Hey guys! We're finally back with Rose as things get more and more intense. What's going to happen now? Let's jump in and find out! :D

-Rose's POV-

"All rise! The court of the Magical High Commission is now in session. Her Majesty, Queen Moon of Mewni, presiding," Omni stated. Rhombulus and Heckapoo stood up as Aunt Moon walked in front of the center seat in the courtroom. Star and I stood up from our seats as asked, and I looked around the room.

Today was the day. The trial of Eclipsa and Rhea was finally happening. The trial was being held in the dimension of the Magical High Commission, at the top floor, where the meetings usually were. Rhombulus was sitting all the way on the left, an empty seat with Lekmet's picture sat next to him, Aunt Moon in the middle, Omnitraxus Prime was using a magical orb on a stand to be here today, then Heckapoo sat in the chair on the far right. I looked out in front of the five-way stand and saw two podiums. Eclipsa stood behind one with cuffs around her wrists, and Rhea stood in the other one on her right, also wearing cuffs on her wrists. I curled my hands into fists, annoyed that they had to wear the cuffs. I leaned over to Star, whispering, "Did they really have to make them wear cuffs?"

Star rolled her eyes in agreement as we heard Aunt Moon say, "Thank you. We are gathered here today for the trial of Eclipsa-"

The door to the courtroom burst open as Sean burst into the room, pushing a desk with wheels, and a typewriter on it. "I'm sorry! I-I'm sorry I'm late!" He said, pushing the desk inside. He set up his station in front of the five-way desk, saying, "We haven't had a trial in so long, I didn't know where to find the typey thingy. Usually Rhombulus just crystallizes everybody. With his laser eye. But a real trial! This is exciting!"

"That depends on where you're sitting," Eclipsa commented. Rhea nodded in agreement as Aunt Moon repeated, "As I was saying, we're gather here today for the trial of Eclipsa and Rhea."

She stopped as the noise from the typewriter was becoming annoying. She glared at Sean, who in response started to type slowly. Aunt Moon relaxed and continued, "We shall determine once and for all whether Eclipsa has committed the evil deeds recorded in our histories. Along with if Rhea had any association to the dark magic as well. If they are found guilty, the punishment will be-"

"Death! Death!" Rhombulus shouted. Aunt Moon turned to him and said, "Rhombulus, we've talked about this."

"Well, we crystallized them last time. Look how that turned out. Death!" He shouted, standing up. Aunt Moon stood up and said, "Hey! Sit down!"

Rhombulus stopped and slowly sat down, saying, "Yes, ma'am..."

"Well, that's all in order. But what are they doing here?" Heckapoo asked, gesturing to Star and I. "This is supposed to be a private hearing!"

"Star and Rose were the ones who convinced me to hold this trial in the first place. If Eclipsa and Rhea are found guilty, I want them to be here to see it," Aunt Moon said. Star smiled confidently, saying, "Or if they're innocent—which they are—I wanna see all y'all's faces when you realize how wrong you were."

All at once, everyone started shouting over one another. Heckapoo, shouting at Star about how we shouldn't be here, and Star shouting back at Heckapoo. Rhombulus shouting 'Death!' and Aunt Moon trying to calm him down. Omni trying to tell me to control Star and I yelled back saying that Star could do whatever she wanted. Finally, Sean shouted, "Excuse me! Hey, sorry, but could you talk a bit slower, please?"

Aunt Moon stared at Sean and, whispered angrily, "No." Sean then turned to the typewriter and typed in the word. Omni looked at Eclipsa and Rhea, saying, "Queen Moon, what evidence have you brought us?"
