Byleth grunted, "DON'T DIE ON ME YET! ARAGH! COME ON!!" Byleth kept on trying to heal Kirby but his magic wasn't working. Eventually he drained himself and fell into Alear's hands. Chrom looked at him in disbelief as he looked toward Kirby.

Chrom whispered, "You... seriously cannot last anymore longer?"

"I'm sorry, I can't... no matter what I end up trying nothing seems to work... sorry," Kirby groaned as he looked up into the sky. Elfilin hugged Kirby tightly as he began to cry. The others felt themselves shaking but Chrom was still determined to keep Kirby alive. He looked through their bags for something to heal Kirby with.

Elfilin cried, "Please don't die on me Kirby! I love you so much you simply can't!" Elfilin kept on crying as Kirby kept on hugging him tightly. Alear looked at them with tears in her eyes as Byleth was still trying to regain his strength as quickly as he could. Chrom was beginning to panic as he was unable to find anything to heal Kirby with.

"I'm sorry Elfilin, I just... have no choice," whispered Kirby as he smiled at Elfilin. Elfilin kept on crying alongside everyone else. "I remember our happy days with each other. If we all end up dying one by one, at least soon we'll be able to meet with each other again."

Alear sighed, "I guess you make a strong argument, but you can't die! You're just so powerful I'm surprised you're even dying!" Byleth nodded as he closed his eyes to regain more of his strength. Chrom pulled his hair in anger as he was unable to find anything.

"I know it's crazy isn't it?" Kirby questioned as he stared up to the sky. "That's life however, there is no happy ending no matter how hard you want to believe it or not... I just wish... I could've lived to see Dawn happy again." Chrom looked down at himself in defeat as he looked toward Kirby.

Chrom whispered, "Soon Dawn will be happy again. I know it will." Kirby looked at Chrom and smiled. Then he finally let out his last breath of air. Kirby had passed away officially and had joined the other sixteen team members. Chrom couldn't feel any emotion anymore, seeing so much blood and so much death. It felt too familiar to him...

"Kirby..."

"Died at the merciless hand of Magnus, all of them did..." Alear muttered as she began to cry. Byleth opened his eyes as saw Kirby dead on the ground. He felt defeated as he began to cry as well. Elfilin started to cry really hard as Chrom looked into the sky with tears in his eyes, he felt himself wanting to just... give up.

Elfilin cried, "KIRBY CAN'T BE DEAD! NONONONO!! THIS HAS TO BE A BAD DREAM! JUST WAKE UP ELFILIN! THIS ISN'T OKAY!!" He kept on flying around in circles while in tears. Alear looked at Elfilin and stopped him. She grabbed him and hugged him as they cried together.

Byleth cried, "MY HEALING NEVER SEEMS TO WORK NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY! WHY AM I SUCH A FAILURE?!" Byleth slammed his head into his hands as he continued to cry. Chrom looked down at the sword as it shined white. Chrom cleared his tears as he kept staring at the chaos sword. He took a moment to breathe as Time appeared and tapped Chrom on the shoulder.

Time whispered, "We need to hurry up and defeat Magnus as soon as possible. There's no way this man is going to breathe another breath again."

"We need to mourn first... sixteen of our members are dead, all their lives were taken away from us, I just wish we could've done more to save them..." Chrom whispered as he looked down at the ground. The dark dirty ground only made him cry even harder.

Alear whispered, "Magnus is going to keep on taking more and more lives until one of us stands and he finds a way to kill us..." The other three nodded as Alear continued hugging Elfilin.

Byleth sighed, "Magnus... we will make sure that monster dies by our hands. I'm not going to let him take anymore of us away. He is just doing all he wants to do..." Chrom didn't say anything as he looked toward the sky, the ashy red sky...

"EXACTLY!" Alear replied as the two hugged. Chrom kept on staring into the sky as tears flooded his eyes again. He couldn't help but feel so guilty for everything that had happened. He felt like he was unable to save anyone anymore, people dying and there was no way to bring them back.

Chrom muttered, "They died at my hand... I'm responsible for their deaths. But as time itself it is my duty to make sure they get avenged. Once Magnus dies, it is all over for him. I will not let him take hold of me again and let him manipulate me all he wants to."

"You were talking Chrom?"

"It's... It's not important," Chrom replied as he looked down at himself in shambles. He took a deep breath and stood up. He walked away from everyone else as they got up and followed after him.

Alear questioned, "Where are you going Chrom?"

"I'm moving ahead so we can stop crying... I just hate crying about each of them. It gets me more and more miserable each time," Chrom replied. The heroes nodded as they followed after. Elfilin looked back at Kirby, cried again and followed after the heroes.
