Hey guys! So I'm kind of excited because season two for this story is almost over! Anyway, time to jump in and see how everybody is doing! :D

-Rose's POV-

"Rose, do you want to come with us?" Marco asked, poking his head outside. I was sitting outside on the balcony outside of my room. Marco had just broke my concentration on a spell and I sighed. "No thank you, Marco," I said. "I'm trying to practice my magic."

"You sure?" He asked. I nodded and heard him say, "Well, we won't be long."

"Okay, see you later," I said, closing my eyes. I heard his footsteps retreat and guilt bubbles up in my gut. That sounded a little harsh but I did need to concentrate on my magic. It was getting harder to do it at night and still get sleep. I took a deep breath and focused on the spell.

I had an apple seed in a flower pot. My job was to try and get it to grow and bloom into a tree, like the time with Baby. If I can pull it off on my own, then doing multiple spells at once won't be so hard and tiring. I took a deep breath and pointed a finger at the pot. I focused on the seed in the soil, imagining it taking root and slowly growing. I felt my cheeks starting to slowly glow brighter and brighter as the magic in me flowed.

The sound of a car crash broke my silence and made me jump. My eyes shot open and I looked at the pot. Nothing; not even a sprout. I groaned and got up marching to the edge of the balcony to see what happened. My eyes grew wide at the sight of Ms. Heinous getting out of a car that had crashed on top of another car. I stepped back away from the balcony and fell back. I quickly pulled out my phone and called Marco.

"Come on," I muttered, hearing the ring. Marco picked up after the second ring and asked, "Rose? You okay?"

"Hey, are you and Star on your way back?" I asked, peeking my head over the balcony.

"Uh yeah. Why?"

"Get back quickly. We got some unwelcome company," I said, hanging up and watching as Ms. Heinous and her goblin companion walked up to the door. The sound of wood breaking echoed up to me and I panicked. I quickly got up and ran back into my room. I slid down the railing of the stairs and burst out of the room. I ran down the hallway and barreled down the stairs. I stopped upon seeing Mr. and Mrs. Diaz welcoming Ms. Heinous in. I glared at her and said, "You!"

She reacted the same way, saying, "You!"

I jumped down the stairs and stood between Ms. Heinous and the Diazs. "Watch out, Mr. and Mrs. Diaz," I warned them. "She's dangerous."

"Dangerous?" Heinous said, acting surprised. "What a horrible thing to say!"

"Because that's what you are! You broke down the door and was going to attack the Diazs."

"On the contrary, these lovely people actually let me in. Even after Gemini broke down the door," she responded, gesturing to the door. Gemini, the one eyed dwarf, frowned but didn't say anything. I looked to Mr. and Mrs. for confirmation. Mrs. Diaz stepped forward and said, "She's telling the truth, Rose. And it seems like you, Star and Marco have a lot of explaining to do."

I bit my lip and glared at Ms. Heinous. She smirked and giggled evilly. I sighed and said, "Fine. But Marco and Star are out, so we'll have to wait until they get back."

"That's fine," Mr. Diaz said. "Please get a chair for Ms. Heinous and we'll wait for the other two." I opened my mouth to object but the looks from both Mr. and Mrs. Diaz said not to object. I sighed and said, "Fine."

I walked out of the living room and into the dining room. I looked at the dining chairs, trying to decided which one would be the easiest to get. Then I noticed a small stool in the corner of the kitchen. I smiled and grabbed it, bringing it back to the living room. Mr. and Mrs. Diaz noticed the stool in my hands and they gave me a disapproving look. I shrugged my shoulders and placed the stool down on the other side of the coffee table. I glanced at Ms. Heinous and smirked at her uncomfortable look. I smirked and even dusted off the stool, gesturing grandly to the stool.
