Lets get into it!
First Person POV - Y/n
"Hey Potter," I said smiling at him.
"Hey Emrys," replied Harry.
He smiled at me but there was this weird sort of animosity between us. Maybe it was cause I hadn't written to him all summer but that was because Remus and Sirius refused to let us.
Or maybe it was cause of all the romantic commotion from last year, either way I got up and that's when his eyes seemed to fall on Dayton.
"Wait, wait," I said as he lunged forward but I grabbed his hands before he could, "It's ok. I promise."
He glanced at me once before he abruptly pulled away.
"Alright," said Harry nodding.
I led him upstairs and Ron and Hermione followed us up and once we were inside a room, I shut the door.
"How are you? Are you all right? Have you been furious with us?" asked Hermione immediately, "I bet you have, I know our letters were useless but we couldn't tell you anything-"
"Let him breathe, Hermione," I said as Ron nodded and Hedwig flew into the room.
"She pecked me half to death," said Ron showing his hands.
"Oh yeah," Harry said. "Sorry about that, but I wanted answers, you know..."
"What happened with everything?" I asked and he turned to me, "the whole dementor thing."
"Dudley and I were walking back home and then one of them attacked us," explained Harry, "I was defending myself."
"Yeah, we know," said Hermione soothingly but Harry looked mad.
"How'd that even happen though?" asked Ron, "They've had people from the Order of the Phoenix tailing you all the time-"
"Didn't work that well, though, did it?" snapped Harry. "Had to look after myself after all, didn't I?"
"He was so angry," said Hermione. "Dumbledore. We saw him. When he found out Mundungus had left before his shift had ended. He was scary."
"Well, I'm glad he left," Harry said coldly. "If he hadn't, I wouldn't have had to do magic and I would have been stuck at Privet Drive all summer."
"They were going to eventually bring you," I replied, "There's just been lots of...complications and they haven't had the time to sort of figure out the whole rescue-"
"You could still've kept me informed if he'd wanted to," Harry said. "You could've, Y/n. I got a few letters from them but you sent me nothing."
"Har, I tried," I reasoned with him, "They wouldn't let me communicate or do anything. I haven't seen the outside of this place since the term ended."
"At least you've been with people that you can spend time with," said Harry.
"Harry..."
"It's fine, it's alright," said Harry and I glanced at Hermione and Ron who shrugged.
He left the room after that and I looked at Ron and Hermione who also looked like they had no idea what to do.
"Well, this is great," I said sighing.
"He has every right to be mad," said Hermione and I nodded. "I just wish he wasn't mad at us. We tried."
"He knows," I said trying to comfort her, "He just...I'll go talk to him."
