"Mother Erica," Someone called. Erica turned around and saw Emera and Alaric. She stared down at them as she sat down on her throne. Her caretakers were making sure to make her happy, giving her food and giving her drinks. Making sure she wasn't pissed off as her caretakers feared her even.

Erica questioned, "Emera? Alaric? What on Dawn are you talking about here? Aren't you supposed to be taking care of Dawn City?"Emera and Alaric stood there in silence as Erica took a sip from her tea. They muttered something to each other as she put it down. "Well?"

Emera explained, "There has been a serious event that has transpired over the past few days. The heroes are dealing with it right now but it has to do with those who are infected by the despair Magnus is spreading. You think you can do anything?" She spat out her tea and glared at Emera in anger.

"Anything? I'm the goddess here! I decide when I make a change or not!" She slammed her hand on the table as several of her caretakers dashed off to clean the mess that was created. Emera and Alaric stood there glaring at Erica, she glared back at her.

"Your highness, the people are crying for help, they're suffering!" Erica looked at Emera and Alaric and scoffed. She turned her head away from them in anger. "The people need your help, there's no reason for you to not help them! Please, your highness!"

Erica replied, "You want to know something Emera? Magnus knows exactly what he is doing. Time is alongside Chrom in some form. Not there with him yet but she's dead. Ashyohia. PICKED HIM OUT OF ALL PEOPLE!? Magnus is doing what I simply commanded him to do. Making Chrom pay for the disgusting actions he has done. He is a HORRIBLE MAN!

The demon form of him isn't going to change. There is no reason to feel even the slightest remorse for him at all, there's no reason. Not one single reason, that man is insane and forever will be. I don't understand why you all trust him so much." The two stood there in silence as Alaric was getting irritated. However, Emera reassured him to be calm and not make Erica even more pissed off.

"Chrom is a good man, your highness, we don't have a single problem with him. He's simply doing what he does best, protecting the people from the danger that is the world hidden among what Magnus is doing," Alaric explained. Erica stared at them and turned over. Her long wavy hair flowed through the wind.

Erica groaned, "CHROM, CHROM CHROM! DAMN IT WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THAT FREAK WHO CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT HIS PEOPLE! HE IS NOTHING MORE BUT A LIAR AND A NON BELIEVER! NO REASON FOR HIM TO BE ALIVE!" Multiple of her caretakers ran away from the scene as Erica glared down at the two.

"Your highness this is too much-"

"DON'T YOU DARE HAVE A WORD AGAINST ME! Dawn will crumble to pieces in favor of trying to find a way to kill that man. I don't care what ends up happening in the long term, that man deserves to be DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!" Alaric and Emera slowly nodded as they walked out of the throne room.

Alaric whispered, "Our poor people... they're suffering because Erica wants Chrom dead. Is that what the right decision to do is!? Is she insane?!"

Emera replied, "We can't talk about Erica in that sense. She will get mad at us and punish us in her own manner. We have to sit back and pray that nothing bad ends up happening."

"That's some wishful thinking you're making there Emera... I'm certain this war is going to last until the death of Chrom or Magnus... which will take a while..." The two looked at one another as they looked at the door. "Emera, before we leave I have to mention something."

Emera asked, "Mention something? What are you going to do?" She turned to Alaric as he stood there in silence. He paused for a moment as he looked Emera in the eyes.

"I need to tell you something about Magnus, there's something extremely fishy about him and I'm afraid it's going to cause a huge problem in the long term," Alaric replied. He took out a file and then showed Emera a document on Magnus. The two looked at each other and back at the document.

Emera gasped, "You don't mean..." She put her hands near her mouth as she just stood there in silence. Alaric stood there in silence as he looked at the document. Tucking them away as he looked at Emera with slight sadness.

"The man, there is something wrong with him, something really wrong with him. Why can't we do anything?! Why can't we make a change?!" Alaric yelled in frustration. Emera patted his shoulder gently as she looked up at the gleaming sky.

Emera whispered, "Maybe the heroes can do it. They can save their people. I know they will..." Alaric nodded slowly as Emera held his hands. They walked away from the area as Alaric kept staring down at his document. "Don't worry about that please..."

"I can't, I'm worried sick about the heroes.. I'm worried Magnus is going to get to them and do something horrific to them. There is no telling what that insane man will do..."

"Rest easy Alaric, do not worry too much about this..." Emera looked at Alaric as she slowly nodded. Then they walked away from the area, further away from the castle Erica lived in...
