Let's get into it.
First Person POV - Y/n
The train ride continued on for a few hours, and even though there were all kinds of noises and sounds around us, Professor Lupin stayed asleep.
"We must be nearly there," said Ron, leaning forward to look past Professor Lupin at the now completely black window. As if on cue, the train began to slow down. "Great. I'm starving. I want to get to the feast."
"We can't be there yet," said Hermione, looking down at her watch.
"So then why have we stopped," I asked while looking out the window.
The train was barely moving and was still slowing down as the wind and rain sounded louder than ever against the windows. Harry, who was nearest the door, got up to look into the corridor.
"Do you see anything, Harry?" I asked looking at the professor who was still sleeping. "Should we wake him?"
"No, just people looking out of their compartments," Harry responded as he sat down next to me.
The train came to a stop with a jolt, and distant thuds and bangs told us that luggage had fallen out of the racks. Then, without warning, all the lamps went out and we were plunged into total darkness.
"What the hell is going on," I asked taking my wand out.
"Ouch!" gasped Hermione. "Ron, that was my foot!"
"Sorry, I can't bloody see. D'you think we've broken down?"
"Aren't we on a magic train?" I asked while slowly standing up to look outside the compartment.
I had gotten up and was about to open the door, when Harry pulled on my hand and whispered, "Y/n, don't."
"We gotta see what's out there," I reasoned but he shook his head, "Alright fine."
I sat back down and heard a squeaking sound to the left of me. I looked over and saw a black outline of Ron rubbing the window with the sleeve of his robe.
"There's something moving out there," Ron said. "I think people are coming aboard..."
"How could they be coming aboard, we're not even at a station," said Hermione's voice from across me.
The compartment door suddenly opened and someone fell painfully over my legs.
"Sorry! D'you know what's going on," said the familiar voice of Neville.
"Hello, Neville," I said, feeling around in the dark and pulling Neville up by his cloak.
"Y/n? Harry? Is that you? What's happening?"
"No idea! Sit down!" I snapped.
I heard another pair of footsteps slide past my legs, which turned out to be Hermione's as she told us, "I'm going to go and ask the driver what's going on."
I heard the door slide open again but instead of someone leaving, I heard a thud and two more pairs of legs being thrown into the compartment.
"Alright, that's it," I snapped as I held my hands out. "Lumos Maxima!"
A bright sphere of light lit up the compartment, and I saw a few of the faces that were in the compartment. I could see Ginny, Neville, Hermione, Y/n, and Ron.
"Hermione, weren't you headed towards the Driver's cabin?" I asked trying to make out what the Professor was doing.
"I was, but then someone bumped into me and I fell into the cabin," replied Hermione's voice.
