"After searching through many, many, MANY books, I can conclude that... there's no actual proof time itself exists," Byleth groaned. The heroes all looked at one another and had disappointment on their faces.

Zhongli groaned, "No no! There has to be some trace of time itself somewhere within these texts! I know there has to be!" The heroes looked at him in confusion as Zhongli frantically tried looking around for something. Byleth then tapped him on the shoulder as the two looked toward where Hajime was.

"Zhongli, I get you're the geo archon of Liyue and you know so much but perhaps you don't know about time itself. Maybe the gods were playing tricks on you," Hajime suggested.

Mario replied, "Hajime, Zhongli knows more about the Dawn's history than we do. He knows where the borders are, he knows how to shut down the realm borders. This is for sure something he remembers." The heroes nodded in agreement. Just like that, a book accidentally fell on Marianne's head. However, it wasn't anything important. "Darn..."

Ayato questioned, "But the question is, why exactly was time erased from Zhongli's memory? Naturally he's a god so he would remember, but why were they removed?" The heroes all stood there thinking for a moment.

"Perhaps so no Dawn folks find out of its existence, Erica is greedy in that sense and she would want to get rid of everyone that stands in her way. What if time itself existed but Erica banished them?" Chrom suggested.

Shez responded, "That's a very valid point to make! Erica would do everything in her power to make sure time itself doesn't win. But if she doesn't like the setting right now, why doesn't she do something about the entire situation? Why is she putting this all in her protector's hands?"

"She's afraid of course, she doesn't want to attempt anything good for the people," Kazuha mocked. The heroes laughed when suddenly the door started to move, shaking more and more.

Yae Miko whispered, "Someone is trying to break in..." Then the doors bursted open. They managed to use the bookcase as a weapon as more people came running in. People came running in fighting each other. Murdering and stabbing each other.

Marianne gasped while panicking, "We're trapped in here! They're going to affect us, then we're going to DIE FROM EACH OTHER!!!" Byleth rubbed Marianne's back as she took a few deep breaths to calm herself.

"Marianne calm yourself, I can promise you we're not going to die," Shez reassured. That's when Byleth suddenly got a bright idea. He let go of Marianne and extended his sword to break the window. The heroes looked over as Byleth tightened his gloves.

Byleth ordered, "GRAB ON EACH OTHER NOW!" The heroes did what Byleth had asked and Byleth launched them out the window. They all landed onto the ground but they had to get out immediately before anyone found them.

Albedo sighed, "If only we can find the location of the Dawn Library, from there I'm sure we can find answers." The heroes nodded in agreement as they dashed through the forest. They looked behind them and it didn't seem like anyone was following them.

Eula thought, "Where are we going next? We don't know where to go because this entire planet is in practical flames right now." The heroes all stood there waiting for an answer. It felt like so many thoughts were roaming through their heads. That's when Mario looked up and toward the heroes.

Mario suggested, "I suppose we can camp out near Lake Drain. It's most likely a place that isn't affected by the mess people are creating around here." The heroes nodded before Byleth interrupted them.

Byleth questioned, "Isn't Lake Drain dangerous? It can drain all our powers away and it could potentially cause more damage to us rather than helping." The heroes looked toward him and then back toward Mario. Some of them were worried while others were completely fine with going to Lake Drain either way.

"Good point, but doesn't it only drain power from you if you go inside the lake itself?" Mario pointed out. Byleth thought for a moment and then slowly nodded.

Kazuha sighed, "I think it's a good place to go. We can camp there and stay away from the lake. I doubt anyone would want to go there." The heroes nodded and continued running. Marianne got the help of Shez to help carry Kazuha.

Sonic asked, "Do any of us know where Lake drain is anyways?"

"No, but we do have a map on our communicators so, we're fine for the long term," Albedo replied. He pulled up the map and was able to easily find Lake Drain on the map. "Alright, let's hurry ourselves up and get out of here as fast as possible."

Yae Miko sighed, "Good point, let's hurry." Then they dashed on ahead. Leaving the chaotic city behind. The heroes dashed through the forest trying to avoid being spotted but it felt like they were criminals. Runaway criminals that couldn't do anything about the events that were happening.

It only seemed that the road directly in front of them just got longer and longer the more they ran for. Hell, some of the heroes just felt miserable at the same time. How about the rest? They were determined but was it really enough to save Dawn? They had to save themselves first...

But it was just only mere thoughts, the long road was still waiting for them ahead. Lake Drain was just a destination. Who knew what was left to happen... a new future filled with destruction and chaos.
