The heroes followed Tails and Azura back to the workshop and noticed the bus was actually there. It was somewhat broken down but it seemed to be in a good enough condition to be renovated thoroughly.
"While we were coming here I noticed the bus was broken down near Hero Town, so I decided to take it and renovate it a bit. Now that I have full permission I can add the necessary details for it to get working again," Tails explained as he showed the broken down bus. The heroes looked around and smiled.
Mario replied, "I appreciate you for finding our bus. I was worried you would have to work on it from scratch." Tails smiled and continued working on the bus. The heroes left the blueprints by his workbench and walked away slowly.
Kazuha sighed, "So once that's done being built we're going to head out?" Mario turned to Kazuha and nodded. Some of the heroes felt slightly worried about the idea while others were more than ready to get moving.
"Pretty much, as much as I love staying here, Jade and Ruby did ask us to do something for them. Just to find a way in order to defeat Magnus," Mario replied. Chrom looked up at the sky and it was the same eerie red sky as before. He felt himself slightly shivering from the sight of it but he stood tall just to not let himself down.
Chrom sighed, "I'm becoming more and more weary. The blue sky hasn't returned in such a long time. It's leaving me so nervous." The heroes looked up at the sky and back down at the ground. Meanwhile Tails was busy fixing up the bus. Azura and Alm came walking by to see what he was doing.
Azura questioned, "Working on the hero bus? That sure must be a lot of work." Tails got out from underneath the bus and waved at Azura and Alm as they waved back at him.
"I quite enjoy the challenge to be fair, it's a nice change of pace and you guys know how much I love working with mechanics, it's one of my talents and one of the many things I love to do," Tails replied with a smile. Alm looked up at the bus and saw how huge it was.
Alm asked, "Do the heroes really need a party bus for their travels? What if they get harmed in the process? We can't really allow that to happen can we?" Azura stood there in silence as she felt herself wanting to agree with Alm.
"It's what the heroes want. I do what I need to do. After all their best mechanics handed me blueprints so it's not as bad as you think," Tails replied. Alm looked back at the bus and looked at it nervously. "Plus they prefer to keep the rusty design so it's less easy to spot when passing by. I'll add a few coats of paint to make it look more rusted."
Alm suggested, "Will that be enough? Based on the blueprints they're also asking for the top to be a bedroom area. Wouldn't that clash with the hidden features of the bus? Why can't they sleep on the seats if they need to get some rest?"
"Problem, there's 3 seats per aisle, so divide that between 21 seats and you get only seven rows. They're going to be crammed in there sitting next to each other. Sure they're going to be standing up but what about those who don't like being close to others who are sleeping?"
"They could use sleeping bags?"
"There's not enough space if they even did that, the ground area can fit a maximum of 4 people. If 7 people take the rows. That's only 11 people that can sleep. While you make valid points, the heroes know what they need and what they don't need," Azura explained.
Alm replied, "I guess you make somewhat of a point. Sorry if I got a little too far ahead in my head. That's on me for being so paranoid about losing the heroes."
Tails responded with a smile, "Don't you worry about a thing. The heroes are doing everything they can to make sure none of them fall in battle. They'll be dealing with a lot but they're skilled and know what to do." Alm nodded and then noticed Celica was walking over as well.
Celica laughed, "Sorry for the interruption, Tails but I want to make sure this all goes well. Anyways, I need to borrow Alm for a little. Hope you don't mind." Tails nodded and soon the two left the building. Azura watched as Tails worked on the bus.
"This appears to be quite a bit, do you wish for me to help you with the gear?" Azura questioned. Tails nodded and together the two started working on the bus together. Laughing with one another as they continued. But soon that happiness stopped as Celica was reminded of something.
Celica sighed, "You... Are you guys aware of the situation that happened a few weeks ago?"
"The Brodian Train crash that was set to arrive here?" Tails asked. Celica looked down at herself in silence and slowly nodded. "Yeah the train was hijacked by someone that was induced but I heard the second prince of Brodia and a royal noble took down the train." Celica didn't know what to say, she felt herself just getting quiet.
Azura reassured, "I know it's hard to hear about losing others but what those two did was to protect others from being sent to a much worse fate." Celica nodded as the two smiled at one another.
