Hey guys! We're back with Rose as the battle for Mewni has finally been won. What will happen now? Also, here's one of the three lovely pictures submitted for the Butterfly form of Rose. I absolutely love the green color for it and I love the design for her form. Great job BookChronicles! Anyway, here's the next chapter guys! :D

-Rose's POV-

"Do you have to go?" I asked, watching as Marco packed his things. It had been a few days since the Battle of Mewni. Within those few days, Star, Marco and I have hung out, helped fix the castle and return things to order as they were before. It felt like time had flown by since we all were together again. But now Marco had to leave, and with every second, it was becoming harder and harder not to cry.

Marco nodded, not saying anything. He zipped up his duffel bag and looked at me. I bit my lip and felt tears well up in my eyes. He put down his duffel bag and pulled me into a hug. I couldn't hold it in any longer and I started to cry. Marco hugged me tighter and said, "Don't worry, Rose. I'll be back soon, and then we can hang out more."

I nodded, sniffling and trying to pull myself together. I stepped away from Marco and wiped my eyes. "Sorry," I said, sniffling. "I'm...just going to miss you."

He smiled and said, "Me too. Come on, I got to go say good-bye to everybody else." I nodded and we both walked out of the room. I had gotten a few steps out of the door when hands reached down and grabbed Marco. He was lifted off of his feet by the mime, who was being held by Ruberiot and Foolduke. "Whoa! Oh, hey, guys," Marco said.

"We're gonna miss you, dude," Ruberiot said. Foolduke nodded and said, "Come on, Marco, can't you stay a little longer?"

"Love to, but Earth's callin'," Marco said. Ruberiot nodded and said, "All right then. See you on the flip, Marco."

And being quite literal, the mime flipped Marco and over the stairs. I gasped and rushed down the stairs, where Marco had landed on his duffel bag. Marco stood up and looked up. Star, aunt Moon and Uncle River were all standing in front of him. I stood next to Star as Marco got up and said to Uncle River, "Well, I, uh... guess this is goodbye."

Uncle River grabbed Marco and hugged. He then released him, saying, "And what a pleasure it's been. This place won't be the same without you, my lad. But before you go, there's something I want to give you for all you've done for our kingdom. Squire!" A squire walked up next to uncle River and opened the box he had in his hands. Uncle River pulled a long blue cape from the box and put it on Marco. "Ta-da!" He said.

"Whoa! Cool!" Marco said, grinning. Uncle River laughed and said, "Ha-ha! You're like a real live knight now. Look at you, my boy. In fact, if you ever want to be a knight one day, give me a call."

"Wow. Thank you, River," Marco said. Aunt Moon walked over to Marco and said, "Take care of yourself back on Earth." She then kissed his forehead and said, "Thanks."

"Tell your parents I said hi," Star said, hugging Marco. He nodded and looked at me. I bit my lip, already feeling the tears forming in my eyes. I cleared my throat and said, "Well, I guess this is good-bye."

"Yeah," Marco said, looking away. I nodded and said, "Well...bye."

"Bye," He said. He turned away and, using his dimensional scissors, opened a portal. As he started to walk through, the tears started to fall and I couldn't stand it. "Marco wait!" I shouted, grabbing his hand. I pulled him back and looked at him. He gave me a startled look as I said, "I need a longer good-bye then that."

He frowned a little and said, "Me too."

We hugged each other and I sniffled, feeling a few tears fall from my eyes. He hugged me tightly and that only made me cry harder. Finally, we broke apart and I said, "Well, bye again."
