Hey guys! We're back with Rose as she has finally made it back to Mewni. But what about the others? Let's jump in and find out what's going on! :D
-Rose's POV-
"Ow!" I said, wincing. Moon huffed in annoyance, "Rose, stop moving! I'm trying to wrap your arm."
"You're wrapping it too tightly," I complained. Moon tightened the bandage and I winced again. She sighed, "Well, it needs to be tight so it doesn't fall off."
Mom had brought me to her tent and we checked my shoulder. She and I saw a dark spot on it with black lines cracking out in different directions. Mom wouldn't say what it was, but she applied some magic to some bandages and wrapped my shoulder up. I looked at her and asked, "Am I good?"
"Those bandages will absorb your injury and heal you. But it will take some time." I nodded and stood up. I headed for the tent's entrance as mom asked, "Rose, where are you going?"
"I'm going to go help Eclipsa," I stated. I stepped out of the tent and headed for the draw bridge. Moon followed me out, exclaiming, "What?! Rose, you're hurt! You shouldn't be moving!"
"Star and the others are still trying to get back here," I said. "And Eclipsa is in trouble. Someone has to do something."
Moon ran in front of me and placed a hand on my uninjured shoulder. "Rose, you are in no position to fight. Your shoulder is injured and needs to heal."
"It can't be that badly hurt," I started. But my shoulder betrayed me in that moment and started to ache. I flinched and Moon explained, "I don't know how, but you've been touched by corrupt magic. It's like a sickness, spreading from where it starts. It can be stopped if it's caught early. Like how I'm using the bandages now to absorb whatever is remaining. But if you don't let the bandages do their work, it'll continue to spread."
I stopped and glanced at my injured shoulder. I sighed, "I'll stay. But only until Star and the others get here."
Moon looked at me for a moment and sighed, "Alright. I want you back at the tent and resting." I smirked and said, "Okay. I'll go rest."
I headed back for the tent and sat down on the bed inside. I know she said for me to lie down but I couldn't. I couldn't relax knowing that Eclipsa was in trouble. I rubbed my forehead and sighed, "What has been happening on Mewni since we left?"
From outside, I heard a large commotion going on. I lifted my head and listened. It sounded as if the draw bridge was being lowered. I stood up and went for the exit of the tent, stepping out once more. I saw many Mewmans running around, with uncle River telling people what to do. But closer to the gate, I could see mom and Star talking. I hurried over, weaving between the crowds to reach them. When I was close, I shouted, "Star! Over here!"
Star and Moon looked at me, both in surprise. Star ran over first and nearly tackled me in a hug. "Rose! Thank goodness you're okay!" Star said. I winced in pain as my shoulder ached. But I clenched my teeth and managed to say, "I can say the same thing about you."
Star let go of me and then noticed my shoulder. Her eyes widen as she asked, "Rose, what happened to your shoulder?" I patted it, gently, and said, "I got into a bit of a fight in the magic dimension. But I'm fine now. Are you okay? Where are the others?"
Star pulled her mirror phone out of her pocket. She started dialing a number, explaining, "We got separated when we were in the magic dimension. I've been trying to call the others but-"
She then showed me the screen of her phone. It was fuzzy with only static noise. I bit my lip, "This is bad. And it just keeps getting worse."
"What do you mean?"
