"Aww... you guys are now working together to make sure nobody dies?" Magnus took out a gun and got ready to shoot the heroes. However, Chrom shot an arrow at Magnus before had a chance of hitting them. Magnus shot into the air and it ended up hitting a tree.

Chrom ordered, "I also suggest you don't go anywhere near my allies." Chrom dashed after Magnus as the other two followed after him. They slammed their weapons against him and caused him to fall backward. This time he wasn't laughing each time they hurt him. He was furious.

Magnus explained, "I'm done laughing at every single damn injury you attempt to do to me. This time I will make sure that you guys die and we'll see who's laughing when that happens." Chrom tightened his grip on his sword as he looked at Magnus dead in the eyes.

"You won't be laughing? Well that gives us more the reason to attack you," Chrom replied with a smirk. He dashed at him as the group slammed their swords against Magnus. He hit a tree again and then got ready to shoot the heroes. He shot a bullet but the heroes safely dodged it.

Magnus grunted, "You little brats, thinking you will find a way to live through this all..."

"I don't care if we don't end up living through this nightmare but all that matters is you're DEAD!" Chrom shouted. He stabbed Magnus in the arm in sheer rage as the three joined in. They stabbed his arm as he screamed in agony.

Magnus screamed, "AHHHHH!!! YOU BASTARDS! I'M GOING TO MAKE SURE I FIND A WAY TO KILL ALL OF YOU!!" Then he shot a beam at them. They all fell backward as Chrom held tight on his bow and arrow. Magnus smiled at them as he got ready to shoot the three of them. Within a flash Chrom stopped time.

Time sighed, "We're so close to being able to defeat him..." Chrom nodded as the two dashed at Magnus. Soon Chrom started doing as many attacks on Magnus as possible. Injuring him in every shape and form. Magnus kept getting stabbed and stabbed until Chrom was finally done.

"Is that enough?"

"That should be a enough for him to consider retreating..." Chrom nodded as he jumped back. He unfroze Time again as Magnus immediately tumbled onto the ground.

Magnus yelled, "HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO DO THAT?! THERE'S NO REASON AS TO WHY YOU HAVE THE POWER TO REMOTELY DO THAT! THAT'S SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!" Chrom looked at him and glared him down. Magnus was unable to get up.

Chrom explained, "This may not make sense to you but it makes enough sense to me. No matter what you cannot find a way to kill all three of us. That is something that is simply not possible for you to perform." Magnus looked at Chrom and then shot him in the arm. "AH!" He fell down as Byleth and Alear dashed in to protect him.

Magnus groaned, "If I can't find a way to destroy the Exalt. I have no choice but to give it my all..." Then he shot Alear and Byleth in the shoulders as well. They fell directly onto the ground and then looked up at Mangus. The three were stuck in pain while Magnus was able to heal himself with ease.

Chrom asked, "What the hell do you want from us?! WHY DO YOU WISH TO KILL US SO BADLY?!"

"I WISH YOU WERE ALL DEAD SO I CAN FINALLY GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE GREATEST UPTON FAMILY MEMBER TO EVER EXIST!" Magnus screamed. Then he took out his playing deck. Chrom looked at him and then horror came across his face.

"The next person in their family line is Magnus, he is known as 'The Hero Destroyer,' his goal is getting rid of the heroes with these unique playing cards, they have an ace of spades on it. If you're hit by it you'll get seriously injured, too many times and you would be murdered..."

Chrom ordered, "YOU GUYS NEED TO GET UP NOW!!" The two looked at Chrom but they didn't have the strength to get up. "COME ON!!!"

Byleth grunted, "I can't... the blood loss is so intense!"

"YOU HAVE TO! JUST GET UP!!" Chrom got up first and helped the other two get up. All three of them held tight to their shoulders as they stared at Magnus.

Magnus laughed, "I bet you're wondering why I have this deck of cards with me. If you knew the whole story this wouldn't be so difficult to understand..."

"I KNOW DAMN WELL YOU'RE GOING TO TRY KILLING US!" Chrom screamed as he held tight on his injury.

Magnus mocked, "Me? Kill you guys with a deck of cards?! Why in the world would I do such a thing?"

"THAT'S SOMETHING THAT IS PASSED DOWN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION! YOU'RE GOING TO THROW THAT AT US AND KILL US!" Chrom shouted in pain. He had tears in his eyes and tried raising his bow but he couldn't. He fell against the tree.

Alear asked, "How do you even know this information?!"

"I know too much about the Upton Liege... we can't let them kill us..."

"Oh but you will," Suddenly Magnus took out an ace of spades. Chrom looked at him and tried throwing a dagger. He managed to throw it but it was so poorly thrown it didn't come close to touching Magnus. "You want to protect your friends that badly don't you? Well... let's see how you can handle this!" Then Magnus took out an ace of clubs playing card. He threw it at Chrom which caused him to fall onto the ground.

Alear shouted, "CHROM!?" They took out their weapons and got ready to defend themselves. Chrom was breathing but he was unable to wake up. "CHROM?! ARE YOU THERE?!"

Magnus laughed, "He's unconscious right now and I want to also make sure you are all going to die here and now."

"NEVER IN OUR ENTIRE LIVES!"

"Yes you will..." Then he threw the cards directly at Alear and Byleth.
