"What did you need me for?" Claude asked as he climbed up the hillside nearly out of breath. Chrom helped him up to the top and held his hands. The two crossed eyes again and felt themselves both blushing again.
Chrom asked, "I'll start easy, how are you?"
"I'm doing alright, I know working has stressed you out but I'm doing just fine," Claude replied. Chrom looked at him and nodded. "How about you? How are you doing?"
Chrom replied, "I'm messy. Four of the heroes have died, I'm stressed, I'm out of control. I'm literally lashing out at my friends. I'm such a disaster..." Claude gently put his hand on Chrom's cheek. Chrom saw him before smiling gently at him, but it felt like a smile of sadness.
"You're not a disaster Chrom, you're just going through a lot and you're stressed out. I'm certain all you need is some time off to enjoy and relax yourself," Claude replied as he kissed his cheek.
Chrom sighed, "You make a point, I just been so out of control it's impossible to control myself. I don't understand what I'm getting myself into. I just want this to be all over..." He grabbed his head as Claude grabbed his shoulder.
"Chrom... you're going to be perfectly alright," Claude replied. The two looked at each other in the eyes, mesmerized by one another. They couldn't help but gently kiss under the setting sun. While it was hard to tell, it was... a strange feeling.
Chrom sighed, "It's been so long since we did that. I honestly needed that a lot." Claude smiled at him as the two gave each other warm embraces. Chrom wanted the hug to last forever, he wanted to be in Claude's arms for a much longer time. He couldn't bear to be separated from him, but they stopped and looked down at the city.
"The city is so lively, makes you think of what's going on outside the city when things are happening..." Claude said as he looked down. Chrom nodded in agreement and walked closer to get a view. There were buildings everywhere and the citizens didn't have to worry about anything.
Chrom sighed, "Maybe taking the job of becoming a hero wasn't a good idea at all. I feel like I could've had a healthier life if I wasn't stressed out 90% of the time." Claude giggled a little and pat Chrom on the shoulder. Chrom smiled back at him as they continued to look down.
Claude replied, "You can always have a healthy life if you focus on yourself. I think you're so busy worrying about others that you completely forget to take care of yourself. I think that's the reasoning as to why you feel this way." Chrom looked at him and blushed. Then soon he fell on his shoulder. "Easy does it Chrom!"
"I can't help it..." Chrom whispered. Then he noticed something was starting to transpire. "Claude..."
"Chrom don't you worry about a thing,"
"CLAUDE!?"
"Chrom, what's leaving you so stressed out?!" Claude pushed back Chrom back as Chrom appeared to be shaking a little. "Chrom?"
Chrom shouted, "SOMETHING IS GOING ON!!" Then he pointed to a far distance where he saw the gates beginning to shake. They were shaking a lot, like someone was trying to break in. They stood there completely frozen as Chrom felt himself wanting to dash on over to investigate the situation.
"Oh... gods..." Claude gasped. Chrom dragged Claude down the hillside as the two dashed their way to the scene. None of the citizens surrounding them were paying attention. However, the heroes were able to react quick enough and went to the gates.
Mario groaned, "I'm almost certain that Magnus is trying to break in..." The heroes nodded as they took out their weapons. Chrom and Claude arrived at the scene as Chrom dashed over and took out his weapon. Claude stood behind but he grabbed out his bow just to make sure.
"Remember Chrom, we don't want to cause any problems..." Chrom looked back at Claude as he slowly nodded. Keeping his sword held up high as he was ready for anything to happen, Magnus was breaking through that door. He was going to find a way inside the city no matter what ended up happening. Chrom then turned to face Alear.
Alear muttered, "You need to stop acting so rash Chrom, this can lead to serious consequences-"
"Alear?! Let me have a few moments to attempt to do my all against him!? You guys have no clue how much trouble he is!?" Chrom looked at the gate in frustration as the gates fell down. He grabbed his sword even tighter as he waited. From the dust of the gate, Magnus came walking over with a wide smile on his face.
Magnus laughed, "Guess who's back again! You can never escape me no matter how hard you do..."
"Magnus..."
"Prince Chrom..." The two glared at one another, Chrom felt his anger building up as Magnus felt smug about the entire situation. "It's great seeing your face again..." He chuckled for a bit as he put his hand near his mouth. Chrom scoffed as he kept his eyes glaring at Magnus.
Chrom ordered, "I don't want to hear SHIT FROM YOU."
"Are you pissed off... seems like the guy is pissed off! How unfortunate..." Magnus giggled. Chrom kept his eyes on Magnus as soon everyone else took out their weapons to fight. "Seems like you heroes want a fight! If you want one... come at me..."
