Hey guys! We're back with Rose as she continues her days at the Mewni castle. Wonder what today will bring? Also, this picture is the last one from the drawing contest. This picture was done by MoonFangs444. I love the color to it and style of her final butterfly form. Great job, MoonFangs! And now, here's the new chapter! :D

-Rose's POV-

"And then Lekmet said," Uncle River said as he made a goat noise. Rhombulus, Uncle River, Aunt Moon and Heckapoo all laughed sadly before sighing. I glanced at Star, who looked just as sad and awkward as I felt. We were at Lekmet's memorial service. Star was wearing a rather simple black dress, with her hair up and braided with dark flowers in it. My hair was up in the same fashion and I was wearing a similar dress to Star's, except mine was a bit darker then hers. Manfred walked over to us and asked, "Hors d'oeuvres, your Highnesses?"

He held out a plate of tin cans that had tooth picks in them. I glanced at Star and she said, "Why not?"

She picked one up and I followed suit. Manfred walked away and I looked at the tin can. "How are we suppose to-" I whispered to Star. But stopped when I saw her gnawing on the tin can. Rhombulus walked over to us and said, "It's not exactly princess food, but it was Lekmet's favorite meal. That's how humble that guy was."

He lifted his tin can and said, "To Lekmet! Our selfless comrade who always gave to others before ever taking for himself!" He then bleated and everybody in the room bleated as well. Rhombulus turned to Star and I, saying, "I told him that would get him killed one day."

He then looked at Star and said, "Give the can to your father, love. He's got teeth like a tiger fish." Star nodded and Rhombulus walked away. Something out of the corner of my eye moved and I looked to my left. "Hmm?" I said, looking at the food table. The punch bowl sat still as the punch inside shifted a little. I looked directly into the punch bowl, trying to see if a fly or something flew into it.

Instead, Glossaryck floated to the surface of the punch. I gasped and Star looked at me in worry. "Rose, what's-" she started. But then she looked at the punch bowl and her eyes grew wide. "Glossaryck! Glossaryck's back! Glossaryck! Glossaryck?"

"Star, chill!" I said, trying to grab her. But she jumped up onto the table and shoved her face into the punch bowl. Aunt Moon rushes over and said, "Star!"

Star sat down on the table and turned the bowl upside. The punch splashed all over her and she looked at Aunt Moon. "Glossaryck! Mom, did you see him?! In the bowl! In that bowl! You all saw him, right?!"

Aunt Moon moved both Star and I away from everybody and into the hallway. Once out in the hallway, she turned to us and said to Star, "Star, I know this is an emotional day. But this is Lekmet's funeral, not Glossaryck's."

"But aunt Moon," I said, stepping in. "We saw Glossaryck."

"Rose, we all see Glossaryck," She said. She placed her hands over her heart and said, "in here." Then she reached out and placed a hand over Star's and I's heart, "And here too."

Star moved her mom's hand and said, "And in that punch bowl! All bug-eyed and big-mouthed! Classic Glossaryck. I bet he came for the memorial!"

"Look, I-I get it, girls. Funerals are unsettling. Strange food, Lekmet's friends, the music, it's all different and maybe a little scary. But don't turn this into a ghost story."

"What? Who said anything about a ghost? Aunt Moon, we saw Glossaryck," I said.

"You-you didn't see Glossaryck, and you didn't see his ghost," Aunt Moon said simply. Star gave her mom an annoyed look and said, "Okay, stop saying "ghost". It's weird."
