The bus was slowly rolling into the city. Each of the heroes jumped off the bus as Mario quickly parked it in the parking lot.
"Vivin City, it's such an honor to be back for a few days," Chrom sighed. The heroes nodded. Byleth looked at the bags they had and looked back at the heroes.
Byleth announced, "I'll go ahead and restock our entire supply list. It shouldn't take me that long." The heroes nodded as they walked off. Vivin City was the place it was right as the heroes left. It just appeared that there were not that many people there.
"Welcome back heroes, I'm glad you're going to stay a little," Ruby welcomed. The heroes nodded and they finished unpacking some of their bags. They didn't want to fully unpack since they were only staying for a little while. "I'm sure many of your friends are waiting for you."
Albedo sighed, "That's good to hear, it's been a while since we had a chance to relax ourselves. Just fighting and fighting everywhere." Ruby nodded as he guided the heroes to the central park. From there, there were people who were happily enjoying their time together.
Link noticed and said, "There's so many people out there who are enjoying themselves. Makes you think about the peacefulness that Vivin City brought to the people."
"Yes, the people haven't seen Magnus in a long time and they have been living happily ever since. Magnus has caused a ton of chaos throughout the time we were here all together but I know for a fact that this city will forever be safe," Ruby sighed. The heroes nodded in agreement and watched the people.
Kirby cheered, "Let's enjoy ourselves! Come on, we need some positivity in the group!"
"He... He does make a point," Shez replied. The heroes looked at each other and agreed. They walked into the park and sat down. Kirby and Elfilin were happily dashing through the park as Alear kept an eye on them. The heroes just sat there watching everyone enjoy themselves.
Alear asked, "Why won't you guys enjoy yourselves at least a little? We all earned it so come on!" The heroes didn't reply but just stared at Alear. She became a little weary and took a deep breath. "I know how you all feel, I get it. We can't continue to act so sad and miserable all the time. Come on, we need to do something about this."
"What do you propose we do? This is a park where mostly children play in, what do you want us to do? Act like children?"
"Absolutely not! You're twisting my words! We can do some fun things... like charades! Or maybe we can play... um..."
"Exactly," Byleth tilted his head toward the sky and took a giant sigh. Some of the heroes got up and walked around the park. Alear stood there staring at everyone, not sure what to say or do. Most of the heroes were absolutely miserable to the brink of no happiness.
Alear groaned, "This blood red sky is ruining our spirits, well that doesn't matter. I'll have to get them entertained somehow..." Alear walked over to the heroes and looked at each of them. "Come on! I will not let you guys stay here and be miserable as hell! Not happening!"
Zhongli sighed, "Alear can you give us a moment please?"
"Alright fine, only because I'm nice enough to give you the chance to have a moment. Some of you guys can be so dry and miserable," Alear replied. She walked off from the group and walked toward the water fountain. "Each of the heroes have zero energy to do anything remotely exciting. Elfilin and Kirby are children, they are always excited about things. We're the only people on the team with remotely high spirits..." She touched the fountain water and took a deep breath.
She looked around the entire park. Some of the heroes were examining the trees around the park. Others were watching the children play. Alear noticed Kirby and Elfilin slowly running off away from the park. She got up and dashed after them. Soon she noticed... She was inside an alleyway.
"Kirby! Elfilin! Where are you guys!?" Alear shouted. She looked around the entire room and didn't see anyone nearby. "KIRBY!!! ELFILIN-"
"HELPPP!!!!" A voice shouted. Alear dashed her way over to where she heard the voice but she didn't see anything. "SOMEONE!! HELP!!" Alear kept running down the alleyway to see if she could find them. Nothing, where could the two be?!
Alear shouted, "HANG ON I'M COMING!!" She kept on running until she tripped on something. She noticed within her own eyes Kirby and Eliflin were tied up to a tree. "What happened?!" Kirby tried steering Alear toward what was going on but soon Alear was slapped.
"ALEAR!" Elfilin shouted. She fell forward and felt that her face was bleeding slightly. Then she turned around and noticed...
Alear asked, "W-What the hell?! What's... what's a dragon doing here?!" She looked over and noticed the huge dragon. She took out her sword and pointed it at the dragon, she was unsure what to do. The dragon noticed her and then looked down at her. "W-What do you want from us?! TELL ME! NO-NOW!"
The dragon replied, "I just wanted to prey on the little heroes around here. Since you're one of them I guess I have no choice but to take your lif-"
"HAH!" Alear noticed from the corner of her eye that the heroes were dashing over. Chrom just did the attack and the dragon lifted up. The citizens all started to run away and Marianne untied the two.
The dragon laughed, "There's all the heroes... I was hoping you all show up. Now... let the fun begin..."
