"Chrom, are you certain we're going to make it till the very end?" Chrom paused before turning around toward Alear. She seemed worried for a moment as Chrom took one long deep breath. He swung his sword at the tree and took another breather.

"We have to... there's no way I'm going to let us die by his hands... after what Magnus has done to us I don't want him to do anymore..." Chrom replied as he chopped down the tree with one swoop.

Byleth said, "Your training has been really good as of late. I'm very impressed with your results! You're getting better and better each day!" Byleth clapped for Chrom as Chrom didn't seem to react at all. He just seemed too focused on what he was trying to do.

"Thanks Byleth, that means a whole lot to me since I'm trying to make sure we're strong enough to perform The Miracle," Chrom explained as he continued swinging his sword around. He looked at the tree before raising his sword again. Chopping down the tree with one swoop again.

Alear sighed, "All three of us performing that Miracle, hm? I wonder what makes it so important for us to get stronger in order for us to even have the power to perform it." Chrom stopped what he was doing and turned over to face Alear.

"It's probably a test that Time is trying to make us do. After all she knows I told you guys about her existence," Chrom replied. The two nodded as they continued training back and forth. They kept swinging their swords at the trees. Each attack they did was stronger than the last.

Time sighed, "You guys have grown so much stronger. I think we're very close to being able to perform The Miracle..." Chrom looked at Time and smiled at her. Then within a flash Alear and Byleth were able to cut down the trees with their attacks.

Chrom laughed, "That was so impressive you guys! You deserve to have some praise! We're almost there based on what Time said." Time smiled at the two as they smiled back at Chrom. They kept on training nonstop praying that this was all going to be over soon.

Byleth grunted, "I think since we are able to chop down a tree with one attack. I think we all deserve a small break." Chrom and Alear nodded as they sat down with each other. Laughing about the good memories they had with their allies.

Alear sighed, "I never knew that our friends were so special to us. I guess that just makes them more special since... well they're all dead..." Chrom looked over to her and then lowered his sword. He walked over to Alear and put his hand on her shoulder.

"We have each other and we're going to make sure we forever have each other's back!" Chrom replied with a smile. The two nodded as they continued laughing around with each other. Soon Chrom heard footsteps coming. "Do you guys... hear that?"

Byleth asked, "What was that?! Footsteps?!" They stopped whatever they were planning to do and kept their weapons up in the air. Then they saw someone walking in the distance. It seemed... familiar in some form but the heroes weren't taking any chances. Not anymore...

Alear ordered, "REVEAL YOUR IDENTITY NOW! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" The others nodded firmly as Chrom walked in front of them. Keeping his sword up high. He seemed too nervous to let his guard down. Same applied to everyone else...

"Heh... it's good to see you all again like I always say, this time I'm going to make sure I kill every single one of you and take your powers..." The voice replied. Chrom grit his teeth together and got ready to attack.

Chrom ordered, "I KNOW THAT'S YOU MAGNUS! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS AS POSSIBLE! I DON'T WANT YOU GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THEM!!" Magnus appeared from the darkness and smiled at Chrom. The heroes looked at him in horror as they saw him with a different appearance.

Magnus sighed, "You heroes are going to be crying when I kill you all tonight. Tonight is finally the day you all die. The day... the Exalt finally dies." Magnus clapped his hands together as Chrom kept his sword in the air. The other two kept their swords in the air as Magnus stopped where he was

"Never..." Chrom kept his eyes locked on Magnus, thinking about the ways he would rip him apart. Then Magnus began to chuckle. Chrom kept his eyes locked as he began gritting his teeth together. He was dead serious with Magnus, he wasn't backing down.

"Oh but you can't escape that..." He attempted to cast a spell as Chrom dodged the spell. The two stuck by his side as Chrom pointed his sword toward Magnus. "Ooh... you're being the strong one are you?"

Chrom muttered, "You always constantly insult me. Do you not have anything better to do?" Magnus pushed Chrom away with a spell as he clapped his hands together.

"Well, I can just safely say you are going to lose Chrom Lowell, those friends of yours? They don't even stand a chance against me! You guys are all failures and your life is going to be taken away..."

"NEVER! YOU WILL NEVER TAKE MY LIFE AWAY!!" Chrom kept his sword up high as the two raised their weapons.
