Planning Out Strategy ~ Chapter 24

"I really hope we can take them down... I know there's a lot of us around here but we are sure of how strong these induced people are..." Azura muttered. She looked around the area and noticed that the induced souls were still ordered in a battle format.

Byleth muttered, "Shoot. At any point they could crowd us and gather us at once." Byleth looked around and then turned toward his teammates. "Do any of you have input?"

Shez suggested, "What if someone walks in as bait, they hoard that person and we charge in?" Chrom walked up to Byleth and took a deep breath.

"I think it's time for you to try something else, why don't you put your mind to it and think of any possible outcome."

"What, are you crazy?! I don't have future predictions as an ability!?"

"Just try to think of a prediction! Trust me if you do it'll be better in hindsight on what we should do,"

"He makes a valid point about making a prediction, predictions are always helpful," Albedo replied while agreeing with Chrom. Byleth looked toward the crowd and took a deep breath.

Byleth explained, "I predict that if we used Shez's idea it would backfire upon us and would end up murdering the person we sent out."

"Alright so if that's a possibility then we should avoid making this move," Eula explained. The others nodded.

Tails thought, "None of them are moving, it seems like they want the heroes to make the first move..." Azura nodded and watched the crowd simply watch the heroes think about the plans they were devising.

"Alright, is it possible you can make a prediction of a plan we can use?" Hajime asked. Byleth nodded and looked back at the crowd of induced people. All just standing there watching the heroes.

Byleth explained, "I got somewhat of an idea... I just pray it works. This plan revolves around us separating. I suggest that Mario and Sonic head toward the left to get half of the crowd locked on them. Then on the right side we can send out Chrom and Kirby to get the other half of the crowd locked on them. While those four are busy the rest of us alongside Azura and Tails can start fighting the despair induced souls.

As we continue using this plan it should eventually end with all of them dead but that plan is the only one I came up with that ends up leading to a good end for us. All the other ones I came up with ended up leading toward nothing more but disaster."

"This is extremely full-fledged, are you sure you're making normal predictions?" Niko questioned. Byleth looked at him and then looked down at him.

Zhongli asked, "Is it possible that the gods have blessed you with some type of secret ability?"

"I believe so... after Chrom told me to make predictions, these predictions appeared... real. They appeared to be from a forsaken future that was yet to arrive... it was interesting to say the least..." Byleth explained.

Chrom said, "Well I'm glad the gods were able to bless you with a good ability. It's going to be very useful in the long term." The other heroes nodded in agreement and got into formation. Sonic and Mario were on the left while Chrom and Kirby were on the right.

Time whispered, "Byleth's ability has now been fully accessed. You are responsible for guiding your friends toward a world of victories. You will receive your power once you guide them all to that path of victory." Chrom stared at his feet and then looked toward Byleth.

"Perhaps... maybe this was my duty to guide them better. As the Exalt of Ylisse I have to prove myself worthy of this title and protect those who surround me, I promise to keep them safe and guide them well. You have my word Time..."

Time giggled, "I'm glad that you're now accustomed to this title. I hope that you use your strength and wisdom for the greater good. However, I must warn you something... Magnus is worse than you think of him. He may appear normal at first but as time progresses he will get worse overtime..." Chrom nodded and Byleth looked around to see the order of how everyone was.

Byleth took a deep breath and whispered, "This ability is now under my command. I have to use it for the greater good of this world..." Byleth rose up his sword and then pointed it toward the crowd. "NOW!" Soon Sonic, Mario, Kirby, and Chrom dashed ahead. The despair induced souls ended up splitting into two.

Albedo gasped, "The plan... it's working!"
