Resting Area ~ Chapter 112

"Welcome back home! We were so scared!" A voice called out. Kirby turned over and saw all his allies waiting for him. Kirby got himself up and got very excited. He was back home in Dreamland. However, right before he walked up to them. He noticed that... dreamland was in flames.

Kirby asked, "W-What happened to my home!? What is going on!?" Then Kirby turned around to spot Magnus in the distance. There he was, laughing at Kirby.

Magnus mocked, "You immature CHILD! You really suspect for your home to be intact?! You believe that everything is sunshine and rainbows?! You're blowing my mind!"

"I-..."

"DON'T SAY YOU DIDN'T' SUSPECT THIS! DAWN IS BEAUTIFUL! LOOK AT YOUR HOME! DREAMLAND HAS BECOME MORE BEAUTIFUL!" Magnus laughed as he looked down at Kirby. Kirby was shaking a ton, he didn't know how to feel.

Kirby whispered, "My... My home..." He watched around in horror as he felt himself crying at the scene. He fell to the ground and cried hard and long. Magnus enjoyed seeing Kirby's suffering, he believed it was everything to him. Witnessing the puffball sob...

"WHOOOO!!!!" Someone screamed. Chrom slowly opened his eyes and saw the heroes being cheerful. They were so happy with one another no words could describe how happy they were. He was confused, wasn't Dawn on fire? Did he just experience a horrible nightmare?

Chrom asked, "What's going on?"

"Huh? Who are you?"

"Me? I'm... Chrom?" Then the two heroes turned around. They were Byleth and Alear; however, they had no face. Nothing on them. "AH! WHAT THE HELL!?" The two stared down at Chrom and started walking closer and closer to him.

Byleth asked, "What's the matter?" Chrom watched in horror as he felt himself stepping backward from there. He felt sick, something about them felt weird and he was growing more and more sick by the sight of them.

"LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU AREN'T MY FRIENDS!" Chrom took out his sword and pointed it at Alear and Byleth as they proceeded to laugh at him. They pointed and made fun of him. "W-What... is going!?"

"HAHAHA! THE EXALT IS NOTHING MORE THAN A BABY!!" Alear mocked. Chrom didn't know how to feel... other than to cry. "HAHA! CRYBABY!"

Chrom shouted, "I'M SUFFERING AND HERE YOU ALL ARE INSULTING ME!" Then they shoved him to the ground, he felt an aching pain in his body as Alear and Byleth kept on laughing. Still... he couldn't stop staring at them... Thinking about how sickening they were.

Soon Alear found herself waking up all of a sudden. An empty white room where there was nobody in there. She shook her head in confusion and looked around. She sat there staring at her hands as she looked up in confusion.

Alear asked, "Hello?" Suddenly a figure that appeared to look like Chrom appeared in the distance. Alear got up and slowly walked over to them. "Chrom?" She was about to grab his shoulder when Chrom shoved her away.

"What the hell do you want," Chrom replied. Then he turned around to face Alear. Alear saw how distorted his entire face was. He smiled widely at her as she found herself shaking from fear.

Alear shouted, "STAY BACK AHHH!!!" Chrom's face was distorted beyond recognition. He stood there staring at Alear. Smiling at her, his mouth looked ready to fall off as his eyes stayed pitch black.

Chrom asked, "Aw... afraid of a little bit of change? Don't I look simply fantastic?" Chrom giggled as he walked closer to Alear. Alear stood there frozen as she saw Chrom's mouth fall off.

"AAGHHH!!!"

Amidst all the yelling Byleth heard, he woke up in confusion. He searched the area around him. He didn't know what was going on or who was responsible. Suddenly he spotted Shez in front of him. He looked at him in confusion as Shez smiled gently at him.

Byleth asked, "Is this a dream? Where are we?"

"You were dreaming, but we're here together now," Shez replied. Byleth looked at Shez and looked down at him. Shez took his hand as the two ran through the meadow fields together. They kept on running through the fields, Byleth felt relaxed but at the same time it felt weird...

Byleth asked, "Shez?" Shez didn't stop dragging him; however, Byleth couldn't stop himself either. Soon they came across a cliff.

"Hope you enjoy the dark side..." He looked at him in confusion as Shez smiled at him again.

"SHEZ?!" Then Shez launched Byleth off the cliff. "AAHHHHH!!!"

Sonic woke up in the middle Green Hill zone. A place so familiar at the same time it wasn't... there was something off putting about it. He got up and dashed around, there wasn't a single sign of life anywhere.

"Where is everyone?" Then he bumped into someone, he looked over and noticed it was Magnus.

Magnus sighed, "Just like with Kirby... I killed all his friends. Now what lies here is simply flames." Magnus snapped his fingers as Green Hill got set on flames.

Sonic asked, "W-What did you do?" Magnus took out his sword and dashed at Sonic.

"AHHHH!!!" The heroes screamed as they all woke up together. However, Elfilin was the only one that was still asleep. The heroes couldn't stop talking over each other as they tried describing their dreams. Still... What was that?! What was it about!?
