FLAMES!" Then flames surrounded the entire forest. Chrom shook his head and dashed out of the forest. "GET BACK HERE!!" Magnus and Zehira chased after Chrom as he tried to get back into the city.

Time asked, "Why are you running?!" Chrom looked at Time as he continued to dash ahead. He could only think of those two demigods, and how they were going to die a painful death somehow...

"I don't want to fight them in a forest, I much rather fight them in Dawn city... so this goes a little more smoother," Time nodded as they got into the city. Chrom tripped on purpose as the entire city erupted into flames.

Magnus asked, "You really thought you could run away, huh?"

"I..." Chrom looked over and saw them getting closer to him. Chrom started backing away as he was afraid. Still determined to make a change, but he couldn't back too far away. The flames were still burning in the city.

"YOU PATHETIC BEING!! I WANT TO FIGHT YOU NOW AND MAKE SURE YOU DIE! ISN'T THAT RIGHT ZEHRIA!"

Zehira mocked, "The kid's right... then we can eat your entire body as we rule over Dawn together." Chrom looked at him as he took one long deep breath as he looked at his swords.

"This is it... the final battle to determine the future of Dawn..." Chrom looked up at the two as Time put her hands on Chrom's shoulders.

"The future is in your hands..."

"The future is in MY hands..."

"You? You're kidding... the future is in OUR hands," Magnus sighed as he took out a lance. Chrom got ready.
