Hey guys! Sorry for the really slow update; I've been sick, and I've now recovered but now I have school to catch up on and life is being a jerk at the moment. Anyway, here is the new chapter! :D

-Rose's POV-

-Rose's Dream-

"Hello?" I called out. The area I was in was dark and I was in a glass like box. I walked over to the glass and touched it, allowing my hand to slid slowly. The glass was smooth and, oddly felt familiar. Why did this place feel so familiar? Suddenly, bursts of light was shining on the other side. The light lit up the darkness, showing a figure fighting. It looked like Star, fighting monsters. A sense of urgency took over me and I backed away from the glass to break it.

Suddenly, a sharp pain closed around my neck and the feeling of being choked took over. My necklace had turned a dark sickly green, and I collapsed to my knees.

"Rose Butterfly," a voice said, eerie and loud. "Come."

"Wh-What?!" I gasped, trying to understand. The pain grew worse as the necklace started to pull me away from the glass. I started pulling against it, trying to get back to the glass wall to help Star.

"You will listen! I have control now!" the voice shrieked.

"No you don't!" I yelled. I didn't know the voice nor why the necklace was reacting in this way. But I knew if I didn't do something, Star was going to be in trouble without my help. The necklace's grip on my throat tighten and black spots appeared at the corner of my vision. I gasped and grabbed my necklace, and screamed, "I'M IN CONTROL!"

The necklace suddenly stopped glowing and I collapsed in exhaustion. When I hit the ground, my dream ended.

-Rose's POV-

I gasped and sat up in bed, shocked by the dream. I tried steadying my breath, but the nightmare was still too fresh and I was having a hard time trying to keep my hands from shaking. I got out of bed and realized my legs were shaking too. I clutched my necklace and felt it vibrating.

"What the heck is going on?!" I mumbled, trying to stay calm. Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and Marco was standing at the top, a look of worry on his face.

"Are you okay?" he asked, sounding out of breath.

"I'm fine," I said, sitting on my bed. Marco walked over and placed a hand on my shoulder. He seemed to flinch at the fact that I was still shaking.

"Did you have a nightmare?" he asked. I nodded, and he sat next to me, "You want to talk about it?"

"Not really," I said. "It's still fresh and I'd rather not remember at the moment."

Marco nodded, seeming to understand. He got up and said, "Well, if you need Star or I, you can just give us a call."

"Marco, are you okay?" I asked, just as he was about to walk down the stairs. He stopped, seeming to hesitate. So I continued, "You've been really upset since I woke up, and it seems every little thing seems to bother you now. Is it something that I did?"

"No, it's not what you did," he said, not turning to me. "Just....get better and remember everything."

Marco walked down the stairs, leaving me sitting on my bed. I stared at my hands and curled them into fists. I know what I had to do today.

-Time skip!-

"Glossaryck!" I shouted, tapping on the spell book. The book flew open and Glossaryck sat on the page, looking up at me.

"Hello, Rose," he said. "Did you bring me some pudding?"

I held out a small cup of pudding, which Glossaryck took eagerly. As he ate it, I said, "Glossaryck, I need some help."
