The heroes were walking through the forest. The sky was red and cloudy; however, there was rain pouring down on the ground. They were soaking wet but they didn't have a choice, they just had to keep on trying to get away from everything that was happening.

"I wish we had something to cover ourselves with, like an umbrella of some sort. Agent 4 has his own specialized umbrella to prevent dying due to rain," Yae Miko sighed. The others nodded in agreement. They traveled as a pack so nobody would lose each other.

Elfilin sighed, "The more we travel with one another, the more I realize how horrific our world is transforming into." The heroes paused as Chrom looked down at himself. He tried cleaning himself off but no luck, his clothing was absolutely soaked.

"Don't you find it at least somewhat strange how all these events spawned out of nowhere?! Of course there's a person behind these events but what exactly is causing them to do this?! Did Ruby and Jade know about these already?!" Chrom asked. Albedo looked toward him in confusion as some of the heroes whispered to one another.

Albedo questioned, "Aren't you being a little too heavy with the questions-"

"ALBEDO! What if they're trying to leave us traumatized?! What if they wanted all of these to happen?! What if they orchestrated the events at once?! This is what happens when the reality we're dealing with finally sinks in at long last!" Chrom replied while in anger. The heroes tried holding him back but he broke free from their grip.

Mario asked, "Chrom, what are you trying to imply about?" Chrom looked at him in anger as Chrom turned away from Mario.

"This is serious, our people are dying. Ruby and Jade say that they have no idea, but is that really the case?!" Chrom put his hand on his chest and felt tears streaming down but he cleared them away as quickly as possible. Mario looked down at himself as Shez nodded in agreement.

"He has a strong valid point about this, Ruby and Jade are siblings with one another. Also, Ruby attempted to cause some harm to us. The moment we helped Marianne it was like all of a sudden, BAM the world was in flames. It's so sudden!?" Shez replied while agreeing with Chrom.

The heroes eventually started to agree with Chrom and Shez. It did seem like out of nowhere, it seemed semi-orchestrated as well, it looked like the world was supposed to transform in this way, what were Ruby and Jade's true goals? They were gods of their own, with mysterious hidden identities but what were they doing?

Eula questioned, "Do you think we're even trusting the right people about this? This just seems so... strange and unlikely. I don't want to believe that this is the case at all but..." The heroes looked at her and hesitated to even agree or disagree with her.

"We have to trust our guts more than our brains. We can't let our brains just be the whole entire reason as to why we end up dying to some random gods that we barely had any information about, we can trust in the goddess more than them..." Albedo replied. Chrom glanced over at Albedo and then looked toward everyone else.

Chrom explained, "We can't even trust our goddess either-"

"Just because you have traumatizing memories from the goddess doesn't mean you downgrade your allies in the process," Chrom looked immediately up and everyone stared at him in confusion. He didn't know who was talking to him, it was all so sudden.

Zhongli questioned, "You were saying?" Chrom shook his head, still distraught by the sudden voice that had just talked to him. Chrom looked at Zhongli and took a deep breath.

"I was saying that we can't trust Erica either, she hasn't been doing much to our world and trying to assist in stopping the events, some lazy person she is..." Chrom groaned.

Kirby looked at Chrom and asked, "How do you know that Mother Erica is a lazy person? Have you seen her in person?" Chrom stared at Kirby and blushed in embarrassment. Kirby kept on staring at him as the heroes all looked toward Chrom.

"No... but I can confidently say she isn't a good person either. Imagine sending down your protector gods to fight off these strange catastrophic events that are happening, but you don't send them any aid..." The heroes still were confused and had no idea what Chrom was trying to tell them. However, it did seem valid and made somewhat sense.

Ayato asked, "Should we try asking the protector gods and see if they know anything about the occurring events that are happening?" The heroes nodded and continued walking down the path.

"How certain are you that the protector gods do know anything?" Link asked. Ayato walked in silence as Kirby tapped Link.

Kirby sighed, "They have to know something! They're our protector gods for a reason! They can't stand there in silence and honestly it's sinking into me that maybe Chrom was actually right about Erica."

"SEE?!"

"Look, Chrom has a valid point... but we have to make sure it's true!" Mario replied.

Hajime groaned, "They're not going to admit that it's true, let's all brace ourselves for them to deny any of the events were their fault. Plus there's no way they're going to admit to Erica being a terrible goddess. I try to see the good sides of things but I doubt Erica is actually 'perfect.'"

"Erica is nowhere near perfect... she's made so many mistakes that you can't see her as redeemable..." Chrom muttered under his breath.

Sonic asked, "Harsh much? She's a goddess but... eh you do you." Chrom looked down at himself as the heroes continued walking the pathway. All they could hear were their footsteps hitting the wet ground as they continued to be soaked all over due to the rain. Were they going to find answers or just nothing more but lies?
