Hey guys! Here's another lovely picture of Rose by Christin! I absolutely love this picture; it's so cute!  Anyway, here's the new chapter! :D

-Rose POV-

I lied on my bed, staring at the canopy ceiling, my journal lying beside me. My journal entries ended abruptly, the last thing being about Marco and I's relationship. It sounded like we were best friends before. The thought of it made me smile. But what confused me was how Marco is acting now; did we get into a fight before my memory lose?

"Whatever happened in the past, is the past," I sighed. "Besides, I'm sure he can forgive me if I asked what happened." I sat up, and got off my bed. I put my journal on my bookshelf and slid down the railing, coming into Stars art of the room. She seemed to be making another one of those Mewni ships in a bottle. I was about to walk out the bedroom door, when I bumped into Marco.

"Marco!" I said, surprised. "What's up?"

"I need to talk to Star," Marco explained, walking past me. He walked in and told Star she needed to take out the trash. She slightly moaned, and Marco walked away. He looked up, surprised that I was still standing there.

"Everything okay?" he asked.

"I....need to ask you something," I said, suddenly feeling nervous. He seemed to notice my nervousness and said, "Everything okay?"

I sighed and said, "Did we get into a fight before I lost my memory?"

Marco flinched, surprised by the question. "No? Why would you think that?" He asked, looking at me worried.

"It's just...you've been acting off lately and, I've recently finished reading my journal and from the sound of it, we were best friends before hand. I wasn't sure of it was because of a fight or if something happened that made you like this. Is it because of my memory lose you feel bad about a fight beforehand?"

Marco, the entire time I spoke, kept his head down and was biting his lower lip, as if trying to keep quiet about something. He sighed and looked back up at me.

"I think we should sit down and talk about this," he said, walking past me, taking my hand and leading me to the living room.

We both sat on the couch, sitting in silence. Marco pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket, unfolding it and handing it to me.

"Why did you write this?" He asked, as I took the note. I flinched, realizing the note he had was the one I had left on his desk.

"Well, I wrote it because I recently saw a memory of you in the past," I explained.

Marco stares at me, wide eyed. "You remembered something?!" He asked, shocked.

"N-no," I said. "I saw the memory, but I didn't remember anything. But...in the memory, you had a crush on Jackie, and I realized, maybe the reason why you've been upset was because maybe you didn't think you had a chance with Jackie. So I was trying to encourage you to not give up."

Marco only stared at me, his eyes wide and his face un-reacting, as if he was trying to understand where I was coming from.

"Are...you okay?" I asked.

"I'm just....I should've figured out that's what you meant in the letter," he said, taking the letter back. He folded it and put it back in his pocket. He looked back up at me and smiled, but I looked forced.

"Thank you, Rose," he said. "I'll try my best."

"Are you sure your okay?" I asked, looking at Marco uncertainly. He nodded, though it looked forced. Before I could ask anything else, Cloudy came floating downstairs, although he didn't look like his normal self. He looks green and second, he was destroying everything in sight.
