Guilt and Annoying Pixies

Hey guys! Like I said before, I'm going to keep putting up the pictures everybody entered in that didn't get mentioned before the Mewberty Chapter. Sp this picture was done by "Musicnote324 Is Feeling Better". I love the combination of colors and details on the wings, and clothing. Overall, very well done and great effort. Well done, Musicnote! -Rose's POV-

Things didn't go back to the way they were right away. When I got home from school that day, and found out about what happened at school during my incident, I felt so horrible. I had damage the school, probably scarred every guy there, probably almost ruined of any chance Star had with Oskar, and on top of that, when I saw the bruises on Star's arms and asked about them and she finally told me it was from me, I couldn't face Star. Marco tried his best to help me, but I wouldn't allow anybody near me for the next week. I cast a spell over my room, preventing anybody else but me to come in. I stayed in my room for that whole week, not going to school. The teachers would send homework home with Star and she would bring it up to my room, the only time I allowed Star and Marco to come into my room.

A week later, Friday afternoon, I was lying on my bed, in my fortress of pillows and sheets. I was trying to recall everything I did the day of my incident. I sighed and placed both my hands over my heart. I whispered and spell and when I opened my hands, the memories of what happened were in my hands. I sat up and watched the memories reply in my hands. I couldn't believe I only remembered to protect Marco and not Star. Star is my sister! She should've been my first priority. I'm suppose to watch and protect her from anything that could hurt her. Some sister I was. Just then, I heard tapping on my bubble shield. That must be Star. I pressed my hands over my heart, putting the memories back in me. I crawled out from the blankets and pillows and saw that it was only Star this time. I lowered the shield and she came through.

"Hey Rose," she said softly, "How are you?"

"I'm terrible Star," I said, grabbing a pillow and hugging it. Turns out that the pillow I grabbed was part of the supporting structure in my fortress, because the entire thing collapsed. I moaned and pressed my face into my pillow. star used her wand and fixed my bed and room up so that it was back to it's organized self. She placed my school stuff on my desk and said, "You know, our math teacher said you did a great job on your last test."

"Yeah. Great."

Star sighed and turned to me, "Rose, how long are you going to keep this up?"

"Long enough for everybody to forget."

"Rose! You can't do that!"

"Why not?! It's better that everybody forgets about what I did!"

Star stopped, "Rose, it's not your fault. And wait! I'm not finished."

I stopped from what I was about to say and allowed her to finish. "Sure, you were the one who caused the incident last week. But look on the bright side, nobody got seriously hurt, Oskar and the guys at school are fine now. In fact, I'm sure they can say hi to you and not be afraid of you. Marco is happy to have you back to normal and is glad that your safe."

"It's not just that," I said, turning away from Star, "Sure, everything may be back to normal with everybody. But it doesn't change one thing; that I'm a terrible sister. I should've been thinking of you Star before I transformed, but instead I didn't and you got hurt because of me."

Just then, we both heard laughing downstairs in Star's room, and Star said, "Marco brought Ferguson, and Alfonzo over. I have to head back downstairs, but I'll just say really quick. You only had tome to protect one of us, and Marco doesn't have a magic wand to protect him. Marco at that moment needed you more then I needed you. But don't worry," at this she walked over and hugged me, "Soon enough, I'll need you and you'll be there." She then let go and walked back downstairs. I sat there, thinking about what Star said. I stood up and finally disabled the shield around my room.
